  1. The ultimate realization. But can one really live like that? Or would you choose to live 'just this close'. Finding a 'sweet spot' so to speak.
  2. Yes, it's a process for the most part. But for some it can happen spontaneously. But that's very rare. The "process" is really about breaking down the limitations we set on ourselves. In truth everyone is already awakened.
  3. @Twega Sure thing. The most important take-away I got from watching the video was when he said it's a matter of where (in your mind) you place your awareness.
  4. Observer and observed arise mutually. One could not exist without the other.
  5. @Twega Saw this interesting video and thought of your post............
  6. Exactly! I have MS and gravity/weight is wreaking havoc on me. Just moving from point A to point B feels like I'm swimming against the current and it's exhausting. Before the illness I never gave a thought to the degree muscles need to work to counteract against weight and gravity. But now that my muscular ability is somewhat diminished, I'm acutely aware of gravity's effects.
  7. Like: it's infinite diversity and intelligence. Dislike: it's density/solidity.
  8. Adios terra firma. The fear of losing one's tether to the physical.
  9. There are levels of consciousness where reality no longer exists, yet something still remains. Something that is changeless. It is your 'pristine' state. This is where Absolute Truth resides. Reality (change/experience) depends upon it. But it is not dependent on reality.

  11. What do you think about Leo's take on Islam??
  12. That which changes is not real. What is real does not change. -Nisargadatta
  13. @Someone here Read the forum guidelines. Just a friendly warning- no points this time for splintering the community.
  14. From an egoic perspective it stems from a need to control.
  15. @KatiesKarma This short vid popped up randomly on YT just before reading your post and I wanted to share it with you. Synchronicity?
  16. Which of these statements is closer to being everything?
  17. @Rigel Yea that would be f'd up for sure.
  18. Just speak softly and don't do anything to piss her off.
  19. Take a quantum leap from localized consciousness to non-localized consciousness. You can do it now. Are you familiar with quantum physics? The double slit experiment? It proves that when a wave is observed it collapses into a particle. Think about what that means. Your observing (through conscious awareness) is creating physical reality and all that goes with it. Spend some time in that frame of mind and tell me your consciousness didn't expand. A guy like Peter Ralston knows this. When he performs karate, he is aware of every motion as it moves through space-time. How? Because he is observing from the non-localized quantum field. To warm up for a competition he probably just sits in total silence and becomes one with it. Edit: Just listened to Peter Ralston, which I haven't done in years, and he refers to the quantum field that I speak of as "the absolute" and localized consciousness as "the relative". I know we are speaking dualistically here but when each is known they will come full circle and merge into one.
  20. I do the opposite. The day-to-day routine stuff is grounded in consciousness.
