You could probably say that 5meo has the ability to take you to the 10th dimensional perspective, and NN DMT can take you to other timelines/universes/infinities, so the 8th/9th dimensional perspective (if I remember the video correctly) but I'm sure theres tons of variability with all of this, probably any psychedelic could take you deep enough under the right circumstances.

Something that trumps boredom for me while meditating is, focusing on the calming physical sensations of proper deep breathing. Connect your mind to take long inhales and equally long exhales, breathing in your stomach not chest. For me it becomes like exercise. If a day or two goes by where I dont meditate, my mind/body actually feels worse and actually physically craves the deep breathing to keep my nervous system at homeostasis. You probably wont get this at the beginning, takes some time to build up the point where you notice it. -

Thanks for posting. This is probably the best video hes made. Definitely he has had some growth. I used to watch him years ago but lost me because of the things you said, even though he was advocating harm reduction and responsible use, he would still use the "i was stupid for tripping like this, dont do what I did" spiel nearly every new video he would make on a substance. Gets to a point where you have to practice what you preach. -
1st dimension is a single point, going full circle to the 10th dimension which is a single point. Interesting.

I think that microdosing is healthier in the sense that even at those low doses it still disrupts that default-mode network of brain activity an gets your psyche into new thought patterns. If everyone micro-dosed instead of drank coffee our society would be a lot different. But at the same time coffee is great in its own regard for those who get the quality stuff and use it properly.

Why do you want to have sociopathic levels of anything? Realize that human nature is depending on other people for survival. But at the same time, you won't be needy if you were to have a high level of self esteem, meaning been content in your own skin and not relying on other people or any external factor to determine your happiness and overall internal state.

a) Ralph Smart, first person, "whats helped me along my journey" b) Im not sure. If you get annoyed by someone saying "you" in a youtube video for example, take a step back and realize that they are just referring to their general audience and aren't calling you out personally. Or if its person, they could still be using "you" in a general sense, so don't take it personally. -

I find this pretty silly. Reduces spirituality to a video game like statistic. Completely subjective and meaningless when you have no idea about the internal experience of the people you are ranking and how your direct experience would line up with theirs. -

Fruit flies aren't even that bad dude. Just buy some fruit fly traps at the grocery store for like 5 bucks, it will attract them into a liquid in a small container and drown them. Would you rather tiny little fruit flies trying to get some nutrition from your fruit or big ass hairy cockroaches crawling all over your food and kitchen pantry, perhaps even ones that fly? -

Not trying to promote substance use over practices like hatha yoga for this, BUT every once in a while taking some kratom or a cannabis edible helps me really get in touch with my body and become more conscious on any muscle tightness/joint stiffness/lack of range of motion ect. going on that I normally would not have been aware of, even if I deliberately were to try to feel for those things. Combine that with some trigger point self massage/stretching or yoga poses and that brings about some great healing. -
It's that time of year I am being dogmatically "forced" to get a flu shot by everyone around me. Its like if you don't want to get one people are taken aback by it. If you try and research online, most of the websites that pop up will tell you why you "must" get one, but the vast majority seem to be tied in with pharmaceutical companies. I read that they are only around 40% effective and its possible to have a bad reaction from the ingredients being injected into your bloodstream. Plus the fact to get one (for me at least) I have to go to a dirty medical facility with all sorts of bacteria and viruses probably floating everywhere. Theres multiple instances of people I know telling me they felt like shit after they got one this year and even said it made them sick. But if you look this up online it will say its "impossible" for it do that to you. I am a 24 year old male with a plant based diet, I don't eat any artificial processed crap, my diet consists of fruits, veggies (I eat kimchi almost every day), protein sources like eggs and salmon, exercise 5-6 days a week (weight training and cardio) and get 8 hours of sleep every night. Last year I did not get a shot and did not get the flu. I can see why more vulnerable populations should get a shot, but why would someone who takes care of their health more than 99% of americans need it? Another thing, if you don't get it you will get bashed because its also supposed to be for "herd immunity" as well and people will put you in the category of harming others. Am i full of shit? Or is wanting some personal autonomy and not just giving in to the collective ego when they are programmed to think you "have to get something" the right move here?

What time do you wake up in the morning when you feel sleepy at 9:30pm? I would listen to your body and start to go to bed around 9:30 if you are feeling sleepy then.

