It's a very common practice, so common it would scare you. I know this from direct experience. The higher the position you are applying to, the more in depth the investigation of your online activities is.

Unhappiness is there in the background of happiness. The experience of the ultimate reality is a state beyond happiness and unhappiness. You consider a wet pitcher to be full of water when seen from a distance because usually a pitcher full of water looks wet. Likewise in the gesture and posture of a self-realized person, there appears an apparent state of happiness but this is not happiness. What that state is cannot be expressed in language. After seeing which the longing for seeing goes away forever is real seeing. After hearing which the desire for further hearing never appears is real hearing. Verily, real darshan (witnessing the ultimate reality) is that after which the question of witnessing, not witnessing and proof of witnessing does not arise. (There is) Unveiled, pure and unquestioned darshan everywhere.

Think of it as Martial Arts. In boxing they don't teach you how to kick but it's useful. In taekwondo they teach you how to kick but not how to grapple. In judo they teach you how to grapple but not how to submit properly and so on.
In spirituality is the same, if you want to be a Mixed Martial Artist you will have to discover and train particularly each facet and then combine them all together. They all have value in a sense, some are better and some are worse but you should definetely learn to box if you wanna fight even though they don't teach you the other dimensions. In fact they may be better in that dimension than others that teach more dimensions at the same time but lack depth in that particular facet you are interested in. Therefore, you should consider carefully Ralston program even though he does not teach love, he may be good in other things, he is a genius in body consciousness for example.

Take time to decompress.
There is a beautiful balance between breakthrough and surrender. In pushing and releasing. Contraction and Expansion. Concentration and Relaxation.
Make sure to get both.
I'm telling you, because I'm naturally inclined to your style and took me too long to realize this. Things become easier, you lack the flowing ease. Others have too much flow, they need to break through, but you need to dance and forget, surrender and cry in a pool of release

Yeah go ahead why not? You feel the calling
Learn from as many teachers as you can, contrast and expose yourself to a wide range of spiritual experiences and paths. Each one reveals a facet of the beloved One

He is indeed. I remember him saying once: you keep outsourcing your inner work to me because I do a good job.
He has the ability to work in you as much as you are connected to him, anything can happen from kundalini awakenings, powers, changing your inner space, shifts in consciousness, brutal karmic cleansing...
Moreover, all the work does not leave the system till it's completion. Years after having an initiation it suddendly starts unfolding again and ending the process. It kind of gets stored, the question is not "if", but "when". This has been specially touching.
I'm happy that more people are sharing their personal experience

Yes there is a slope of development and maturity for religions also, as it is with individual stages it is with colective stages over time.
10 hours ago, BojackHorseman said:2) In the same idea, I tend to be drawn/fascinated by older religions such as sumerian (which, by the way, isn't it weird that it didn't survive since it's one of the older ones? What actually makes a religion stay more than another one on the collective level?), but I also shake my head trying to get aways from the shiny spell of "ancient magic old things", cause I feel like this might not be the truth, and maybe we tend to see it as such because we've been taught that older things are kind of more respectable in a way?
It is the inability to mantain it's original subtance translated to the winds of each generation which ends up killing them. The oldest living tradition which is hinduism, more of a compilation of religions than a single religions, has this principle of: "Unyielding defense of tradition and tireless innovation." Which translates as preserve what has worked in the past and continuosly strive for improvement. Also older is not better but it has been more proof tested against the fire of experience and life.
10 hours ago, BojackHorseman said:3) Are religions just stories to control people from fear, and if so, does that mean than the "religion" should be avoided and be replaced by science? (which obviously, could be totally wrong as it has been in the past, but I mean, science as we know it anyways. If religion is just a control tool without any basis, our guidelines might as well just be more down to earth sciences)
Religion unfolds in diverse dimensions, birthing from mysticism, encompassing sociocultural norms, and traversing through the realms of architecture, food and music. It's a very multifaceted and rich expression. Frorm the side of sociocultural norms, when it has been linked with authority and politics, we have seen many corruptions and evil making. About the science vs religion debate you should get very comfortable with development psychology models like Spiral Dynamics or Susanne's Cook-Greuter ego development research; to really make sense and put into proper context the science vs religion discussions.10 hours ago, BojackHorseman said:4) How do I even chose a religion to dive into? There are many big ones, but the number of believers doesn't mean they're the right ones (just look at what huge number of people believe and do everyday).
Try what calls you with a child like curiosity and playfulness. Don't get ideologic, just paths and tools you are trying.
10 hours ago, BojackHorseman said:5) What is religion to you?
Religion is a technology made to access certain states of consciousness.

