Breakingthewall replied to AION's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Natasha Tori Maru i changed a long answer explaining a lot of things for this shorter: I know how the psychological suffering works because I get very deep in it and I found the only real way to breaking it, because you have to break it. If you don't believe me and you need to speak condescending, ok, it's not my problem. I just say here my perspective and if it's useful to anyone great. I should stop reacting, but watching Ralston, it's stronger than me. I'm done with conversation with you because your only goal is egoic, or that's what I see. Gaslighting and Trying to be "above". I'm stupid if I waste my energy is those games, like the other guy insulting. My goal Is getting deep and clarify the spirituality. Then I can't lose energy in stupid games. Let's see if I can use this forum in a useful way without getting in personal nonsense -

Hey thanks for no insulting! I appreciate! I didn't need 5 minutes, with 2 was enough -

Why do you think being poor or rich has any connection? It's because of their psychological structure, formed during their childhood and life through billions of interactions with their environment, their inherited value system, the genuine love they received from their parents, the closure created by hostile and competitive energies, by trauma, and by violence. If everything is understood superficially, only superficial solutions are sought, which won't work, since reality is profound. -

I watched many videos and reading many comments here, I think it's enough. Only with the first video was enough, but I watched like ten. Not a single word of true openess, just a man locked in his history believing he's a genius and making it believe to others. But why I care that? Really I'm not sure, maybe because I need to see those mistakes to don't fall in them. 99,99% of spirituality is simply false. Not because bad intention, just because they are locked. If anyone could listen without being defensive, it's so easy to show....but anyway, it's just opinion, nothing personal -

You told me a resume, it's very similar that Eckhart Tolle. According to them, suffering is a mental construct because without physical pain, any suffering is imaginary. They don't understand that physical and psychological pain are exactly the same; they are mechanisms of reality to promote survival. A cow suffers if you burn it so it can move away and not be burned. If it can't move away because it's in a cage, it will suffer just the same. Even if you tell it: "Why are you suffering if you can't do anything?" Fire burns and that's it. The human mind is designed by reality for the same thing: to move away from fire, only it does it before the fire arrives. This is not a defect, it's an evolutionary advance. Self-help gurus want you to return to the cow state, but that won't work; openness works. It's you who doesn't want to understand and who speaks to me condescendingly, without real perception, just defensive, But ok, try the Ralston theory, maybe it works for you -

Yeah, what is "illusion" is the perception of a limited self when the reality is the limitless flow, but when your heart is open and a quality is perceived, this quality is not perceived, it is. Then that perception is the reality. The world is Brahman because you are that, and when you perceive yourself totally it's just the totality being If the self ceases to perceive itself as closed, it perceives itself as flow, and flow is perceived as absolute glory. This sounds like arbitrary mysticism, but it isn't. Absolute glory means being. Everything that is, is that, since it is unlimited. Its limitlessness gives it that character of glorious, perfect, open, open-hearted, non-human love, but love that is The self, due to its structure, can completely close itself off from this glory. A moment ago, I perceived it, and it was it. To be was to perceive; there is no perceiving, there is to be. It doesn't matter what appears, it is to be, it is complete, it is glory. But if now someone tells me that there is a problem , I only see that, I focus on a single point like a laser. There is no glory anymore, there is closure. The normal thing is to live in constant closure. But deny the closure is also a mistake, it's a function of the self -

Then anything should be material and touchable to being real? That's just his assumption, and in my opinion very simplistic. So, if I tell Ralston that in two hours I'm going to grill his entire family in front of him and then lock him in a one cubic meter box full of rats where I'm going to make him survive for 5 years, he'll feel wonderful, since he can't touch and smell his grilled family, at least for another two hours, then yes. -

I never read spirituality, I ve no patience, I start and stop in page 10. I could read if it's extremely super accurate and true, but where is that in spirituality? I never found it, and listening Ralston I get lazy immediately, because I perceive he's wrong in his basis. Is just my perception, but it's clear in this case Openess doesn't mean open minded, means that your structure is open, not limited, let's say that you perceive yourself as the flow of reality taking this form but you are the flow, not the form, but you can get closed in any moment, problems, threats etc No, I don't mean that, what I mean is that the idea of stopping your thoughts is a basic mistake. If a recurrent thought exists, it's for a reason. Stopping the thought doesn't solve the cause. I gave you an example earlier: a person who has everything but has obsessive thoughts about getting sick and dying. According to Ralston, how would you address that? Or tell me any other example and how can be solved with the Ralston idea -

