  1. Don't "choose". There is no right or wrong answer. Simply embrace your sexuality as it comes to you, naturally. Whatever it happens to be. All of the thoughts of shame, guilt, and confusion are cultural conditioning dictating what you "should" or "should not" do with your body. How absurd! You can deconstruct those thoughts and realize they are just egos trying to control other egos because of fear of the "other", or what they may have in themselves.
  2. thank you @Villager Albert @RawJudah Any tips for quitting coffee? I'm addicted as fuck, been drinking it almost daily since April of 2011. I've gone without it for many days/weeks before but it's so ingrained within me. Like I can physically go without it and not have withdrawal, but mentally I'm like "my day would be more awesome if i had a coffee right now" lol
  3. Although I don't necessarily agree with all the content and messages of some of the people that have been censored over the years. I can sympathize with their positions. YouTube, Google, Facebook, and other big tech companies are practically public utilities by all metrics, it would be intellectually dishonest to argue otherwise. Therefore they have a larger (but mostly unspoken) obligation to abide by certain freedom of speech laws of whatever countries they are operating in. It's a huge problem that they can completely crush peoples livelihoods because they don't feel the need to shore up extremely vague guidelines, or because it goes against their political affiliations. Most of which are clearly liberal/left leaning because they are based in silicon valley. It's just a power game that needs to be balanced a bit better, at least the European Union is doing something about it to protect their democracies. America on the other hand is in full fucking meltdown lol.
  4. I know you just asked for Leo but an overall effective way to improve speaking skill is to watch a LOT of different speakers online and reading books from many authors. TED Talks and non-fiction books are great resources. Hearing all the variety of ways people use your language in written and oral settings will subconsciously imprint and develop a well rounded idea in your brain of how to speak. You'll notice your vocabulary becoming more diverse and your articulation will flow better without so much thinking about what you're going to say.
  5. Because they sound cool and mysterious and make you feel like you have things figured out. Like most things people believe in them because it makes them feel good.
  6. Leo has obviously thought about this himself, and how he wants to portray his message and content. It looks like he has opted for not really filtering his language or putting huge disclaimer sections in the videos (though it would probably do them some good, it's not like the videos are short anyways lol). It's just the way he's chosen to go about it. I know people may not like it but let's be honest, it's doubtful it's going to change unless there is some kind of serious drama or backlash, but even that is unlikely because he's insulated himself from the world pretty heavily. It all comes down to the individual - are you getting value out of the content and is it working for you? Depending on the answer to that question you either leave or stick around.
  7. Strive for higher and higher standards and expose the corruption where it exists. That's the point of any great documentary, to raise awareness. Without awareness, change isn't possible.
  8. Here is an answer most people aren't humble enough to give; I don't know.
  9. What's even more sad is now all the environmentalists and leftists going after him trying to get the film banned for making "green" energy look bad. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/apr/28/climate-dangerous-documentary-planet-of-the-humans-michael-moore-taken-down This is a great example of what Leo talked about with collective egos, if a leader or person in the group exposes the rot and hypocrisy or is too developed past the group they ostracize and burn them at the stake.
  10. Here is an example of TOXIC Orange. If you skip to 21:46 in the video you can see this new young entrepreneur come up with a bunch of rationalizations and reasons to justify another online pyramid scheme that uses predatory tactics. The whole video is him getting confronted on this but he's always giving the good PR answer or twists his way around the accusations.
  11. The fact you are only 23 and have tried all these different things should be a good indicator to you that you are much closer to discovering what you want to do than you think. You know what places NOT to look now, this is a tremendous time saver and puts you ahead of the majority of people in your age group. Realize the pressure, hopelessness, and guilt you feel from not having it all figured out already is just bullshit cultural conditioning. There is nothing wrong with living a nomadic sort of lifestyle. You are doing a lot of work discovering who you are, be proud of that Austin
  12. Polarization is such a plague these days, ugh. Why is it always love or hate for every teacher? Nobody cares what you think about Jordan Peterson. Just take what lessons you can and leave the rest.
  13. You seem to be taking it remarkably well, but still I hope you get your freedom back soon. Love you!
  14. I'd still be inclined to say MMA, UFC, or football are more dangerous, but yea I wouldn't want to get smacked by most of those big Russian dudes lol. I find stuff like this really interesting. It goes to show you just what lengths humans will go to to express their creativity. I mean a community and league around turning slapping into a sport?!?!?! That's random as hell and awesome! Everything in the world at some point will be turned into a bustling community of some kind. It's like infinite expression.
