@Keyhole Being rough is a very common masculine energy. When you're around a bunch of guys, don't expect them to be all soft and pink. I personally like and request some roughness and would be triggered if I was treated too softly. It would make me feel a little bit, idk, feminine to be treated in such a way. Not that I deny or hate the feminine, but that it's not particularly my type. I am used to roughness and toughness. Kill me but don't treat me like a pink rose.

Look, I'm not currently in a state of fear. But when shit hits the fan, I will most probably feel fear. My explanation for that is that it's a way for the ego-mind to preserve itself. So, if that's the case, the ultimate solution would be to get rid of the ego-mind. What I'm saying is that it's not about current fears, because there's none. It's about future fears that overwhelm me and get me by surprise. And don't tell me oh just be present in the moment or you're imagining the future because I know all that and it doesn't help when shit hits the fan. When bad things happen, all conditioning will come back and all knee-jerk reactions will kick in, and fear is the most fundamental part of all that. If I remove everything else, fear will remain. But if I remove fear, everything else will go with it.

You're talking as if fear is something objective that exists out in the world like a gate or something that I should go through, but it's not like that. Fear is all about your inner psyche and how you project it out onto the world. That's why not everyone fears the same things. So it's a completely subjective experience that has everything to do with you. And yes, there is another way to not fear things, it's called awareness. If you have consistent high levels of awareness, there will be no fear. Because fear is a lie that you tell yourself and believe. If you are aware enough to see the lies, they will have no power over you. And that applies to attachment as well because attachment is the other side of the coin of fear.

Location is a relative notion. For me to determine the location of something, I need to create a frame of reference to contrast it to. For me to locate something, I need to isolate it from everything else, which simply cannot happen. There is only one thing that I can't separate from itself.

The thing is that you're prioritizing the word of an authority that has no connection whatsoever to your inner world, over your word. But only you can know your desires and emotions.

There is fear for the body and fear for the ego-mind. If I remove the ego-mind, I will become formless, even if fear for the body occurs. I don't need to kill the body to be formless because the body is in fact formless, since form = formlessness. It's only the limitations of the ego-mind that creates unnecessary fear. The ego-mind is always trying to maintain itself in a rigid form, and that's the problem. If there was no ego-mind, I wouldn't be here. But I am here because I think I am.

They are stored in the present moment and you imagine them directly into your direct experience and label them "memories from the past" instead of just thoughts in the now.

@The0Self Well, honestly, I myself still don't have enough clarity on that. And I'm not sure I want enlightenment anymore, but it seems inevitable nonetheless. What I meant by no thoughts is actually more about surrender/no-resistance/fearlessness than it's about the thoughts themselves. I suppose if one can maintain certain levels of awareness all the time, fear should disappear forever. Then again, why isn't this the case already? Why do we experience fear? And why is it so hard to transcend? Even for people like Sadhguru who are supposed to be enlightened, I guess they won't be able to pass this test. If you just change a few things about their lifestyle they will probably return back to ego and fear. So I'm not sure enlightenment is a realistic goal anymore. Or if it is, then there's no coming back to the human world. It seems like literal insanity and loss of mind.

I personally have only heard stories of the paranormal. Never witnessed any by myself, even though I was able to heal my back pain by myself. Maybe it was just a lucky shot.
