  1. I'm sitting here now looking over an angry ocean as the waves come crashing in. And I think, what am I compared to the awesome forces at hand? Do I really know anything at all?
  2. When I'm aware of awareness it opens up a larger headspace that is normally not directly experienced. It's not that awareness isn't always present, just woefully unappreciated for it's depth and beauty.
  3. I base myself more on my future theses days, so that view can shift.
  4. Great question! Everybody has a core person. Self evident here on the forum. How deep does each core really go? Is there an essence of that self that precedes- proceeds it? Or is it a one trick pony?
  5. @abrakamowse Yea, on occasion. It becomes clearly evident that everything is where it should be. As if anything that needs to be know is already known. Asking any question seems like talking about old news (so to speak). It's as if the universe is saying "I got this- don't worry about it!". "I'm way ahead of you" This may sound a little weird but after my first newbie experience of that, I had a feeling that, it was like a main central hub of sorts where everything in existence was known.. Past, present and future where one. And all thoughts, questions, answers and movement within time where happening in a realm that was slightly removed from this "central command hub" where everything was already well taken care of. Up until that moment I had only experienced the outer part where movement, questions, doubts, thought, impermanent, ect existed and never realizing that there is something that actually does exist behind the scenes that already knows everything. And at the same time doesn't give a shit either. True intelligence. So that was my day of awakening from the point of the limited questioning ego that doesn't really need to know anything. But still, do I stop asking questions -No. Mental masturbation!
  6. I'll second that! What a negative/ controlling way to start an interview. When he said "you don't know what I know" I would of asked Dr. Phil if he experienced a spiritual awakening himself or was his point of view conceptual only. Huge difference!!!
  7. There is a level of consciousness beyond mind where all questions are totally redundant and as absurd as painting a red rose -red.
  8. Yes. And two sounds can also clash and create a shadow.
  9. Count me in. 2:00 pm Eastern US it is . I have family coming for Easter dinner. I asked them to arrive after 3:00 so that gives me time for an hour sit If there is no set point of focus yet, I'll be mindful of the collective consciousness while sending love into the cosmos.
  10. I can't really say what they experience first hand but Bentinho says infinity you can only "intuit" because it's beyond all that can be known. So that leans more toward a state of being, in my book.
  11. Same here. Bentinho Massaro on the other hand does (most of the time) and Adyashanti (always).
  12. I heard there's a new app for awakening predictability time. Enter your, age, sex, country of origin and level of ego and the app. gives you the exact time and location that enlightenment will happen. It's like a Spiritual GPS.
  13. This is a little off the subject but that reminded me of a scene in the movie "Tombstone"
  14. Your in it now! That silent space of stillness that opens up after meditation is it. It's very subtle so it can be easily over looked. But it's always right here. And that is what you are. Sometimes after meditation that silence/stillness can become so thick and present and full that it feels as if you could almost scoop it out of thin air. Your in an ocean! You are the ocean! The ocean of awareness that is existence. Most people take awareness for granted. Don't make that mistake! Cherish it every moment. It's magical!
  15. @Barna Did everything suddenly become a 3D High Definition Technicolor Love Shack?
  16. Haha, I know how you feel. I'm going to need more proof that reality doesn't exist before I step in front of a moving bus. I knew someone years ago who put reality to the test while doing lsd. It was quite horrific!
  17. @Staples That's good stuff! After reading that I'm sitting here by an open door listening to a bird chirping in a nearby tree. But than I think, the bird's chirp I know only from sound that effects my ears as electrical impulse is sent to my brain/mind. The only way I know the outside world is indirectly. So where is the bird really located? And in relationship to what? Here's another good one.you look into a telescope at an object 250,000 light years away. Your literally looking back into time 250,000years. Some of what you are seeing, doesn't even exist any more. But you can see it in front of you. What does that tell you about light energy and consciousness?
  18. @Annetta That is ego talking, the illusion of what you are. Ego is consciousness in motion contained as the experience of time and space and precludes consciousness at rest as infinite awareness that resides beyond time and space. You are bearing the weight of the illusion of a limited self and carrying it through life, And even projecting it onto death. "Nothing but blackness for eternity" = the poor little ego without it's home of time and space, things and events, this and that ect. ect. Yea, that is scary- to the ego. Take a watch, it's going to be a l-o-n-g eternity! Either that or your ego will be back for more. You are infinite consciousness first and an ego/self second. haha it's not even second, it's an illusion that can only be sustained within the limitations of time and space because the ego itself is a limitation so it feels perfectly at home. But why not be infinite consciousness first as witnessing and appreciating the temporary experience through the physical body of all that exists? Than all this is becomes something amazing that just happens. But not happening to somebody but just happening. Your true self is the source of all of it but owns none of it.