  15. Great exercise I like it! It should be obvious to most people though that Spiral Dynamics is too painfully simplistic a model to give an accurate view of people and the world. Too many people in this community throw this thing around as if it can explain everything and can get just generally dismissive of everything else. Even Leo is guilty of this intellectual laziness sometimes.
  16. Now that's a healthy relationship, good on you.
  17. With the coronavirus pandemic going on, obviously we are going through an unprecedented once in a lifetime event. It has massively changed, halted, or sadly ended a lot of peoples lives, and it's clearly not over yet. Naturally with all this disruption and seemingly negative impact it's having on the world economy, people are upset and looking for someone or something to blame. Considering the viruses geographic origins, a lot of that blame is being placed on China. Of course it did originate in China, and there are a lot of reports and speculation about how it could have been contained better or stopped right there, but did not because of negligence and corruption. That may very well be true. Regardless and in spite of what evidence may upend itself now or in the future, I want to issue a sort of spiritual challenge to everyone. I want you to love China, the Chinese people, and their government. Express compassion, kindness, and understanding even if it goes against your gut and your mind. If you see any anti-Chinese sentiment, don't argue with it, don't participate in it. Simply notice it, absorb it, then be counter-intuitive and do what no one expects put your love for China out to the world. Also happy birthday @Leo Gura, thanks for all your hard work and insights. I appreciate and love you!
  18. No please stay @belen! If ever there has been a good reason to derail a conversation a horny woman is it! haha jk
  19. I'm a guy and I've had instances of multiple orgasms before. It's extremely rare though. What I would give for some consistency...........
  20. It affects the sexual marketplace for sure. Most men will have sex with anything that has legs or a pulse, while women are much more selective. This is not only true scientifically but it's anecdotally obvious as well. This causes imbalances where many statistics indicate that women are the "gatekeepers of sex" you could say, because there is excessive demand for sex (from the male side), and women control the supply (because it's their right to say no). I don't think this is necessarily a problem like many Red Pill sexists would have you believe. The "dissatisfaction" is mostly self imposed. Of course there is the biological wiring factor, but still young men need to be educated better on how to control their urges and respect women in healthier ways, and also taught that despite what our toxic culture would have you believe, sex is pretty low on the fulfillment chart on life. Once you have a lot of sex you realize while it can be really fun, it's not all it's hyped up to be. There are way cooler things in life.
  21. Alright so I watch the film. Wow, paints a pretty stark picture. I never imagined just how perverse things are. I'm a little disgusted. The speech and scene at the end with the orangutans made me cry pretty hard. I'm glad I watched this, I have a renewed surge for my green attitudes and habits I need to clean up.
  22. @Leo Gura I'm kind of curious, when planning and starting Actualized.Org, how "all-in" were you with the idea of YouTube and videos being income generators (and a career) for you? Was it something you were extremely committed to making work or did you just start slow and kept pushing once you realized it was gaining momentum? Of course it's a great free marketing platform. But there is a lot of luck involved as well, the algorithms sometimes just don't work out for people despite how much effort they put in. So many great quality channels and content creators get buried under the saturation of the market. Just interested in what your experience was in this regard, would your Actualized.Org project have changed radically if YouTube didn't become a big thing for you? Thanks in advance.
  23. It just depends on the kind of lifestyle you want to live. Really narrow that down and know the details, know exactly how much that is gonna cost, how much free time do you want for yourself, or how much autonomy do you want at your job so you don't have that feeling of being a "work slave". If you have the classic desire to have 2000sqft house in the suburbs, raise 2-3 children, drive new vehicles, and go on 2 week vacations to the tropics every year. You are gonna need a lot of money for that in this day and age, and the only way most people know how to do that is get a classic job and grind and grind away so you can afford all that stuff, or get lucky enough to become a supervisor or boss in that pyramid scheme lol. If you have really low standards like you mentioned though your example was the most extreme, then it's more and more affordable to escape the wage slavery. Personally I'd be happy with $50,000-$60,000 a year (in Canada), enough to live sparsely but comfortably, to build a tiny sustainable home, adopt 1 kid, and work as a life coach 20-30 hours a week so I have more time to be with my girlfriend and to pursue my hobbies and travel. It really depends on your standards to be honest. I don't think there is necessarily anything "wrong" with most wage slave jobs. Working normal jobs this day and age is definitely easier than it was in the past. The problem is most people in the West are culturally conditioned with bullshit ideas about what it takes to live the "American Dream" and they never question those standards. They just throw themselves into the meat grinder that is the modern capitalist system. Go into debt to get a nice car, go into debt to get a nice house, go into debt to pay for child care because parents can't afford to not work. It's becoming less and less affordable for not only our health but the planet.
