@Leo Gura Do you think in hundreds of years western societies will get to the point where basically everybody is at least green, and green will become the new orthodoxy? And the conflict of world views won’t be green vs orange/blue but green resisting yellow?

Look into the Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) community where you learn how you can become financially independent at a very young age such as in your 30s where you don’t have to work to live your life. When you reach that point you’d be freed up to do as much spirituality as you wanted and your work would be extra, and you’d only do it if you genuinely wanted to.

People gotta stop ragging on capitalism so much. It’s the only viable economic system that can work when society gets to a certain level. The more important variable is the level of consciousness the people who are engaging in the capitalist system are at.

@aurum Whilst that can definitely be the case, don’t you think that can be a one sided view of looking at romance? If you don’t experience any romance you could be missing some pretty cool experiences life has to offer imo.

Depersonalisation ain't enlightenment at all. It's a dissociative mechanism humans evolved to numb ourselves during periods of intense anxiety. It's quite a disturbing symptom and I struggled with it a lot, but it goes away when you stop ruminating about it.

Depersonalisation and enlightenment are very different things, don't confuse the two. DP is a symptom of anxiety where you become numb and dissociated. In my eyes they're nearly polar opposites, but can sound similar on the surface

Are you maximising other areas of your life too? Do you have an attractive lifestyle? Are you maximising your looks (gym, style)? Looks, money, status and game are all important, despite what the PUAs tell you.

Similar thing happened to me when I was watching the video. I started contemplating what language actually is, and that it's just pure sounds with no instrinsic meaning, and it really fucked with my sense of reality and I had a mini freak out.

Yeah I watch it, it's pretty valuable in terms of entertainment goes I think! I loved in the White Christmas episode how sitting and having nothing to do was a form of torture.