@Twentyfirst i don't support Israel. About the other topic, maybe you have too much imagination. -

How could be transcended? It's impossible transcend what you are, you could change. Imo thinking that it's erroneous is the mistake. Spiritual people say what you said about honoring, but what they really want is to stop being human because it involves suffering. The problem, imo, is that the most obvious way to do this is to eliminate any attachment. Without attachment, you don't suffer. But the underlying reality is different: you're trying something for a selfish reason, to stop suffering. Just a reflection, lately I ve the feeling that spirituality is wrong, like a mistake that is very wrongly formulated from the beginning. But of course, maybe the mistake is mine -

It's not the town bicycle, it's a woman who had another boyfriend before. I know that you are afraid about that, because you are not self confident. It comes from generations of insecure men, very obedient to Muhammad but deeply very scared. Then they need a virgin to feel safe. And then they marry one who fixed her hymen, it's quite cheap, like 200 US. For example in Morocco, where are hundreds of thousands of prostitutes, all them use to do. Others just do anal and blow job to be a real virgin, and almost all Muslim men use prostitutes, and thousands and thousands of Saudis and Arabs in general go to Morocco to use those prostitutes, and they love treat them rude, as inferior beings while fucking them. All the Muslim are fake, pretending something, but being the opposite. They are pathetic. When a revolution of real men in the Muslim world? Or maybe they doesn't exist there? Just obedient scared good Muslims? -

about choosing a woman to perpetuate my lineage, I don't care how many men she's slept with, but rather her true values, her openness to life, and her dedication to a real project. If you want a lineage with drive, you need a true and strong woman, not a poor submissive woman forced by her father to marry. What lineage will emerge from there? One of slaves. -

Anyway, I will explain you why someone is suffering a lot just by the possibility of getting sick. Just because he's smart and he sees clearly that possibility, and he sees all it's implications. He also sees that human life is a trap, that he's a robot reacting to stimulus like a rat going directly to old age and death. Then someone would think: you are stupid (not a genius like the op) , why are you suffering? Life is great, come to have some drinks in a terrace and forget your foolnes. Just stop thinking about it and it's done. But that person couldn't, because that ideas and that nihilism got deep inside of his psyche. Then, how that person would stop his suffering? Manipulating his mind? How, if he is his mind? It's only one exit, only one. And it's not stop thinking. -

😂You are great. That's the way to have a debate about spirituality. High level. -

Totally agree. Leo Messi is extremely skilled. That shows he's wise. You've opened my eyes. You're right to insult me. It's ok that you call me stupid, but understand that when talking to people at your level, we're all at a disadvantage. Don't be so hard with people that is not so smart than you. It's ok that you insult them, that shows that you are great, but please, understand us, we are trying our best (that is low of course) -

Of course, they depend entirely on the person processing them. For someone, the mere possibility of getting sick and spending all day suffering from catastrophic thoughts without anything having happened to them can be horrifying, even everything in his life is perfect. How can that person stop suffering? Why is he suffering? -

Sure, it's much better to be with a woman who's with you because she believes it's her obligation, otherwise she'll go to hell. Western society is full of shit because it's an adult society that confronts itself openly, without an instruction manual, making mistakes and learning from them. Muslim society is a society of terrified children who only know how to do one thing: obey. Obedient children with false souls terrified about don't reach the standard. No artist, no scientist, no writers, no nothing, just obedient Muslims. Ah, and don't forget say thanks to west , without them Muslims would be happy in the X century, without medicines, technology and electricity ,just praying a lot obediently , terrified about a man, Muhammad, that is their lord, and you their slaves. Btw I hope your parents choose a good woman for you. But be careful, in many Muslim countries the most requested surgery is hymen reconstruction. Things sometimes are different that they seem. -

