  1. @TheSomeBody We're not saying you should be in a relationship, we're not saying you shouldn't be in a relationship, that would be denying a part of reality. Life isn't about reaching some deep enlightened state. it's about experiencing life fully right now in the present moment! (aka deep enlightened state) The only problem here is you're not conscious of this consistently all the time! The only thing you're forgetting or distracting yourself is from this insight! The idea/thought that "you should or shouldn't be in a relationship" is the TRUE distraction you should be conscious of. This belief/idea that say's "women/relationships will distract me" is itself the problem. I hear you say "I know! that's why I need to pursue enlightenment." But you don't realize yet that just by asking these questions you're still fundamentally dependent on something other than yourself to give you the insight or enlightenment that you seek. Practically speaking, being in a relationship could distract you from this insight, but also realize that it's really just you keeping you from your own enlightenment in the end, always, it's never anything other than yourself.
  2. @Bane ?? @SFRL I'm just referring to all this back and forth between what the stages are/other models and where @SuperLuigi is at in them.

  4. Ever since I've realized that experiencing psychedelics should be a main focus I've felt I’ve deeply plateaued my growth in terms of spiritual development. Looking at Leo and everyone else who has tried them has showed me this experience has gotta happen and what I've told myself unconsciously is that basically “I can't grow unless I've tried them.” That's the impression others have left on me after hearing about their profound experiences and I'm not blaming Leo or anyone for this, but since then I've felt like I can't grow unless I get a hold of some psychedelics. But now that I'm aware this type of thinking has been going on I already feel better about it, I'm writing this because I want to help people be more aware if they're having any of this type of thinking going on, because I haven't been aware of it ever since Leo's first 5 meo break through. So I ask, do you feel like your spiritual development has plateaued a lot because of not being able to obtain psychedelics? I know it sucks cause everyone is really, really quiet about how to obtain them, almost a little too quiet (yeah, fuck you guys btw lol) BUT don't use it as an excuse to not grow yourself because someone like Leo says it will take you 20 years to experience real spiritual growth, yes, it might be true, but don't let that dishearten you like it did me. So thank you guys and fuck you guys for the hard won lesson :), love you. So it's time to get back on track and doing what needs to get done to grow myself spiritually both with psychedelics and without. I have no clue on how I'm gonna get psychedelics but I got some leads that I'm working on.
  5. @SuperLuigi Focus on being more selfless vs being selfish. Focus more on compassion and understanding for other people, try to step into their shoes, help them help you. Don't use this as an excuse or a limiting belief to not improve yourself just because it's hard to change, change fundamentally goes against your entire life agenda, your natural desires and your ego, it will be the hardest thing you'll ever change in your life.
  6. Sorry I'm just at a lost for words when seeing a post on something that has little to no application to me, so I posited the good ole classic self help tip of an arrogant persons solution of humility.
  7. This ones for you @DocHoliday "Bitch be humble, sit down."
  8. This doesn't just apply to spiritual growth or psychedelics. This applies to everything you do in your life, you make choices (or don't) and you live with them, that's the curse (or beauty) of being alive.
  9. I think of it as just a tool used to become the best version of yourself. I don't need it, I will never rely on it, it's just a tool. Simple as that. You don't got the tool, great. you got the tool, even better.
  10. This is normal when you're becoming more and more aware of your thoughts. Just recognize your monkey chatter and how it's over thinking everything. Do meditation, when the thoughts come up, just let them pass. For more detail -->
  11. Interesting, I definitely will do one outside at a secluded place so if people see me it doesn't look like I'm pretending to be a fish out of water ?
  12. Mmm, excited to try this technique when I get home from work. I think only doing it one time is a little quick to dismiss it. At the very, very least do it for a week straight. Was being outside making it harder to focus?
  13. Personally I could use some dead seriousness, I don't give a fuck about anything, might give me some drive.
  14. "Life is a totally pointless game that must be played with dead seriousness." - Leo
  15. Sounds like you really need to look into this. Do you feel sort of helpless? What do you think is the root issue? where this could have possibly stemmed from? How do you feel when listening to sentimental songs? Feel like you're having a midlife crisis? Nihilism? Hopelessness? Lack life purpose/direction? Life feels like a house of cards?
  16. Makes sense. I mean his name IS VANISH. he just happens to vanish.. kind of ironic.
  17. That was the whole point of my post. I really do think 5-MeO or any other psychedelic will help me progress over this massive plateau I've been on.
  18. As everyone is saying, he's talking about external success. Not Non duality/Enlightenment.
  19. Quote from him. If it's true, he wasn't doing it for Truth, he was doing it out of spite/revenge of his family and used spiritual teachings as an excuse to follow through on that, hence Leo's comment --> But that's the problem with giving advice to people you really don't know, it's pure, utter conjecture. "The minute someone thinks they know what's true about you. they're in fantasy land. " - Matt Khan This is why it's important to be mindful of the advice or information one gives to other people, everything one says and does will have an effect on someone else (unless they're conscious of what I'm saying here, conscious of their own interpretations and filtering processes).
  20. @nightrider1435 @Power I want big daddy like 5-MeO and I really doubt any around me has even a inkling to what that is, so, I'm taking some artistic liberties to make that happen but thanks for the info!
