  1. @Leo Gura Jesus, are you trying to hit him with the bamboo stick or a machete ffs? Maybe it's the stage green in me, but I feel you're going a bit too hard here.
  2. Not saying any of you are wrong technically speaking in certain situations, but be aware that this is some of the most stage orange communication I've seen on this forum. Be aware of that. Be open to the possibility that relationships are NOT about physical attraction or attraction to the "things" others have. It's so much more than that. Besides, we don't need 200 comments for a post this simple. Nice guys are deceptive. Stop being deceptive. If you make it through your deceptiveness and find that you are still considered a "nice guy" great! That makes the selection process much easier.
  3. @FoolsGold I'm not sure what you mean?
  4. @Flowerfaeiry Depends. In my opinion, I dont think race is at the forefront of the issue anymore in 1st world countries (depending on what area you live in). It feels more like classism with a combination of after-effects of racism, but I could be wrong. So while the answer is no, I still feel there needs to be a distinction made between those terms. Make sense? I actually think not making this distinction is causing a lot of problems and more division.
  5. @FlyingLotus Leo Kardashian is not something I want to see....please stop ?
  6. @7thLetter I know you're speaking generally, but you should consider that there are no fully extroverted or introverted people. Everyone is an ambivert that falls within that spectrum, so the capacity to do this is within everyone. Also, I will say that the methods used here are not the only methods. Plenty have not been discovered, and the ways introverts and extroverts self-actualize don't have to be the same. Even saying "generally" is not really possible because the population of people doing this type of work is insanely low. I mean what does "generally" even mean in this context? You see what I'm getting at?
  7. @levani In my experience, shrooms have been a lot more therapeutic whereas LSD has been a creative tool in low-medium doses. Other than those and DMT I can't comment. Hope that helps.
  8. I'd like to add that you should do the things that are exciting to you. You'll probably do it for other people for a while, but ultimately, you should have you're own passion. Usually that passion bores the fuck out of most people because they can't relate whatsoever lol. What's funny to you, might not be funny to others, and that's fine. Do that. My charisma developed after I started really developing a life purpose. It was a side effect. I realized I created a shell to hide in because I was scared of being open and possibly vulnerable. I have no problem with confidence in myself now after some of the stuff I've discovered and will use later on. You can do that too. You have that capacity. I also discovered you can be introverted but highly extroverted for short-bursts. Introverts have a tendency to create an unhealthy association between the social-exaustion they feel and neurotisms. You can be socially exhausted without embarrassment, fear, etc. If you need alone time at social events, don't be worried about telling people you're introverted. Most people will immediately understand and leave you be. By now, most extroverted people get it in my experience, so that's not much of a worry anymore. When you develop YOUR character, humor, and passions into more mature state, you create originality, and people will end up liking that more than the washed-out jokes that get tossed around 24/7. It's just a better long-term solution to be you. That's what you should focus on.
  9. @Endangered-EGO From the lens of materialism you could look at it like this; when metal rusts, would you say the metal died or changed? Of course, you would say that it changed. But what is the "it"? The "it" is experience. That's the constant in the change. Why would this be any different for you? If you pay close attention to the current belief of death (everything "goes black"), you notice that it assumes the metaphysics of the soul being inside of the body ironically, when in fact, the soul is the body. You don't die; you change form, therefore, death is impossible.
  10. @Runtz What medication did she take and for how long in your knowledge? Also, what did the therapy consist of and for how long did she do that? How many clinics has she actually gone to? It about time to find a new one. I second what Leo said, but depending on where you live, her beliefs, etc., that may not be possible, so there needs to be more than one option for how to approach this I think.
  11. @NoSelfSelf Not saying this to be rude, but could you put some punctuation in your messages? I'm having a hard time following, and if there's important advice, some people may have a hard time seeing it clearly. You know what I mean?
