That’s the claim of the democratic politicians who don’t want the audit. But the quote I gave was not from Trump, it was from Barack Obama, February 24, 2009 in an address to a joint session of congress. So, why didn’t the democrats follow through? Now that Trump is doing it they find reasons to complain about somebody making a reasonable audit within the powers of the executive branch. This should actually be getting bipartisan support. -

Generally, I think that Elon Musk auditing the government for waste and corruption is an excellent idea. The US is already essentially bankrupt and steps need to be taken now to get control of the spending. I don’t understand why anyone would object to this: “We cannot sustain a system that bleeds billions of taxpayer dollars on programs that have outlived their usefulness, or exist solely because of the power of politicians, lobbyists, or interest groups. We simply cannot afford it.” -

Elon Musk giving review of what he has found so far in his auditing and suggests there is significant fraud. -

If you look at Trump’s foreign policy, it is a huge shift from the establishment view. He says he is making America great again, but what he is actually doing is dismantling the Empire, e.g. getting America out of Europe, the Middle East, buy Greenland and protect Panama Canal to shore up the Western sphere. China is now a super power on par with the US. We are transitioning from hegemony to a multi polar world, which is very dangerous. If Trump can make a deal with China on a new world order, we can avoid a nuclear war. -

I use to think Christianity was nonsense. Ironically, it was Hindus who convinced me there is something to it. The Hindu saint Ramakrishna actually became a Christian to see if it works and verified that it can lead all the way to enlightenment. The part of Christian dogma that I still think is false is their claim that they have the only true path. Hinduism teaches there are many paths up to the top of the mountain.

Keep it simple. Do some Bhakti yoga and work on opening the heart. Stay away from non duality and neo advaita intellectual blabber. You could check this out. It’s Bhakti and has a nice vibe. -

In the 1960s, autism was considered extremely rare, with estimated prevalence rates of 1 in 2500 to 1 in 10000 children. The CDC estimated in 2023 that there were 1 in 36 children in the US diagnosed with autism. Even better diagnostic criteria doesn’t account for this. When RFK, Jr. gets to the bottom of this it is going to destroy the “I am good” image of the politicians who voted against his comfirmation. This is their real fear.

It's already been done. Tibetan Buddhism is tantric and Padmasambhava had consorts or wisdom dakinis. -
This was an interesting exchange today: 'The moment came during day two of Kennedy’s Senate confirmation hearing, where he told Sanders, “By the way Bernie, the problem with corruption is not just in the federal agencies, it’s in Congress too. Almost all the members of this panel are accepting, including yourself, are accepting millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry.” When the audience clapped in approval of RFK’s comment, Sanders angrily waved his hand in the air, saying, “Oh no! No, no, no, no… I ran for president like you. I got millions and millions of contributions. They did not come from the executives, not one nickel of PAC money from the pharmaceutical industry, they came from workers.” Kennedy responded, “In 2020 you were the single largest receiver of pharmaceutical money… Bernie, you were the single largest accepter of pharmaceutical dollars. $1.5 million.” “Yeah, out of $200 million,” Sanders answered.' https://x.com/TheChiefNerd/status/1885039797661585782

None of these politicians seem to care about the chronic disease epidemic. How many of them get contributions from Big Pharma? So far, Kennedy is dominating them with facts. He is use to this and can handle the attacks. https://x.com/i/status/1884648179007713439

Yes, it is consistent with his body language. I also think he may have gotten that gesture from a Star Trek episode. It doesn't look anything like a real fascist salute. The MSM should really be accusing him of being a Romulan. -
Jodistrict replied to manuel bon's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
But why did the MSM bite at the story? After all, this is inconsequential and not real news. It could have been safely ignored. MSM is good at ignoring stories when it wants to. It’s really a mutual agreement. Sensationalism is good for business. -

That would just be another object. It may or may not match your expectations. And it would very for the individual. Some people see the Musk salute as fascist whereas others see him pointing towards Mars. -

Do you think this may be a case of the observer seeing a pattern that matches his preconceived expectations? So, it would say more about the mind of the observer than the thing observed. -

The cold forces you to concentrate. You either concentrate or go crazy. So it cultivates Dharana and Dhyana. -

I did a Wim Hof ice bath twice. Never again. It would be hard for a normal person to be in the snow like that for even a minute. But Wim Hof has taught people to do that. -

I grew up in a Christian household, but the dogma never made sense to me so I abandoned it. But after studying Hinduism it started to make more sense. Hinduism explains how it works. It is a Bhakti yoga. The Hindu saint Ramakrishna actually became a Christian to see if it could actually lead to self-realization and he verified that it could. The few sincere practitioners of Christianity can reach the highest levels of consciousness. Of course, the mass of people are buried in dogma and rules, but that is the same as any other religion or belief system, and that includes the non-duality crowd. -

Keep in mind that democratic politicians like FDR, Harry Truman, and even JFK would be considered to the right of Trump socially. In those times, the social engineering of progressives wasn't even a factor. Hubert Humphrey and Walter Mondale came from Minnesota and they sponsered legislation that supported dairy farmers. These politicians would have had just as hard of time wraping their minds around the "trans" thing. -
It’s biological. Your brain adopts. When you take a psychedelic, there is all kinds of adjustments of neurochemicals going on in your brain. My trips are much different than 4 years ago. I still have brilliant colors but the vision part of the trip lasts for a shorter period of time. I know one guy who lost the color visions after a few trips and he was disappointed. One thing you might try is to switch to another mushroom that is known for giving visions.

Good politics comes from a spiritual origin. Think of Martin Luther King, Jr., a Christian minister, or Gandhi, a Hindu saint. The problem with the current so-called “progressive” politics is that it is absent of any spiritual origin, with its roots in scientific materialism and Marxism. It has a reductionistic Marxist “victim/perpetrator” narrative rather than anything transcendent and healing. The consequential fascist and intolerant implementation of their policies is what creates legitimate resistance from the population. Spiritual people recognize this and are naturally repulsed, even though they may be at a beginning level of development where they don’t have good alternatives. -

You might want to check out the spiritual teacher Maharishika. She talks alot about Kundalini awakening and tells people not to activate it because of the problems you pointed out. -

The California environment in its natural state is sagebrush and chaparral, and it is only imported water that maintains the non-native plants and populations. The Santa Ana winds are also a well-known meteorological phenomenon in Southern California. It requires proactive management of the surrounding vegetation by the government and maintainance of adquate water supplies to mitigate the risk of fires. Thus, it is reasonable to suspect government failure in this case due to the enormous losses. During the fire, some fire hydrants actually ran out of water. Previously, the mayor had cut funding from the fire department budget. It will be interesting to see if an investigation can uncover the factors or will this be handled by the citizens throwing out the inept politicians in the chain of responsibility. -
You seemed to have missed the point that i said the technique is useful for some people.
