  1. @Someone here If infinity, what I am saying is true. Now you will ask, "is infinity a concept". Well, yes. Because we are thinking and talking about it.
  2. @universe Them as in an appearance. I see what you mean, I think. @Galyna Ill take that as a "yes"
  3. @Someone here What belief have I repeated to you? I'm happy to admit that currently solipsism suits whatever I am currently experiencing, I am within my mind, I cannot ( right now ) prove anything outside of it. You can transcend the mind is what I am saying. I don't believe anything, I am just open-minded
  4. @cetus Yep. Can't say I don't do it myself though
  5. Well said @Someone here We will leave it at that. Arguments about solopsism are lengthy and mindfucky.
  6. you are playing the wrong games, for the wrong reasons. ( Competitive )
  7. @Someone here Everywhere " Where " is not the question to be asked. I started with solipsism a while ago, as most people do when they begin to realise the actuality of existence.
  8. Yes they all exist. Because I experienced them. Therefore they are 'made of' consciousness. Which is existence. There is a chance I am missing your point
  9. @Someone here Consciousness created the mind.. which is my current experience. Yes? If my ego-,mind is being imagined into existence due to the infinite creative potential of consciousness, then I am also simultaneously imagining other peoples minds, and literally an infinity of other 'things', as well as nothing. I think I have answered my own question, as the question itself makes no sense in the bigger picture. As for solipsism, transcendence of the mind will debunk it.
  10. Says who? Truth is truth, I need not make that assumption
  11. @universe Because I experienced her. If I experience something, it 'exists'
  12. @Someone here Thanks for your eye-opening response.
  13. Let me know if this goes against the forum guidelines. I see a lot of people posting here looking for like minded people/groups to talk to, as well as accountability partners and whatnot, and it has made me think: Why hasn't someone made a discord server so we can talk in voice channels together? Forum posts are limited and misinterpretations are common. You can't really connect with someone by looking at text on a screen. Thoughts?
  14. Awesome. Be careful not to conceptualise it too much.
  15. For those of you who have closed-minded friends that you have somewhat detached from while on this path, you don't need to lose faith in them completely. Especially if you still care about them. Last week I was a trip sitter for my friend who had never had a spiritual experience, and who thoroughly believed that money / material reality was all that mattered. He also got into alot of street fights and had friends that were in gangs, etc. I seriously thought we weren't going to talk again until recently. While he tripped, I spoke words of wisdom that once blew my mind when I was at his stage of development. I explained how everything other than the experience he has right now is thought, and how thought is often deluded and grounded in nothing. There is nothing else going on other than his awareness. He begun to realise how closed minded he had been, and I didn't even put the words into his mouth! He was shocked at the beauty he had been ignoring in life. He began to laugh hysterically, but he almost seemed terrified. He kept saying; " Oh my god. This is too good to be true. No fucking way.. ". We re-bonded that night. Since, he has started changing his entire attitude towards life, and stopped being influenced by people who aren't going to lead him anywhere. This experience was profound for me too. Showing someone else the light is beautiful. I understand now why Leo does what he does. Helping guide people towards their true nature is the most loving and life changing thing you can do for them. TLDR: By teaching others, you are also reinforcing your own understanding. No one is ever completely lost.
  16. I don't like half of them either
  17. @TheHealer You are viewing these bigger-picture perspectives from a limited vantage point - your mind. Open your mind a little. Leo obviously isn't condoning murder! This entire website is based on helping people.
  18. Probably POCD. It is literally nothing to worry about, let it go
  19. If you are confused it is not intuition.
  20. @Franz Ferdinand II The process is nearly done, I'll probably be in pretty soon. Even if I regret it, it will certainly not be the end of the universe
  21. Although this isn't really in line with my current goals in life, like self actualisation and self improvement, I have always wanted to join the army. There is nothing anyone could tell me that would stop me from doing so. However, I was thinking: If I start to make some major progress with self development, will I suffer when I am enlisted, as I wont really have time to focus on myself anymore? Or will just finding the time to meditate be enough to stop severe backsliding? As well as watching a few videos and reading books etc in the spare time that I may rarely get...? TLDR: My vision for my life is to self improve and be in the military, simultaneously. Is this achievable? Or at least, plausible? Any advice will help, especially if there is any ex-military here.
  22. I have had half-assed attempts at Kriya yoga, shamanic breathing and a few different meditation techniques. But I feel as if the one thing that is slowly guiding me toward truth is meditation. Specifically, doing nothing. ( Along with journaling and psychedelics ) I feel as if by keeping it simple, I am preventing myself from clinging onto / creating ideas and concepts within my mind that will waste time that would be better spent doing nothing at all! I also feel as if meditation fixes literally all of my problems. However, I am open minded enough to consider that I am falling into a trap, which is why I am asking; Should I keep it simple? Is lengthy and well disciplined meditation all I need?
