If you know some more benefits of OBEs then I would be happy to hear about them -

How to reliably have OBEs If you want to induce an OBE (lucid dream, astral projection or soul travel) you need total body relaxation, then wait till you are in sleep paralysis then usually wait for the vibrations and then you can exit the body. You need your body to fall asleep while your mind stays awake. This is very difficult. Even if a beginner manages to do that, it will usually take more than an hour. Even for advanced people it takes usually 10-30+ minutes and doesn't have a 70+ success rate for most. I believe Hypnosis is the key. And there are 2 ways: 1.Esdaile State If you are able to enter the Eadaile State you have won. If you have anchored it you can enter it in less than 10 seconds. Thus you also immediately have perfect body and mental relaxation, more than what is required for OBEs. Most importantly you are very deep in trance, and you are already somewhat disconnected from your physical body, so it's relatively easy to induce an OBE from there. Particularly if you are in REM. Just set several alarms during the night which turn themselves off after a few seconds. Upon awakening, you go into the Esdaile State, then you should almost immediately perceive the vibrations and then be thrown into an OBE. The success rate should be very high. If you do a WBTB then it should also be very easy because you are in or close to REM. Doing it during the day will probbaly take a bit longer but should also be easy with practice. The problem is, there is close to no information about it anywhere. And I'm not there yet so I can't talk from direct experience yet. But Marco Lorenz says that you can very quickly induce OBEs from the Esdaile State even during the day. It is also possible to anchor the disconnect from the physical body, the shifting of your consciousness into a etheric body. So in case you have difficulties inducing OBEs from the Esdaile State during the day, then first practice during REM and anchor the disconnect. 2. Anesthesia and Amnesia First of all I would use hypnosis to achieve the body and mental relaxation needed for OBEs. A stepping stone to OBEs is sleep paralysis, so why not fake it with catalepsy? Even more powerful: Induce whole-body anesthesia (inability to feel/sense your body). Then it should be easy to get into the natural sleep paralysis. One more step would be to induce body amnesia, so that you have forgotten that you even have a physical body. But you need perfect anesthesia for this to work, or you would need to be distracted from your physical body like through visualizations. The nice thing is, that the body, mental relaxation, anesthesia and amnesia can - just like every hypnotic phenomon- be anchored. So you can induce them within a few seconds once you have them firmly anchored. If you want you can make a script including them. OBE Visualizations and Dimensional Shifts Visualizations can be seen as a bridge between the physical world and other worlds. If you want, you can visualize yourself being in a visualized/etheric body somewhere else once you are in the Esdaile State or have your body in anesthesia (and amnesia). Here I wrote about turning visualizations into full OBEs: Now I write an upgraded version. 1. Before you start the visualizations, go into the Esdaile State or have your body in anesthesia (and amnesia). 2. make the visualizations more powerful through what I call dimensional shifts. I got the idea from Marco Lorenz, he calls it Phasenverschiebung. But I have improved the concept. worlds within worlds: I don't know how it's called but in hypnisis is a concept that if you visualize a scene and then visualize how you go a layer deeper, it can create the illusion that you are actually deeper and further away from the physical reality. It's like inception, a dream within a dream. Many people report having dreams which appear like dreams within dreams. Dreams within dreams are not possible (as far as I know) but when you create the illusion of a dream within a dream it can feel that way. Two ways of creating the illusion Falling asleep. So you visualize how you fall asleep on a bed, and have a dream. Then you can fall asleep in that dream and wake up in another dream You visualize going through some kind of portal. I prefer a picture, laptop or tv screen. Because that creates the illusion of being in a world within a world. So I would visualize how I stand in front of a tv and see a scene where another me is doing something. Then I would visualize being drawn into the screen into the second body. How to make the illusion more convincing: Stay completely focused in your visualizations. Therefore anesthesia and amnesia are nice. Going back: Let's say you are 3 layers deep and want to go back. Then you DON'T just open your physical eyes. In order to do that you first have to go back layer for layer. I would do it this way: Dreams within dreams: Fall asleep in dream 1 in a lets say blue bed. wake up in dream 2 in a blue bed. Then fall asleep in a green bed and wake up in dream 3 in a green bed. Then to get out, you fall asleep in dream 3 in a green bed, wake up in dream 2 in a green bed, fall asleep in a blue bed and wake up un dream 1 in a blue bed then fall again asleep in another bed and wake up (or pretending to wake up if you weren't actually asleep) in your real bed. TVs within TVs: in layer 1 you have a red wristband. In layer 2 your layer 2 body has a orange wristband. In order to get back you must take off the wristband, then immediately notice how you are sucked out of your body, now see the scene from a 3rd person point of view, then see the scene + the body you just left in the tv screen while now being in layer 2 in your layer 2 body with the red wristband. Forget the previous layer. If you forget your previous layers and are fully focused in the visualizations then you forget your physical body and that you are visualizing, which will make it easier for the visualizations to turn into real OBEs. You could for example anchor amnesia with a gray fog. Then when you wake up in a dream within a dream, you visually how the bed dissolves behind a grey fog. False memories: To make that even more powerful, you can create false memories (like what people sometimes have in lucid dreams). So after having forgotten the bed and that you woke up, you implant yourself a false memory how you for example walked to that place. Hallucinations: The more vivid the visualizations the better. When visualizations are as vivid as real life then they can be called hallucinations. It is possible to induce hallucinations through hypnosis but it is extremely difficult and I could hardly find anything online about it. But for example Zach Pincince has his hypnotees believe that he is their favourite celebrity. So do they hallucinate the celebrity? It's probably that they still see Zach but believe that he is the celebtrity. So what he is doing isn't actual hallucination but rather a mind trick. But if he can convince them to believe that he is their favorite celebrity then it should also be possible to trick our minds to believe that our visualizations are (as vivid as) real life. But it will be difficult. All of that is not necessary if you are good at getting into the Esdaile State or inducing whole-body anesthesia. But if you are interested in turing visualizations into full OBEs then it might be helpful. -

