Here you do it again "Could you exist without religion" and "Could awakening exist without religion". And no, a conceptualization of God doesn't have to be there prior to experiencing Absolute Truth. The only reason Mohammed Hijab converted you is because he's longing for this reward from Allah after this life is over. Everything he told you is for his own selfish desires. He brainwashed you through intellectual verbal communication. In my opinion you got some more work to do.

There's a difference between the direct experience you're having right now and my direct experience. and that's because you're attached to words and the concepts made out of those words, giving that which is perceived the value of those concepts which don't hold any true meaning at all. Your perception comes prior to your actual senses, that means once you stop limiting yourself and break through all the doors of perception, only then can we stop filling in the blanks and can you experience the wholesome & totality of life. Within a certain perception frame all of reality is relative for you, only up until we discover absolute reality, then you'll see life wasn't so relative after all, it's you who made it relative.

He will come back from this decision if he doesn't get stuck in this spiral of illusions. He clearly does not know what he is talking about concerning religion and specially Islam for that matter. If there is any regret to the discovering of Absolute Truth, one is caught up again in the movement of thought and therefore caught up in illusions. Also regret is a 'lower' perceptional aspect.

The real full-on insights don't happen in the mind, so one doesn't discover it from a point of perception either drawn to masculinity or femininity. It breaks through all the doors of perception and out of this time-space dimension where gender is totally annihilated.