Maybe you are but maybe not. What I read is that the slow metabolizers usually dont enjoy coffee as much as the fast ones. Maybe this a coincidence, who knows. I think in general though noon is a good cut off time if you are on a normal sleep/wake schedule.

Thats an awesome, positive thing, just make sure your calories are in check for your health goals. Enjoy all those healthy foods, just be conscious of your portion sizes in relation to the demands of your physical activity throughout the day/week. If you are doing time restricted eating that is also a really good practice. And I love ghee as well, I also want to put it on everything so you are not alone my friend.

@Michael569 Just plain black coffee, no added calories, speeds up the metabolism and increases autophagy. Especially beneficial if you are doing a fasted workout, then would be ideal to get your first calories of the day right after the workout. @outlandish Agreed, and the individuals genetics are also a factor here. Around half the population, genetically, are fast caffeine metabolizers and half are slow caffeine metabolizers. If you are a faster metabolizer you can get away with drinking more without having negative effects. You would have to take a genetic test to know for sure but you can do experimentation to see what the best time of day is to drink and how much you can drink that wont effect your sleep quality that night. Personally I have found that the earlier in the morning the better, and I make noon my cut off time, so its out of my system when im winding down that evening.

No fap "not backed by science" is a broad statement. What does that mean exactly? And where did you find it out? Think critically about your sources and the context of which you heard this.

There are structural differences between the parties. One is more about progress, moving forward (love, growth), and one is more towards stagnation, keeping things how they are (fear) You could nitpick to how they both are corrupt, obviously, but they are not inherently equal. You missed the point completely.

Be really careful demonizing coffee. The coffee itself is not the problem. Heavy metals and other toxins in non organic coffee can be detrimental to your health. Coffee itself is very cleansing for your liver, and has potent antioxidant qualities. The caffeine in the coffee used correctly (controlling dosage and preventing tolerance/cycling on and off) will not be detrimental to your health. You can be extremely healthy and be a coffee drinker. Its just nonsense how much false information is out there. Turning it into an addiction where you need more and more of it to achieve the same affect is where things go downhill. There have been studies where they looked at tobacco smokers versus tobacco smokers who were also coffee drinkers, the ones who drank coffee had mitigated negative health effects from the tobacco. It helped fight the carcinogens. Coffee has also been shown to speed up cellular autophagy, or the cleaning up of waste products in your body, when combined with a 12-16 hour fast protocol, which improves health and longevity.

It was temporary, like a jolt of stimulation. But staring at it with an unbroken gaze is harder than it seems. My eyes started to water a little bit, then closed them and had a cool closed eye visual field with the lighting outline of the moon appearing, then when I looked again the edges really start to fade like one of those optical illusion pictures, the white light blurs in different directions and it looks like multiple moons are popping out of the single moon. -

I did this the last couple nights under a full moon. The first night I was doing a meditation session before bed outdoors, when I finished I randomly (higher calling if you will) looked straight into the moon and keep my gaze there. I actually felt a powerful energy enter me. That night I had insanely vivid dreams, which I normally have, but these had a different indescribable essence. This caused me to look it up and see if this was a thing, and I found some interesting articles which report it increasing your psychic abilities, and also talked about how the moon is connected to your dreams. Also, unlike sungazing, the moonlight will not damage your eyes. I think if you are outdoors at night this is something to give a try and see if you can get some benefits. From what I've researched, coffee causes more linear, rational left-brained (task-oriented) thinking. As opposed to green tea promoting more circular, creative, right-brained thinking.

Sexual attraction is the polarity, or difference in energetic charge between the masculine and feminine, in whatever form they take. A stable unchanging consciousness of the masculine being the opposite of the chaotic changing nature of the feminine.

Do a serious psychedelic trip, high enough dose to give you a deep experience, not crazy high, with a responsible trip sitter in a controlled environment. Or better yet go to a clinic that administers them. This has the potential to scare you straight out of your addiction (maybe in the most loving or beautiful way) where you realize the completeness of yourself and your cravings cease.

Think of nothingness being identical to something-ness. God is nothing, meaning it has no defined boundaries, but yet it is still everything, meaning it is a shapeshifter with no set form, so it makes up all form. So that something, or form, really is nothing, its just an appearance, an illusion.
