  1. Only you can inspect the belief or suppressed material that the dream represents, because it is buried in your Consciousness. Running away from someone or something may reflect avoidance tendency, or a belief that you are weak and so incapable of handling some matter or conflict. You can try to "remember" the dream and try to glean whether there is a belief, a thought, or a feeling that is "assimilated" in it.

@Kksd74628 Yes I understood what you explained . But why others say they have their own pov? If I am the only pov that exist and others are figments of my imagination . Then why others say they are having their own POV and can tell everything about me. ?

Other pov's is just Consciousness being trapped within the dream of believing to be a self which as a life story of its own that is played in relation to others. Or in other words, it is Consciousness playing the game of being individual in a world of separated people. When Consciousness "wakes up", so to speak, it is revealed that it was just a game. All the so called "POV's" are just Consciousness ability to trick itself into believing it is separate.

There are no others, only Consciousness (YOU) that plays with itself in different forms. Even though this explanation is as clear as it gets, without "getting it" on "awakening-level", it will remain just intellectual understanding in the mind. With the direct experience of Truth, it is revealed that you are simply tricking and playing with yourself forever. But again, do not embrace this chatter as a thought structure, a belief, or any mental activity of any kind. It does no good to hold the Truth on a conceptual level. YOU should become directly Conscious of this, which can only be done if you dismiss everything that was communicated to you by others and be open to the possibility that you can become conscious of the Truth for yourself.

  3. Enlightenment is not about frequency, vibration, body, mind, or emotion. So this can be very misleading for whomever "seeks" enlightenment. That is not to say, that Enlightenment does not affect those. Deep awakening will affect everything, and may transform the mind deeply. But every change in the relative due to awakening is only a side effect, and not the awakening itself

  4. Nice explanation, thanks!

Notice that every perception is illusory. Perceptive faculties are shaped around the survival of the organism, not for the purpose of "perceiving" the Truth. In other words, our senses provide us with distinctions that are relevant to our persistence as biological life form, and not with direct nature of what is. Illusion is an essential aspect of survival and life. In fact, the more complex the life form is, the greater is the illusion. Consider what is the experience of a unicellular organism, which require only a very simple perception in order to maintain life.

I think the reason people vomit is because they cant stomach God yet. Its so ridiculous inmense. I cant even begin to try to describe what I saw!

Vomit when? On Ayahuasca? I thought this as well, that grasping the Truth on a deep level can cause such reaction in the body-mind. However, I read that the vine contains substance that provoke the vomiting, and that the indigenous forest people used it to cleanse parasites out of the digestion system. But it is only hearsay, so who knows.

  6. To whom nothing seems real? No other minds? There is no such a thing as mind at all. There is only Consciousness, and within can appear the distinction "mind", which usually refer to the perception of thought activities. But it is all Consciousness, so its not that "there are no other minds" - there never was any mind to begin with. The belief that mind has some existence of its own is the dream that trap Consciousness, even after awakening.

It is time to stop playing mind games. A spiritual mind has a momentum to model Consciousness, so he is trying to "understand" its own nature which is a completely futile endeavor. So the only reason your mind creates a depressed disposition toward life, is because the awakening isn't deep enough, and identification with thought is still occurring. Even the belief in solipsism can create this disposition - "I am the only one that exist, bla bla bla". Well, it is true that only Consciousness "isses", and every other "thing" is a form of Consciousness. But when it is played over and over again in the mind, that is just more mind games - the mind is not the only one that exist, because it doesn't exist to begin with. That is to say, it doesn't exist on its own right, it derives its existence from Consciousness, which is the nature of mind (and of all of existence).

So yes, if you are going to keep this mental chatter of "I am the only one that exist" within the mind, you will probably continue to feel depressed because now not only you are still identified with mind processes, you also believe that this mind is the only thing that exists in reality. This is both false and not a recommended belief to hold if you want to relate to life and others in a powerful and effective way. Remember, the feelings in the body will always reflect the content of the mind.

I suppose my issue is less that I haven't seen that but that presently it reasserts itself as soon as I fumble in my continued practice. It seems as though I can't properly transition to the other shore without the habit being properly eroded. It just feels hard to tell if the necessary view is really being discerned or if I'm running in circles, and it has become extremely tiresome.

Discerning views is about creating mind models or emotional states, so walking down this road is indeed running in circles. If you have seen beyond mind, which is where you already are and always have been, consider remaining "there" longer.

To keep things fairly straightforward, I've been "seeking" for the better part obsessively for around 6 years now. It's come full circle where I can discern on a rational basis that there are no others or particular, but my life for all it has never seemed worse off.

Concluding on a rational basis that others do not exist is just about imposing more concept on reality as assuming that there are others. Even though the first will probably provide different mind and emotion disposition towards others, it won't be "the real deal". When it comes to Consciousness, you can bargain for an alternative model of mind. Forget knowledge and rational, and you'll "see" that everything is just YOU, including the body-mind that is usually referred to as "I" and the body-minds of "others".