@Princess Arabia You are femenine so take into account that you are waking up from a woman's biological and psychological system. This may include more emotional labour than a man waking up, which will have other areas of work. Take this into account when people answer you, as most people in awakening are masculine and as a matter of fact, we don't have direct experience of being consciousness manifessting through a woman's body and that certainly makes a distance in advice giving and life experiences. Specially in topics where femenine is naturally more involved like emotions.

I don't know anything about this topic but hope you make it through

If we are all connected, then isn't it normal for this to occur especially if I'm getting more connected to my inner being, because I am. The more I delve into this work the more I feel connected to Source.
Shadow Work is not done to repress feeling but to fully feel and process the most repressed and obscure feelings in one's psyche.
THere's nothing wrong with being sensitive and empathetic, it's a blessing! but it has to be done in the proper context. It has to come from the space of powerfullness and not from powerlessness. Imagine feelings like waves, when your mind and consciousness is like a bathtub, when little waves come all the water starts falling outside and you can even drown yourself. Imagine this waves in a swimming pool, now in a lake, now in the beach, now in the middle of the ocean. In the same way, your empathy will be able to be expressed in the oceanic deepths of your being, you will not be shaken or want to avoid them as you said earlier, because you will be grounded in a sky like mind.
QuoteIf we are all from the one Source, why is it unnatural for me to feel this way and have to feel as if something is wrong with me because I have the ability to feel other's pain.
It is not in being sensitive and feeling, it is in the triggering that comes from that ability. Being able to be empathetic and then focusing that tool on others pain and then that triggering inner pain and turmoil. It is when the triggering comes where there might be shadow work to do. In the future you will be able to live the pain and joy from others, without inner wounds spilling out. As it come it leaves the system, like images in a screen. Being empathetic is a huge gift you haven't mastered it yet, why? Because it may be triggering your shadow.
I hope I made myself clear, ask if there's something hanging out.

It has been so. The Ruetir (US), OrientalDaily (Malaysia), TickerTV News (US), Koldanews (Senegal) have removed their newspaper articles.
Republic World TV has also removed 3 defamatory videos from it's YouTube platform. In last two days, YouTube has taken down 17 more Deep-Fake content targeting Nithyananda, and thus now blocked a total of 100+ such false defamatory videos.
It seems that finally things are turning around. We'll see how things continue to unfold in the future.
This, if anything, can teach us how easily media can be biased and false, propagating arround the world from newspaper to newspaper. Fooling even the Washington Post, that after further investigation realised they had fallen in a Disinformation Campaign. From that point on, as the giant newspaper made a step back, all the other newspapers did so. It's just so low quality this whole media system it's honestly very sad. They create narratives and worldviews out of thin air and then people cannot distinguish that from reality. I'm pretty sure, you the one reading, is still very reluctant about all of these. The damage already done by the media is very hard to reverse. Just cultivate an awareness of these mechanics within yourself and the world.

Lol was going to write it. I still have not entered deeply in her teachings because I feel I still have to work through other things before, but she's very unique, extremely unique. It is said to be one of the few to go beyond God-Mode, she then had to be taken care of, otherwise she would have become a beggar and maybe also die.
Also obviously Sri Anandamayi Ma:
Honorable mentions: Hildegarda, Hazrat Babajan, helena blavatsky, mother meera, Sister_Mary_of_the_Divine_Heart, Lal Ded...

I think Yimpa was spot on here. I recommend you to do shadow work. This playlist can be a good entering point. It's good to remember that shadow work cannot be done with personal development nor with awakenings. It is its own unique area that needs to be worked on. This has been confirmed by Ken Wilber and many others. Shadow Work is a must, no matter how awake and no matter how SD advanced you are, you will be doing shadow work but in an extremely inneficient way, side effects of side effects. Shadow Work is the biggest bottleneck for the development of this forum and specially in the spirituality area. It is very much recommended to work on it directly and with appropiate tools

I was in the Vatican contemplating this two thousand years old statue:
I looked at it. The artistic perfection, the pain and struggle in their faces, the vicious snake suffocating and bitting...
Suddendly, like a lighting bolt, I stuttered: It's all the same stone, all the same stone...
All the dramas in the world are made from the same stone. You're just too engrossed with the form, with your biased form of what you call love, then you think I am pointing to another form, but it's in the Stone the real love and freedom.
Let's consider another case. Reality is a universal theatre play, God playing all the roles. In the same way, the actor seems to suffer and be happy and all the spectrum in the scale. But it's just a play, a play of the fluid Stone for it's own entertainment and sake.
We are talking of Jesus Christ in the cross style of Love.

