There is no deep sleep, it doesn't happen. There's no gap because there is no you character to go anywhere or be anywhere or be anything. There is only reality. Hence no gap. Not weird excuses that "you are aware of yourself" or w.e. Atman is a shitty teaching. Misleading, empowers ego, causes weird questions about deep sleep and death. You're already dead. What is existing is redness, violin-sound-ness, tasteness, touchness, thoughts, ALL senses. Are you able to actually comprehend what I mean when saying that reality is made of, for ex, redness, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO person viewing it. The "thought" there is an I does not mean there is an actual character there where you believe it to be. Exactly the same: The thought there is an I IS THE THOUGHT THERE IS AN I. It is not thought by anyone or anything. Or observed by anyone or anything. There is nothing to it BUT that. There is no ghost in the machine. The ghost in the machine is not secretly everything. The ghost in the machine is a sense, idea, thought. Redness is a sense, idea, thought. There isn't actually any character sensing it, and it is not made of any God character. Do you see what I mean?

Say a thought, a feeling... Sensation... (Some sensations are weird, like the sense of distance. Because the sense of what 10 foot is can change to seem shorter or longer but there isn't a word for that alteration). The added idea is that a thought can't be thought without a you. That there MUST be a thinker in order for a thought to be, or a see-er of red for redness to be. The for some reason difficulty of understanding that reality is made of redness and soundness and thought without seer, hearer, or thinker. That the redness and soundness and thought is the ONLY element present.

It already doesn't have a you. If a self entity was actually some permanent and existent thing, how is it possible for it to actually completely 100% go away, even for a split second? It is in fact pure thoughts and ideas. The color red exists, but doesn't have an "I" by default. The color red is the color red. There's nothing extra hanging on to that. You're adding it, with an idea that there is such an entity looking at it.

I ought to have realized since all senses lose positioning. But vision is very persistent in the sense of position, and doesn't often go away even very deep in a trip, it still usually feels like the sight is in front of you... Even when all other senses aren't happening anywnere anymore. The "in front of" sense is when the I appears, because that is when there can be the idea of this thing is in front of "me". The me being where the entire ego generates itself.

The I part isn't necessary. That element is not only the fact of being-ness, it's the "passenger" thought; the thought that there is a character back here (named "I"), which is viewing reality. There isn't actually a character back here. You realize, all of that I-ness is created with thoughts, feelings, and ideas. The plant you are looking at doesn't actually need a "self", doesn't need to be viewed by anyone. When you have said previously, that the sight of a tree IS the sight of a tree. AKA completely direct. Not a you then atoms then the sight of the tree. Just the sight of the tree. There isn't any self character necessary. It is possible for the sense of there even being such a thing as a self to go away. Which ought not be possible, when existence is only made of the image of the plant and not of a you and an image, or an image made of anything other than the image (i.e. not made of you, and without a self element). So that entire portion is not actually vital to existence at all.
