  1. With certain things I have a lot of trouble surrendering. I wouldn't say I'm liberated but my life has gotten a lot better.
  2. I think something like 90+ percent of forex traders never make any money.
  3. Has anyone here tried not breathing? I have been holding my breath for years. Kinda based.
  4. I think resistance to thoughts/emotions leads to suffering, and the physical manifestation of resistance is tension/contraction in the body along with mental neuroticism. This is why people are so anxious, they are fighting constantly and are not good at surrender. When you surrender and fully allow yourself to feel your emotions the tension is released. When you stop running away, or fighting whatever negative feeling, you experience it, let it go and move past it. But you actually have to feel the feeling, or experience the emotion fully, without judgement, without trying to fix it, and without trying to do something about it. When you do that, you experience it fully the tension is released. It's the same way with people who are avoiding responsibility or avoiding certain thoughts. It all just gets buried until you are a tense, depressed, and anxious wreck. Energetically you are closed off. We have all been there.
  5. Good and bad are just human labels. You realize you are causing your own suffering by believing everything should be a certain way, In reality, there is no perfect or not perfect- things just are, and you label them good or bad, right or wrong, etc. Your mind has been conditioned to do this as a survival mechanism, and society reinforces this behavior. The ego uses logic to divide, label, and separate itself from the whole. So trying to understand this from simply a logical perspective is difficult, as the same tool you're using to understand this lesson is causing you to believe things aren't perfect. You can always find a reason for things to not be perfect. You have to move past your own reasoning and perception to understand that lesson. You have to move past your own story. Letting go of personal bias toward specific outcomes that benefit you is naturally difficult. As you shed your biases, you slowly become more content with things that used to bother you. You can forgive yourself for things you did, and forgive others, and begin to understand why those things happened from a metaphysical perspective instead of just a logical perspective. Things become easier, and the more conscious you get, you can look at your own human nature from above and watch yourself play the role of a human, instead of being fully identified with your human experience. Labeling reality as "perfect" will be misunderstood from a human perspective. It's not really perfect, it just makes sense, and simply is the way it is. That's how the lesson gets misunderstood. Things are simply happening as you judge and interpret them. That truth is not easy to accept because humans naturally contextualize and craft a narrative around all phenomena.
  6. It depends how much you take. Up to a certain point you can remind yourself you took something, but past a certain threshold you will forget that you took a drug, then blackout entirely. You can't recall anything. You could potentially forget where you are, who you are, etc. Before blacking out entirely, Imagine a nightmare where anything you imagine appears, like animals or people. You interact with them, and they are 100 percent real to you, because your mind is creating these scenarios. Then, poof... what you are looking at disappears in front of you. I remember seeing hundreds of white bunnies hopping around one night before disappearing before my eyes. Once I looked into a neighbors yard, and saw a massive mosh-pit, like at a punk concert. It was very violent, then disappeared suddenly. When this happens you are dumbfounded. Imagine being in your backyard, and a deer appears in front of you. A real deer. Then a man, wearing a red flannel shirt and holding a carving knife, emerges from behind a tree. He grabs the deer around the neck and begins repeatedly stabbing the deer 10 feet from you. The deer squirms and blood shoots everywhere. He then begins to skin the deer. You watch in horror, because there is no real distinction between your hallucination and what is real in that state. There is no time to remind yourself you took a drug, you instinctively act as if it's real. You are panicked. Then, the deer and hunter both disappear, and you go "Oh yeah, I am hallucinating, what the fuck... I need to go inside." When you are at that point, there is still some level of reminding yourself you took a drug. That state is somewhat manageable but still incredibly dangerous. If you go deeper, you start to forget the entire experience. You'll just get glimpses of parts of it the next day if you're lucky, sort of like blacking out on alcohol. In that state, you are simply not yourself and god knows what could happen to you or what you could do to others. I've heard of people driving their cars into other peoples houses and not remembering it. Either way, what makes the experience stand out is the complete blend between reality and imagination, and the ultra convincing hallucinations. The hallucinations are impossibly real- like what someone who has never done drugs imagines psychedelics to be, or maybe what having schizophrenia is like. You will see bugs under your skin and hear people talking to you that aren't there. You are completely confused. I've done lots of hallucinogens and have had scary trips but this isn't like those. I've forgotten that I took a drug many times, but it is nothing like those experiences. Imagine taking what you know now, and adding layers of horror and confusion on top of it, while still being awake and able to move around, still thinking but unable to properly contextualize or understand anything.

  9. MDMA + LSD is great. I would get familiar with both substances first though. Don't do MDMA too regularly and keep your dosage low. I don't do MDMA anymore because playing with my seratonin isn't worth it to me. But if you've never experienced it's definitely worth it.