Maybe makes you realize what's going wrong, for example you may have an inherited set of values that makes it impossible for you to accept your situation, but on the other hand, you can't change that set of values by convincing yourself otherwise, because it's built into your structure. Masking it up won't help. So you might conclude that your only way out is to dig deep, reach the hardware, and deactivate it by transcending those structures. This isn't something you'll achieve by changing your thoughts; this's like covering up an infection without curing it. It will remain there, taking other forms. The problem is that real change is complex and requires absolute sovereignty. Then people will choose simpler solutions, but they doesn't work. Only the truth works, and changing your thoughts is deceiving yourself. Your values will remain, your need of validation, aceptation, success, etc, are going to make your structure closed, then you may feel that you are suffering less, but in background the vibration of suffering will remain. Suffering is not a sickness, it's a simptom, the sickness is disconnection, and the cure is open your structure to connect yourself with what you really are Anyway , maybe the other way also works, but I tried a lot, I read Tolle, etc, I internalized those ideas but were useless for me, I guess it depends of the person. -

that of being enlightened has many possible meanings, and usually are knowing nothing and that. What I said is just logical deduction. Reality is an open system of logical relationships, human mind the same -
Breakingthewall replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No, it's a reflection that is It's built from quadrillions of relationships between different states and perspectives at thousands of levels, all of them exactly symmetrical. Reality is made up of infinite dynamic relationships in constant motion. If that seems like nothing to you, it's because your definition of nothing is: infinite relationships that unfold infinitely in eternal dynamism. What is related? Reality. If it can be related, should we consider it is "something" or not? Even it's conciousness or being or anything, it is. -
Breakingthewall replied to AtmanIsBrahman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah of course, its basis is genetic, but it lives indepent of the gene. The rest of the living beings that have existed on Earth for 3 billion years, which has been a lot of species, have been absolutely subject to genetics. That is, not only their physical characteristics, but their entire behavior has been precisely genetically coded with minimal room for maneuver. All lion packs do exactly the same thing; they hunt exactly the same; the males fight exactly the same generation after generation; everything is coded. Humans don't; they have flexibility. But the incredible thing is that they don't have much flexibility; they have total, absolute flexibility. A human can understand the quantum structure of reality. No animal can multiply; it's absolutely impossible, not even the smartest monkey in the world. You teleport a guy from prehistory here, and he can learn space engineering, genetic biology, and create an AI. The human mind is another dimension of existence. It's not that humans are smarter; it's that we've broken a dimensional barrier and operate on another level, free of the gene. Humans can fully understand reality. Imagine civilization if it doesn't collapse in 30,000 years. You can't, it's impossible. 30,000 years, biologically, are two minutes, nothing. Human mind is a living being that operates above another being, the human, a kind of larva that wouldn't survive two days without the group, that exists to lend its mental energy to the collective mind. It has a basic emotional coding that compels it to certain attitudes, reproduction, tribalism, acceptance of the clan, and on these bases, the mind flies. It expands. All life pushes to expand against the barriers of matter. The mind has leaped those barriers and expands at the speed of light. -
Breakingthewall replied to AtmanIsBrahman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I mean the collective mind. If you look at any living being, they do exactly the same thing every time, like robots. Seagulls nest on rocks, then perform mating rituals, fish in a certain way, etc., and for the slightest change, it takes 50,000 years. However, the collective human mind changes every second. It evolves like a living being, but at a speed that is perhaps not billions of times faster, but trillions. And accelerating. The collective mind is everything that humans know, all the interactions, relationship, thoughts, ideas, science, technology, literature, Instagram, every video, this conversation, every thought. Congo gorillas have been sitting there eating leaves for literally 400,000 years, without the slightest change. Maybe now the herds are 45 individuals instead of 38. That's all the change. Now look at humans and say: What the fuck. -

Of course, in one week. And I won't keep entering the game again and again. But I can't handle this Neo-Advaita thing. It's like a drug. The bag of cocaine is right there. I promised I wouldn't open it, but sooner or later I'll open it to say: Neo-Advaita, don't you see that what you're saying is exactly the opposite? How can reality be a hallucination of the self if you say the self doesn't exist? Why do you say reality is nothing when you're all over there saying things? What means that thing? -

It's your opinion, mine is other. Anyway, I'm not paying colombian hitmen to cut off his arms, just by telling him in a forum that he is a liar (because he is, even he doesn't know it) But agree, it's a stupid war, who needs that? Let's stop being personal. Really I have a feeling about james, like we are old friends or something like that, I don't hate him at all, but every time that I read his post it's like a need to tell him: man, please, don't you see what you are doing?