Keep in mind, there is nothing to seek because you are already that. It is more about relieving the self-contraction that binds Consciousness to a conceptual identity. The self-contraction is a bit like a gravitational field. If YOU aren't seeing that the body-mind is only an appearance, it will pull you back to the illusion reality of mind. When it is seen deeply and inquired through and through the YOU aren't the appearance of the body-mind, nor any other appearance, stability in Consciousness is realized. Remember: mind will never stabilize in Consciousness. Mind is an expression or function of Consciousness, so no concept or model of reality held in the mind could represent it's nature. The mind can "grasp" or hold the idea that it will never realize it's own nature, which may help in reducing the apatite for more knowledge consuming. Nevertheless, it has to be seen deeply that mind is just an appearance.

  9. The Truth is so beautiful. It is only your mind now that is whimpering in distress in front of it. It is really ok, just let go of what ever the mind is trying to make of the Truth. You remain human and you can still play the game of life after deep awakening, without all the neuroticism and narcissism that comes with the belief that you are a separated person. Just enjoy.

Awakening and sleeping all happen within the mind, so yes, it can have degrees.  Imagine being under anesthesia where the mind is "offline," so to speak.  Is spiritual awakening even possible in such a state?  Having your mind "blown" is still a state of mind.

No, I wasn't referring to physical awakening. I was referring to Awakening in the context of the nature of reality. And no, in deep sleep you are not mistaking YOU for mind/perception, so no "spiritual awakening" can occur. Having your mind blown may be a state of mind, but it comes as a result, a side-effect, of deep awakening.

    Quote

Consciousness, Infinity, Love, God, or whatever you want to call it, never sleeps, wakes, or realizes.  It is always completely free of such.  Only the mind suffers ignorance and only knowledge can remedy that.  The sickness and the cure happen on the same level...the mind.

No, Consciousness can misidentify itself with it's content, which is equaled to being a sleep (or forgetful), so to speak. Indeed, it is never "tainted" by its content. However, it can (and does) mistaken itself to be something that isn't its innate nature, but only a manifestation of it (appearances). Awakening is the revelation that all appearance is illusory - only a function, a manifestation, an expression, of Consciousness.

@GreenWoods It appears to me that is  conflating mind with consciousness.  If something is absolute, it cannot become more or less absolute.  The mind has states.  Consciousness is that to which states appear.

I understand your consideration, which I shared as well. But it is revealed that there are different "depths" to how Conscious you can become of your nature. Awakening can go "balls deep" (the mind being "Fully Blown"), and it can also be "teasing" or "arousing" (like "glimpse" or "kensho"). It does sound strange because Consciousness is Absolute, nevertheless awakening can be shallow or deep. Since trying to represent awakening in any way will be a misrepresentation, explaining the possible depth of it is all the more futile. The only way to go about this is to awaken, and awaken, and awaken, and awaken. And please, don't blame me - I didn't make it that way. YOU did.

So from my point of view only my experience is valid. And from your point of view only your experience is valid ?

From "your" "POV", your experience is the only thing that exists. Even if you assume or conclude somehow that there is something outside your "POV", the assumption or conclusion is still only occurring in "your" POV. You see, what ever being you perceived in your life, you probably imposed on it the conceptual assumption that this being is aware, or is sentient, that it has a "POV" of its own. Unfortunately, it is impossible to resolve on an intellectual level whether or not the beings in your experience are sentient or not. The same goes for anything else that you assume to exist outside your mind, which serves as a conceptual framework for your life. Even if we inspect the seemingly obvious assumption that there is a reality or existence that is independent of our individual mind, we will find that this too only an assumption that appears in our mind. There is just no way to verify or proof whether or not anything exists outside our perceptions, because what ever verification or proof we get, it will be in our mind.

The only way to resolve this, is to become conscious of your absolute nature, which is YOU, and not the appearance of a body-mind that is usually identified in our culture as "you". What should be considered is that the absolute existence of the body-mind appearance (or any other experience) is of completely different nature than what it is perceived to be. Becoming conscious that YOU are the nature of the human experience, put it in a different perspective and resolves all this solipsistic intellectual inquiries.

  13. Enlightenment can surely become an ego trip, like any other thing that the self-mind labels as an achievement. But genuine Enlightenment is beyond and prior to self and mind, so it is not an "ego trip". It is the nature of existence, which includes ego tripping. It isn't grand, or unique, it is just the Truth. You cannot achieve the Truth because it is already what is so, and it doesn't belong to anyone. So if the Enlightenment is sincere, the ego mind will never grasp it anyway, or own it in any way, shape or form.

It is a bit like being in a dream. Inside the dream, there is nothing you can do to reveal that the nature of the dream is thought (or the dreamer's mind). Every perception in the dream is made out of thought, so how could the character inside the dream, which is a thought-form, grasp that its nature, which is prior to it?

In the same way, self-mind (or ego), which is a form of Consciousness, cannot and will not grasp Consciousness. So you are wrong, and you should focus on becoming conscious rather than asking if Leo is ego tripping.

  14. Can you elaborate on your previous awakenings?

You and God aren't separate. When appearances morph after ingesting Psychedelic substance, it is Consciousness (God, You) that is morphing. It really doesn't matter whether you were conscious of it or not, but God is before tripping and while tripping. Tripping can just make you more conscious of it being this way always. Tripping tear of the conceptual matrix that hinder your true nature and trap you in a dream. The feeling of dying is because the identification with thought processes diminish greatly while tripping, and your sense of being a separated self is stemming from this identification.