3 hours ago, Princess Arabia said:So IOW what you're saying is don't question the bad things that are happening. Let it be. Love it all. In regards to the person with the comment, they need to understand this and not question these atrocious things that are happening because it is God's expression of love. Is that what you're basically saying in so many words. Trying to understand
Not at all, I'm not saying that. There are so many degrees to the game, to each principle of reality.
Love is not concerned or bounded to the DOING domain, this must be understood. To do good or to do bad, to question or not to question, to give love or not to give it. This is skin deep only, valuable at one point but superficial.
Love operates in the BEING realm. Existance itself, reality itself, consciousness, aliveness, awakeness, direct experience, thisness...
For something to BE it must be LOVE. Beingness=Love
You are trying to deduce your way to it, but that's not gonna do it because this is advanced. You need to wake up to what existence is. Then wake up to what love is. Both at a deep enough level, then you need to have a simultaneous & glorious awakening of both facets, Love & Reality. Then make sense of the peak and follow to all of it's ramifications and implications in all domains. Clear your shadow and bias in a myriad of experiences that trigger you... Not your Rupert Spira stage green individual.
Also consider this, if you did not have a sense of personal-human-separate "I", there would be no problem, at all.

“In God’s kingdom everything is possible. He is omnipotent. It is none of your business to question what He does for anyone. Why should He always do what pleases you? He is the Lord. What He does - whatsoever — is all for your real good: this is the attitude to be taken.”
~ Anandamayi Ma -
If love doens't include pain and suffering it is not love. Love is all inclusive, so inclusive that it doesn't care to do what it wants. Unbiased love, loving both opposites. Simetrical Love, equanimous love, cold love, brutal love, merciless love.
I mean this topic is such a huge entanglement of human psychology, shadow, ego, metaphysical understanding, existential love and awakening that it just can't be fully expressed in a few forum answers. You will have to discover it, beyond bias and for yourself, what love is.
For the moment I have this quote for you:
“In God’s kingdom everything is possible. He is omnipotent. It is none of your business to question what He does for anyone. Why should He always do what pleases you? He is the Lord. What He does - whatsoever — is all for your real good: this is the attitude to be taken.”

Warning: Take care of your survival, no matter how awake you are; your body needs to perform certain activities, which need to be done without omission.
Having said this, write a book if you feel like it. I know a close friend which is doing it and has found great meaning in such a pursuit. Also don't worry about the pointlessness of writting a Magnus Opus about Reality. It came to my mind Saint Thomas Aquinas which one day after a mystical experience (awakening) abruptly stopped all writting. When someone asked why such a change in his behaviour he answered:
QuoteAfter what the Lord deigned to reveal to me on Saint Nicholas' day, everything I have written seems like straw to me, and therefore, I can no longer write anything more.
So whatever, do what you want and enjoy this year my friend, be a leaf dancing in the wind of God

There is nothing in this universe that may be treated with disregard or contempt.
He acts His divine play in infinite ways, through infinite forms, and in an infinite variety of settings.
~ Words of Anandamayi Ma.

QuoteTo know Ma is to achieve Ma and to become Ma. Ma means Atma (the Self) – Ma means permeated. Self permeated in Self – the Self-principle. Verily THAT what it is. To attain the form of Knowledge, Self, and Shiva, that means (to become) that which is ever existent. The Atma of this body is everybody’s Atma. Ma cannot do without anybody.
~ Sri Anandamayi Ma
The last sentence remembers me of the saying, if just a speck of dust missed in the universe, it would collapse. The above quote is very condensed, read it many times to get what is being said. -
Yes please. Such a whole in his teachings. He's been promising for years to make the Shadow Work Video

Weird things can happen in the outside world when you change your inner state & space.
I experience a lot of alarms going on in my area, from cars to houses, when I'm doing some heavy tripping.
There is no such distintion between inner and outter, when you arrange the inside, the outside also arranges.
What is inside is like what is outside. What is outside is the same that is within.