Thanks to @Spiral Wizard I also made some new very important discoveries. If you want to deliberately induce an OBE you have to stay still till your body enters sleep paralysis and often the vibrational stage as well. 99% of people do this by lying down, perhaps doing a meditative technique, and waiting till SP and the vibrations start, which can easily take more than an hour if you are a beginner and that is given you manage to do everything right. Even if you are advanced, this techniques still takes usually 10-30 minutes and the success rate is below 70% for most. Therefore I was so thrilled about John Kreiter's technique. Once you have decent visualization skills and somewhat mastered the technique you should be able to induce OBEs more quickly and far more reliably. But it takes far longer to master. And it doesn't directly adress most of the problems. John Kreiter's technique still has value, but I believe there is a more powerful way: deep hypnosis. One way is to go into the Esdaile State, which isn't as hard as it seems. Once you have anchored it, you can enter the Esdaile State in less than 10 seconds. And from there it's relatively easy to induce OBEs. I will soon write in more detail about it. -

That will strongly depend on what spirits he asks. There are hardly any neutral spirits, and they do a good job conceiling that. -

@Bryanbrax Nice posts When I do these visualizations, and focus on dual awareness, I can easily do simple things like scratching my physical body while keeping focused on the visualizations, but stuff like texting is too difficult for me. Are you able to do it? And do you aim to enter sleep paralysis to turn the visualizations into full OBEs or do you prefer the dual awareness of the visualizations? -
GreenWoods replied to Matt8800's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It depends on how you define "spirits". Let's call them inorganic life forms. Some are the result of an individual or the collective. These are thought forms. But there also exist many spirits that exist independently from humanity. Like a different species. Yes to all questions. -

John Kreiter has written a new book! "The Way of the Projectionist: Alchemy’s Secret Formula to Altered States and Breaking the Prison of the Flesh" It's the continuation of "The Magnum Opus" Paperback: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B088SMFNRY/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1590223985&sr=8-4 It seems like the e-book version is currently not available on amazon.com, but you can get it on amazon.de -