  12. @Vagos That is ideological-green; not a fully-realized green. I think it's safe to say that there is a certain amount of blue in there too. Especially college students. Most college students didn't give a crap about anything in high school, and suddenly after going to college, they have all these green ideas. It's not really their ideas, and they don't necessarily know what they're talking about. They're mostly just trying to realize themselves as functioning adults. There is no point in trying to argue with them because it isn't necessarily "them" yet. I'm only assuming it's young adults you're talking about. If it's not; it's still an ideological-green.
  13. I think it would be best to find that out on your own for the most part, although examples can be helpful at times. In the attempt to create a stage yellow relationship, you may end up creating the persona of one rather than an organically-realized one. If you both continue to do inner-work, overtime yellow will just naturally play itself out. Good luck to you! If you want, post your insights on the nature of a stage-yellow relationship in your experience once you get to that point. I think that would be informative.
  14. @Preety_India I was still somewhat skeptical of what Leo was talking about in the interpretation video he did, but once this played out in the comment section, it made a lot more sense. Decided to post this in case someone needed an example to work with like I did.
  15. @Dark_White That's why it is essential to find what ties the interpretations together. Hell, philosophy is the "love of wisdom", so that's a great place to look at. Wisdom ties things together. It's like, there are an infinite number of interpretations of the emojis, but you can conclusively say that an experience is happening, and that aspect cannot be interpreted in any other way. When doing philosophy, it's good to keep in mind that you do the philosophical work for the purpose of finding wisdom. That should ground you.
  16. To start off, I raised a non-denomenational Christian and only 3 years ago moved away from it after psychedelics (feels wayyyy longer). I'm only 20 years old and have been doing serious, consistent inner work for that time, so I've developed quite a bit compared to where I was. Now that I've gotten to this point, I've started analyzing Christianity from an outside perspective and trying to find a new approach to using it for this work. Going to do this with other religions as well, but this is the one I know the most well. As a note to others who were raised with any religion or belief system: personally I have found that part of my mind interprets reality somewhat from a Christian perspective at times. Still use words like sin; "He" instead of "It" for God, etc. I think the fix to this is to integrate those ideas up into the work we do here. That might be something to look into if you're like me. If you're wondering what the trinity represents for whatever reason, here ya go. Basically, the trinity is an allegorical and metaphysical representation of body (experience itself without thoughts or feelings), mind (ego), and spirit (unconscious mind/feelings/intuition). These aspects (interpretations) of God work in their own ways but also inform each other as they are completely and totally unified. The father is the body, Christ is the mind, and the Holy Spirit is the spirit (obviously lol). The reason why Christians pray to Jesus Christ is because, within the belief system, he is the ego-mind of God that thinks and reasons. It is said in the Bible that Jesus Christ passed on the Holy Spirit to the church. This is actually true. The Holy Spirit, in this context, is the unconscious mind after it has been oriented towards Christianity from accepting Christ as God. The unconscious mind has a tendency to only act on truth, so if it has been oriented on some sort of goal or symbolic representation of reality, it will unequivocally bring you to wisdom from that lens or way of thinking when inner work is done. In the Bible, it is said the Holy Spirit was the Christ's betrothement gift for the times leading up to the marriage-ceromony in the end of everything. I had a little trouble unpacking this, but I've got a pretty good idea of what this is now. If you do inner-work with conscious attentiveness to the unconscious mind, which guides you to truth, eventually you will be lead to the Absolute Truth or enlightenment. What's funny is the last book of the Bible is literally called "Revelations". That right there should clue you in that this is not really talking about some weird end of the world, apocalypse shit. The entire book is an allegory for the non-dual awakening of the church or Christians. It is Christianity in its final-form. At the time the Bible was written, marriage was meant to represent unification, so the marriage between the church and the Christ is the realization of yourself as the Christ, which is the realization of yourself as God. After that, it is said that a new heaven, hell, and Earth is created by God. This is an allegory for the recontextualization of reality as you see it after enlightenment. And that closes off everything. Sin (devilry) has been "eliminated", and all that is left is Love. There's way more to this stuff, but this is a good start. Honestly, after analyzing Christianity from this lens, I have a much deeper appreciation for Jesus. The dude was insanely conscious. He knew that in his time he couldn't just go around saying, "Everything is God! You're God! I'm God! Love is the answer!" Lol. No one would have accepted that, and his message would have never gotten out. He set it up so that people could collectively develop towards that eventually with a head start. Not only did he set it up on a collective level, it was constructed so that there could be a direct interaction between him and those that believed in him as a result of the Holy Spirit. Pretty cool stuff. Add more if you want, and let me know what y'all think.
