Here's one example of organic apple sauce tested by a lab:

    There is no perfect method.
But here's a decent place to start:

Look, for example, at how many organic foods get F ratings on heavy metal toxicity:

You can even compare them to the non-organic versions which sometimes get A ratings.
It all depends. There's no simple formula here. Any product can be bad, no matter what the label or brand.

  3. Where does confidence come from?
    Where does confidence come from?
Confidence arises out of the belief that we possess the skills to "manipulate" reality in some way. When that belief is manifested in reality, it becomes confidence.
You wanted to have a great job and you got it. This made you confident. You wanted status and you got it. This made you even more confident. But when the job and status are gone, the confidence is also gone.
I will give you another example. Look at Donald Trump. The guy wanted to be rich, and become a billionaire. He wanted to be around beautiful women and hosted his own beauty pageants. He wanted to become famous on TV, and he became famous. He wanted to become president and he did it. How much confidence do you think Donald Trump has? Everything that he ever wanted, he got.
Trump believes that he has all the necessary skills to manipulate reality and that is the root of his confidence. But if you investigate even deeper, you will notice that the root of confidence is a con that reality plays on us.
If you want to get your confidence back, set small goals for yourself, and achieve your goals. If you set daily goals and you achieve them for a whole year, you will be the most confident men in your country.

  5. more leos opinion on stoicism
    How "enlightened" were the stoics?
@MM1988 Like I said, the Stoics were good philosphers and psychologists. When you closely observe your inner nature, you will come to the same basic conclusions. The parallels exist because anyone who studies human nature honestly will tend to see the same core principles at work. It's really just a question of how deeply you go down the rabbit hole, and how you choose to express your insights, from within which cultural background.

  6. Leo's opinion on how enlightened the stoics were
    How "enlightened" were the stoics?
They weren't enlightened. But they had some good intuitions and principles and understanding of human psychology, which makes their teachings useful for personal growth.
One does not have to be enlightened to have useful and profound insights about how to live a good life.
