  1. She grew up Christian, then got into new age and non-duality and then went back to Christianity. Religious programming can go very deep and not easy to let go of.
  2. There's also a solution for people that don't have access to food: Watch videos about food.
  3. He's lying. Arrogance is based in delusion, it's a belief in one's superiority. You can't use it to cut through bs.
  4. There is no mind in direct experience.
  5. Is it possible that the idea that you need an ego to survive is just a story you tell yourself to keep being an ego?
  6. It's not a temporary experience or something you remember after you've had an experience.
  7. Only when feelings are intertwined with thoughts they obscure your vision. That's what beliefs are. Feelings by themselves and thoughts by themselves have no power to obscure your vision. It's when they're in a bundle and unconscious.
  8. I think this is just 5-meo wearing off and unconscious tendencies taking hold.
  9. Bentinho at least had a legit awakening, he just got seduced by fame and status and failed to progress further into dissolving his ego. Leo on the other hand didn't even have an awakening.
  10. Recently I've heard good things about Rob Burbea and his book Seeing that Frees. I'm going to buy that book.
  11. That's your belief, not truth. You believe Leo when he says he's the most enlightened person on the planet.
  12. You don't remove deep unconscious beliefs through affirmations. But you could use statements like "I am ..." to trigger what it is in your body/mind that doesn't agree with the statement. Then inquire into that. For example, you say "I am confident" and then look where in your body there's some sort of resistance/tension/uncomfortable sensations and hold that in awareness, see what other thoughts and sensations come up and hold them in awareness one by one until they dissolve. Repeat that until nothing comes up.
  13. I can speculate that it's a way to avoid dealing with one's personal issues.
  14. I honestly don't understand why some people care so much about aliens when pretty much none of us have mastered being human yet.
  15. Weed strengthens the mind/body connection without overwhelming you with visions and otherworldly stuff, which is great for doing inquiry/shadow work. Simply getting high to enjoy things more is a waste of a good tool, imo, and what leads to addiction.
  16. It could. I still wouldn't recommend it. It feels pretty heavy duty to me and lasts a long time.
  17. It made me feel like a robot. I think it's not the kind of productivity people generally look for. Good for tasks that are purely analytical and repetitive. Not good for creative tasks. Doesn't increase motivation but does help with productivity.
  18. I believe trying to forgive others is a wrong practice, which is why it rarely works. The only one I need to forgive is myself. The rest falls into place.
  19. Benzos are the best for that. Just knowing you can kill the trip in case it becomes too much can give you that extra feeling of safety which can in turn lead to willingness to go deeper.
  20. I wouldn't do it. I think it's a bad idea to mix active kundalini with 5-meo.
  21. Agree with Razard86, you need big balls to do the stuff Leo does.
  22. Since distance itself is an illusion the visual field is not at any distance or outside the eyes.
  23. "I have to figure everything out myself and I won't listen to anybody" is just another mind game. There's always someone out there you could learn from.
  24. I didn't think we were talking about legal systems and whether he broke any laws of his time. If the criminal code of the United States (or wherever you live) didn't classify rape as an offence, would it be okay?
