  1. Such a good perspective, our bodies have been evolved preserve the human ego at all cost. Language structures our worldview that is favorable Like I said earlier, it’s total delusion..but absolutely necessary to build a society. There’s wisdom in survival, but also a capacity to transcend. Question is..how far is humanity away from it, and what can we do as an awakened collective to push it forward? Enlightenment is a learning process. It starts with many questions: what I am? What is reality? Etc. you sound like the typical Buddhist or Neo-advaita type. Notice these perspectives our limited and can easily develop into spiritual ego. Understanding the mind is just as important as silencing it. For us humans at least ?
  2. @James12345 yes yes, all this is true..but on an individual level. There is consciousness work that we can all do in our personal lives to come spiritual insight and realization. But that’s not enough…our various systems (primarily education) needs to leverage existing pointers and concepts to get us to a place where we ultimately realize that none of the pointers are needed. It took language (as well as other survival mechanisms) to get us to our awakening in human form, otherwise we’d be dead before making any substantial progress. Rarely do you get human incarnations that are 100% enlightened at the start. We cannot put the cart before the horse.
  3. @James12345 you bring up a good point. Language is a monster in of itself. But then again, we cannot function in human existence without pointers/maps. The egos construction is almost like a necessary evil. I think we ultimately need to infuse the various maps with spirituality. This take mass awakening on a collective scale…as well as coordination. (Could be a 100 year process)
  4. For me, it’s hard to put the impact that Actualized.org has had in my life into words. It started out as simple self help to push myself towards material success. I essentially got suckered into God realization this way, which is a testament to how good a job actualized.org ties the abstract and the practical concepts of life together in a holistic and clever way. (This is next level self help/personal development) I have become a creative force in my life, and wouldn’t know where I would be if not for the insights from this channel. Life has been 10x sweeter…but I’d like to remind everyone that you HAVE to put this stuff into practice for it to take off in full. Thank you Actualized.org!
  5. The child has no concept of love other than what is experienced through their relationship with their caregivers. I think you underestimate how helpless children are at birth, on an emotional and physical level. Childhood trauma is rampant across the globe simply because abused children become parents, and transfer that trauma to their kids. This happens from generation to generation.
  6. Because our egos won’t allow it. The more we shrink our ego and sense of self, the more beauty is revealed.
  7. I've given up on the prospect of Leo actually making a video on this lol. But I did have an insight that answered the question of Solipsism (for me at least). Insight: From our human perspective, solipsism is not real. This is because we are under the impression that our bubbles of consciousness (otherwise known as perspective on reality), is a unique function of the human brain and biology (through scientific concepts). Thus we can acknowledge the relativity of perspectives amongst humans through biological means. However, when you start to awaken, you realize that those various bubbles of human consciousness is not actually happening in a human brain. The experiencer of each human experience is what we call "Source consciousness", otherwise known as God. This Being has no form, yet all of reality is being produced by its intellect (can use the word imagination as well). This goes for human perspectives, as well as perspectives of alien, inanimate objects, psychedelic universes, etc...you name it, it's infinite. In short, every inch of reality is happening from God's perspective. God's perspective is solipsistic, because there's nothing outside of it. And lastly, don't forget that you are God .
  8. Compassion can only go so far. It's a good gesture, but our experience is ours, and ours alone. You may think you feel someone's pain, but it's at a very limited degree. Pain is unique to each individual.
  9. One finds true meaning in life after realizing that it is meaningless. If life is meaningless, that means you get the glorious opportunity of defining your own meaning. Now how awesome is that?
  10. @Leo Gura have you ever thought about coming up with your own model regarding stages of awakening? You make use of a good metaphor by reference "dials" or "knobs" of consciousness that spin, infinitely, in each direction.
  11. It is possible to want things in life, yet be detached from them. This requires that you see the loss of something as a turning of the page...a next chapter so to speak. Reality is impermanent, and often loss is simply a clearing of mental, physical and emotional space for something new to enter.
  12. Use the subjectivity to your advantage. Start by identifying the learning lesson, then identify ways to using it towards your spiritual growth. Ultimately, you are attached to your guilt and regret. Maybe because through holding onto it, you remain stagnant in challenging yourself to improve who you are as a person.
  13. @Ilan now now...we all know unhealthy food generally taste "better"...relatively speaking. Of course healthy food can be tasty, but the sheer amount of sugar and salt used in unhealthy foods hits the taste buds very different. What does this even have to do with the topic? lol
  14. I think about this all the time lol. Guess us humans have to learn the art of discipline in some kind of way.....*sigh
  15. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes the truth hurts, and in this case..the truth is everyone you know, including yourself, will die one day. We cannot change this. I advise starting a gratitude journal. 30-60 days where you wake up and list 1-5 things you are grateful for, even if it’s just life itself. You are dealing with an attachment issue, this exercise will help you detach a bit, and enjoy life as it is. Best of luck
  16. I had an asshole superior at work who couldn’t get along with our funding department. His social skills sucked, and he needed to leech off someone with keen communication and interpersonal skills. Unfortunately, that person was me. He presented as an opportunity for growth and exposure..but once the goal was reached in expanding funding for the team, he never acknowledged my effort. It was clear I was only a means to meet a self glorifying end. Lesson Learned: When engaging in any partnership, contemplate the level of mutual value add. Also, check the persons reputation amongst peers. If you think a con man will treat you any different than anyone he/she has in the past because you are somehow special, you are greatly mistaken.
  17. Karma for me is the universal laws of cause and effect. Cause and effect is not only material/physical..but also spiritual/metaphysical It is a mistake to label any actions or consequences good or bad..but nonetheless, they apply.
  18. @Late Boomer never to late to chart a new path. I guess would focus on at one thing (at max two) in life that you would like to see actualized by the time your soul moves on. Younger folks can focus on many creative ventures, but the list gets smaller as you get older. Even still, we all have vision of what could be…even in later years.
  19. Why do you need this? The key is realizing that others can’t provide you with things that you can’t provide yourself. Its not a good idea to outsource your well being to others. It opens the door up for folks to take advantage of you..quite easily.
  20. I can relate. As you unpack your own bullshit, you start to see it more clearly in others. This is where you have to get comfortable being alone. The more authentic you are, the more you have less social ties. But don’t be jaded, trust that like minded folks will gravitate towards you over time. The number of connections will be small, but the quality will be well worth the wait.
  21. Though we’re in a dream, it’s infinite. One must realize that he can’t wake up from the matrix, he can only wake up to the matrix. Awakening is not an escape from reality, in fact...it engages you even deeper. You understand the game is never ending. On the opposite side of what you call “death” is birth. Two sides of the same coin. Spiritual goals beyond mere realization of what IS.. is falsehood. If you find yourself wanting what IS to change through spiritual work, you are mistaken. Put your focus on the context of reality, not the content. The distinction is important. Ultimately, proper contextualization is all you need in this journey.
  22. I just find it interesting how Gov. of NY Andrew Cuomo went from a media darling for his handling of Covid to sexual predator in such a short turnaround. He’s no better than Trump on that front. Politics is a dirty game, and we can’t underestimate how much power influences the human psyche and ego. I have a hard time understanding #MeToo deniers, this is toxic masculinity at its finest. We must demand better from our political leaders. Kudos to the women who were courageous to come out. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2021/08/10/my region/cuomo-resigns
  23. Answer: God is not a belief, God is Truth.
  24. I think this is worth a second video from Leo, with a focus on the concept of free will as it applies to the awakening process. This is a common trap that creates barriers to the realization of God, and empowers the Ego to take credit for successes and failures gained along the spiritual path.