I agree with what you wrote. I was already suspicous about some things Brian is doing, like why does he need 100 000 pounds to live stream David Icke when he can use bitchute for free? Or why do you have to give your email in order to see the David Icke Interview? When this clearly means that many people won't see it only because of the email requirement. But I never expected what is exposed in the video. Thanks for posting! I see these possibilities: A: Brian is not scamming people. He is doing these things for good reasons. Like what he says in this video (starts at 2:15): Hopefully he uses the money for purposes like paying lawyers to make youtube stop censor videos (which he says he plans to do). The issue might resolve ifself once Brian answers to the criticism. B: Brian and David Icke are both crazy and in for the money. C: David isn't in on it. Brian is controlled opposition. When he is exposed, David can easiliy be blamed as well and discredited. -
I'm surprised to see how even open-minded people immediately reject the idea that aliens might be on earth. - Probabilities What is the probability that there are aliens out there? What is the probability that some of them are more advanced than us and are advanced enough to visit us? Is there a chance that they would visit as in a way that we don't notice them? - Evidence Probably millions of UFO sightings. OBE reports talking about aliens NDE reports talking about aliens Remote Viewing reports talking about aliens Some Psychedelics reports talking about aliens Many thousand alien abduction reports Some psychic people seeing aliens chanelled material confirming about aliens. Countless ancient scriptures hint at aliens The majority is probably fake or by deluded people, but all of it? Interesting is that a lot of what people report corresponds to what others report. For example: The Reptilians and the Grays are probably the most commonly reported aliens. They are described in a similar way from most of the above-mentioned sources/reports. I let you decide to evaluate the probability that aliens might actually be here on earth.

I wasn't sure whether OBEs are competitive with psychedelics, but now I'm very confident that everything you can reach with psychedelics, you can reach with OBEs as well. Psychedelics are still superior because you can just take them, but if you want an alternative to psychedelics, then OBEs are probably your best bet. It will take a lot of practice but eventually it won't make a difference whether you plug 5meo or have an OBE and induce an awakening from that state. At least according to my current understanding. -

@Zenrool Building up dream recall alone can already get you lucid, because the better your dream reacll the more conscious you are during your dreams and thus have a greater chance of getting lucid . But I recommend you add more techniques such as reality checks. If you have alarms during the night then you could also try your luck with DEILDs and definitely go back to sleep with the intention to get lucid. OBEs definitely can be as vivid as normal life. As a beginner, they will probably be less vivid, but when you are advanced, you can have OBEs which are even more vivid than normal life. -

I think every stage has conspiracy theorists. A lot of conspiracy theorists fall into a lot of traps and thus end up believing things which are probably not true. These are on Stage Green and below. Those conspiracy theorists who open-mindedly look at both sides and come to a conclusion that one side is more likely than the other (based on evidence) are on Stage Yellow or above. If someone says that a conspiracy theorist can not be at stage Yellow, then that person is by definition below stage Yellow. -

@Bryanbrax Thank you for your posts. A lot of useful info! That link unfortunately doesn't work... That seems to be the same like the OBE visualizations by John Kreiter. Nice hunt indeed, I couldn't find any sources about OBE visualizations except John Kreiter. Where do you have that information from? Though I'm afraid it takes quite a while till the visualizations become vivid and real, that happens only once you are in sleep paralysis, as far as I know. -

@Spiral Wizard Thank you I guess having an open third eye will probably have a positive effect on lucid dreams. And decalcifying your pineal gland is also said to be helpful. I think what he says is true. Except perhaps that you can lucid dream as long as you want (without practice). But I doubt that you will have the same results by just watching a satsang by his guru. I think you would have to be initiated in person. Though perhaps the satsang works too. -
A stop on censorship. Then we would even have freedom of speech.

Notes and Updates: DEILDs I have had almost 20 DEILDs so far. But I expected far more. Most of the time it just doesn't work. Michael says in his book The Phase that you shouldn't practice more than twice a week or you will have too little motivation/intention/aggression and therefore won't succeed. I stopped my many-alarm-clocks routine long ago, because of Michael's advice and because I was getting sick often. I think the main reasons for that were other variables but the alarm clocks might have worsened it. Currently I do the many-alarm-clock routine every now and then. Last time I wrote, that I do the DEILD visualizations in a corner of a made up house. But I found that doing the movements - or wahtever you try to do to induce the DEILD - in your bed is far more effective. So I keep my focus in my physical body. But visualize etheric arms and make noise with them (eg. by shaking rattles). Basically similar to Michael's indirect technique. If you are interested in DEILDs you really have to get his book the Phase. I also think that trying to re-enter the dream you just left might be more powerful than I thought. I sometimes give it a try if the visualizations fail. DEILD after a lucid dream: "If you are within a lucid dream and you feel yourself starting to wake up/losing the dream, don't try to fight it or hold onto the dream. Immediately, lay down and close your eyes. Even if you are still in the dream environment, but feel the dream starting to slip away, just lay down right there and close yours eyes. Now, keep your eyes closed and stay as relaxed as possible. Try not to move much at all. If you do, its not the end of the world, but since you were lucid and prepared to DEILD, just lay still and calm. Try to keep your mind "quiet" by just relaxing and just observing the process. Much like during a normal WILD, you don't want to do anything. Just lay there relaxed and let the natural process do all the work for you. You will be able to feel it in your body as you wake up and then slip right back into sleep. Most of the time, in my experience, the DEILD process only takes a few short moments. Sometimes there is a WILD-like transition with a few brief hallucinations, but most of the time, you just wake and then go right back into the dream. Most of the time I either end up right there in the dream environment that I initially laid down in, or I'm in my bed/place of rest that I actually fell asleep in. If you think you failed, be sure to perform a few RCs" https://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initiated-lucid-dreams-wild/143768-kingyoshis-complete-wilding-guide-all-my-techniques-secrets-revealed-wild-deild-wbtb-more.html I have tried it 2 times at the end of DILDs so far and it worked at both times (without visualizations). I also tried it at the end of the following two DEILDs but I couldn't do it because they ended too abruptly. Decide that you will remain still and start your visualizations EVERYTIME after you wake up. So eventually you should automatically do it. -
He is saying things based on evidence from alternative sources which are not allowed into mainstream. I don't think that his evidence is strong enough to fully support his conclusions, but strong enough that we question the mainstream version and dig deeper into alternative perspectives. The same scientists who said the earth is flat a couple of centuries ago and now say that psychedelics are dangerous and sprituality bullshit?