  17. @Preety_India Yeah, seriously value yourself more than that. You're worth more than a guy you met two weeks ago. You've got some work to do. Get to it?
  18. @Preety_India You'd give up your life for him, but you feel insecure when he playfully calls you stupid? Stop lying to yourself. Why the hell would you give up your life for him? I seriously doubt that your relationship has gone on long enough for anything remotely like that. Have some more self-respect.
  19. Just know that if I do shrooms tomorrow night, it's y'all's fault. I want to see this super-mind stuff now haha
  20. @Mason Riggle I'm in college, so I've been around the stim department. Immediately, regreted doing it. The initial realization was, "this is too clean." Decided that since I screwed up already, might as well make use of my time. Basically locked myself in my room and wrote a book's-worth of insights into the nature of addiction. Probably looked like a goddamn maniac due to the ridiculous amount of glee I had over what I thought were ground-breaking discoveries. Read it later, and it was not very ground-breaking lol.
  21. @Mason Riggle Be careful with the meth my dude. That shit could make an addict out of Jesus. If you plan on continuing your use, I recommend bringing in down to at least just using amphetamine only. Even that is not healthy, but it's better than meth.

  23. @AdamR95 Beyond being human, the very foundation of a living being is suffering because the first priority of living is survival. The very foundation of you as an ego is pain. You want to deconstruct pain? You can't. You can only deconstruct yourself. Pain follows that (speaking towards the average healthy person) whether it's physical or emotional.
  24. I was specific about this by saying "an indicator". Not "the only indicator." That insight is something you can realize on your own. I find it odd that you would think I'm saying it is superior to another indicator. I never said that. The archetypal dream happens when the mind tries to form an understanding of the world around them in order to orient themselves. This has resulted in the existence of ideologies and religious beliefs. While the symbology is "true", it gets taken at face value by most people. When it's taken at face value, you can twist the meaning to support your survival. Then you realize that the symbols were an analogy. It's on the way to a higher understanding beyond the symbols themselves. That higher understanding reflects multiple POVs you have integrated into yourself. To clarify further, a complex idea is an idea built on multiple ideas; usually many other complex ideas. Analogies utilize this mechanism within your mind to carry you from pure knowledge to an understanding of that knowledge. While the archetypes in their "pure form" (although that's a silly idea to begin with) cannot be communicated, they are communicated through stories, which is a long-form analogy. This right here points to something I forgot to mention: target audience. JP brought up authors speaking in the subject of math. If the target is other mathematicians who can understand it, and the average individual cannot understand it, that is intentional. However, if the target audience is the average person, and the majority cannot understand it, you done effed up. What's different about how Leo does it, is that he clarifies not to take his words at face value and for you to go figure it out yourself because those are ideas that you cannot communicate in a pure form. That is an entirely different thing, although, I'm sure eventually people will find a way to communicate it even if you don't know how that's possible yet. The authors that JP mentioned in the video were not communicating ideas that are uncommunicable. They just aren't good at communicating their ideas. That's all it comes down to. The movement between knowledge and understanding is a psychological phenomenon. Just as the movement between understanding and wisdom is. You underestimate psychology here. It's the movement from right to left brain and then to both (I think). You need to take these words outside of the cliches to see this. Purely speaking materially. Not arguing on metaphysics.
