@Razard86 Yes, I have been studying it for several years and working on attaining higher degrees of conscious creating. All of us are creating, but most of the time it's happening unconsciously on auto pilot.

@Consilience I agree. In the most expanded states I have reached I didn't feel human anymore.

So would visuals on psychedelic trips fall into the category of ego imagination? I would assume they do since they don't change physical reality. I am fascinated by these different levels of imagination. Does anyone have any good resources that go into more depth on this subject?

@Life-Hacking Interesting insights. Thank you for sharing! When I have expanded my awareness to the point of becoming God, I never felt any sense of being alone or being lonely. Those human emotions did not exist for me. My desire to create came from immense joy, love, endless creativity and curiosity.

The more my awareness expanded I realized others were me. Increased compassion and love was the natural evolution of realizing this. It depends of what your definition of illusory is. My direct experience has shown me everything is God/consciousness and has awareness. That is not my definition of illusory. I treat people the way I would want to be treated. I have reverence for life in all of it's different expressions.

@Leo Gura Does the administration method affect recall of the experience? You have excellent recall of your 5-Meo trips while some people don't.

@spinderella You're welcome! Yes, I can see my body. My OBE's began spontaneously after a lot disciplined spiritual practice to expand my awareness. It's no different than if you were looking at a family member in bed or relaxing in a chair, except it's you. It's quite frightening at first. Often I thought I had died. I would move closer to check if I was still breathing, once I saw that I was I would calm down. I wasn't trying to go out of body, it was a side effect of the spiritual practices to awaken. It ended up being incredibly valuable though in answering many questions I had about consciousness and what happens after we die. I could write a book based on everything I saw and learned. I'm not sure what that was. Your consciousness was still very expanded so it was probably affecting your perception of having a body.

@spinderella Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your experience. 5-Meo is very effective at raising your consciousness to infinity and eliminating the ego within minutes. I think this is very different than what most of us will experience upon natural physical death of our body. When I have encountered beings during OBE's their personality and ego was still very much intact. From what I have seen after death the majority of us are identical or only slightly more expanded in awareness than what we had while incarnated on earth. 5-Meo is very special in that it quickly elevates your consciousness to the absolute. This doesn't automatically happen upon natural death.

@Regan I think it depends on how much spirituality is a part of your life and what other aspects you both have in common. Spirituality is a huge part of my life, so if they had no interest in it at all or were a materialist, we wouldn't be a good match. Open mindedness is important to me. I would date someone who wasn't particularly spiritual if they were open minded and we had chemistry and compatibility in other areas. I think the chances of a relationship lasting long term are much better though if you share similar spiritual or religious views.

Have any forum members ever done 5-meo with a partner? I would be very interested in hearing about your experience.

For those of you who have had break through psychedelic experiences with a friend, partner or group, I would be interested in hearing what paradoxes you may have discovered. For example, becoming one another or having the awareness you are imagining each other. Exploring consciousness with a partner or group is a fascinating way to get more insight into it's unlimited nature.

@Forza21 I have reached levels of expanded awareness that made life on earth much less appealing, but I never felt suicidal. Some insights are can certainly be challenging to integrate, but if you are feeling suicidal perhaps the ego mind is distorting your perceptions or insights. As far as should we seek to awaken or not? For me it wasn't really a question. I had a burning desire and curiosity since I was a child to understand truth, consciousness and reality. I have no regrets for following this path. I still find it endlessly fascinating.

I have moved closer to this. I am not sure I would want to awaken so far that I lose having any preferences though.