Did you consider examining your beliefs and thought structure regarding who or what you are, or what reality is?

Enlightenment is simply being where you already are. Thats all.

LOL, this is actually true, but it can only be recognized with Awakening. Most "people" who will hear this, will try to make sense of this and think that it is spiritual sophistry. When it is believed that "you" is body-self-mind, the assertion will never land. It can only land when it is seen that "you" is Nothing, or understood in a greater context or discourse regarding what Enlightenment is (or isn't).

Anyway, I don't get why do you bash Leo's communications. He's sharing what he is sharing. There is nothing wrong with learning, this is what we are doing from the day we were born. We create distinctions, and over time people are oriented toward different domains where they create more efficient and subtle distinctions so they can play a part in the relative realm. Leo likes to do this in the existential/ontological domain.

  16. Death may be the flip side of birth, but the causality is imaginary. You could also assert that the cause for death is the intercourse of the parents. Or the rip in the condom. Or the big bang. Any attempt to distinct and isolate the cause of some thing is artificial. Yes, it can serve some purposes, but what ever cause you isolate, it will never be Absolute Truth.

Anyhoo, given that death is the end of the activities that takes place in life forms to prevent the dissolution of form, then it would be more precise to say that conception is the opposite of death. But again, this is only artificial. You can't really isolate birth or conception from the moment your parents met, or the sexual act which brought the conception. Ultimately, everything is just the unfoldment of the Absolute in form. Any distinctions within this unfoldment isn't ultimately real.

  17. And what would that be like, to surrender totally?

You will remain to manifest in relative reality. Leo won't disappear. If the depth of the Consciousness is "balls-deep" (excuse my French), there will probably be serious transformation of self and mind, but other than that everything will stay the same. The depth of the Consciousness will affect the identification with form, or with body-mind, but it won't end life. Even thought and behavior patterns which are healthy will probably remain the same. Negative and ineffective ways of relating to circumstance will probably disappear rapidly.

The way I see it, after following Leo's content for a few years, this is already the case. As his Consciousness deepens, his self and mind are maturing as well.

So I really don't see the point of this "daring". It is already being done by Leo. I mean, the person literally exposes himself publicly, completely, honestly, regarding the most personal and existential matters of the human experience.

What more do you want? LOL.

  18. I love Nahm very much. I watched some of his videos and took a look at his website, and they seemed genuine and heartful (although, in the Self-Actualization sub-forum, where Leo posted about his decision to demote Nahm, a member of the forum asserted that Nahm copied content from meditation app to his website. I didn't verify this claim and am not going to). Lately, I also had much distress trying to decipher his communications. I also disagree with his assertion that "thought is not a perception", which I find to be misleading.

I really wish him well and love him very much.

  19. Becoming more conscious in the Absolute sense, is about deepening your Consciousness regarding the nature of reality, which is the source of every distinction. As been said before, it is about collapsing all distinctions into their real nature, which is Nothing.

In a relative sense, it is about creating more distinctions in some particular domain of experience or appearance, which is about being more aware or conscious of different perceptions and processes (for example: becoming a more knowledgeable doctor by studying more material in your field of expertise, learning to distinct symptoms, causes, treatments, methods for diagnosis or what not). Note that even the distinction between Absolute and Relative is a distinction in the Absolute, and that ultimately there is no difference even between absolute and relative.

  20. First of all, you do not want to tie your honest with alcohol. This will be a major, major setback in your experience. If you are looking for honesty, just be honest and straight forward. Yes, it will be painful in the beginning but over time your entire experience, self and mind will be shaped around honesty. This creates a very powerful experience, and your self will have integrity and any interaction and communication will benefit from it.

Secondly, labelling something as spiritual or not is flawed at its core. That is because every distinction you create isn't ultimately true. You are creating distinctions for some purpose, usually survival. You are asking if a alcohol is legit for spiritual growth? Well, it is a mind altering substance, so of course you can contemplate the effects on your mind, and what beliefs and assumption you have that are affected by this substance. However, it certainly lacks clarity and detrimental to the body. So no, I wouldn't regard it as a viable tool for growth. On the contrary, it can lead to very bad roads.

Thirdly, you should examine your use of the distinction "spiritual". Eventually, nothing is spiritual or non-spiritual, because nothing exists. Consciousness is the true nature of existence, and that includes alcohol, avocado, space, time, self, mind, body, the illusion of separateness, any social interaction, any mind altering substance, every possible experience, etc. In short, Consciousness is the nature of every distinction, and it is Absolute Nothing. There some who equate Consciousness with spirit, so you might look at alcohol as a manifestation of spirit (or Consciousness). But every thing that exist is a manifestation, a form, of Consciousness. So ultimately there is no difference between having a drink and going to the club, and consuming Psilocybin and going to nature to contemplate life. It is both and the same - Consciousness takes different form, which is completely meaningless unless you are dreaming that your are some self who is living a personal life, which has meaning.