I found another quote by John Kreiter " it is possible to exist in other realities where time moves at a different rate. One could for example inhabit a world where weeks in that world are only hours in this one. Being able exist, even for a small time, in this world can allow a person to live and develop a great deal of experience in what would seem to be a very short period of physical time. One could travel to this place for an hour of physical time and yet spend many days doing something in that other world that they may like." https://johnkreiter.com/out-of-body-experiences-quickly-and-easily/ -

Notes and Updates: OBE Visualizations When I started this thread I thought that the way you get into SP (sleep paralysis) is by increasing your visualization skills (making them more vivid). But now I think after a certain point of visualization skills, it's mainly about focus. I think 100 hours of visualization practice should be more than enough. After that point it's just a matter of focus. Let's say you have around 80 minutes to practice each day, then I would recommend a WORKOUT PLAN like that: - 30-50 min OBE visualizations in one go. Eyes closed, not moving and primarily ragarding it as a concentration practice. That means try to have your full focus in the visualized world, try to get drawn back to your physical body as rarely as possible, and try to have as little thoughts as possible. - 5-10 min OBE visualizations with open eyes - 5-10 minutes seeing visualizations (first 2-5 min eyes closed then 2-5 min open, or however you like). Regarding it as a concentration practice, as few thoughts as possible. - 1-5 min hearing. - 5-10 min energetic absorption (bone breathing) from John Kreiters Magnum Opus book. - 5-10 min energetic re-absorption. (once you are good at the absorption technique) - During the entire day energetic containment: whenever you have (negative) emotions and thus radiate that energy outward, draw it in with bone breathing and store it in your cauldron. And whenever there are negative energies released by other people, draw that in also. - 5 min inner feeling sense (book: Magnum Opus). In the past weeks, I did probably 2-3 hours daily. But on most of the days, the visualizations were very unproductive because I was distracted by more intersting thoughts. But now I'm back on track and want to practice 2-4 hours daily with maximum concentration The vividness of seeing hasn't improved much. I think if you really want to improve seeing you should isolate it and visualize an unmoving image for some minutes (with eyes closed and then open). Difficulty: It is extremely hard to stand on my right leg and it got therefore difficult to walk. It's like I'm always sucked to the left. Very frustrating. But it's slowly getting better. I wrote that you might start seeing your actual physical environment after 100-350 hours. But only if you spend that time in an actual physical environment and not in the Grey Zone. I spent probably around a 100 hours doing that, but stopped because I don't care that much about it for now, my first goal is sleep paralysis. It also requires that you gradually increase the difficulty, that means, starting in your room, then house, then work place, then friends' houses, your town, a place you visited a couple of times, a place you visted once and finally a place you never visted before. I messed that up and mostly stayed in my parents' house. The OBE visualization technique has several advantages, but I think for the vast majority the normal technique where you wait for SP and the vibrations - basically WILD - is by far the better option. If you try WILD, then you will get into SP far quicker then with the OBE visualizations. I would recommend the OBE visualization technique only if your goal is very long-term and very big. Because it takes more time, but once you got it, it's superior to WILD, at least that's what I believe. I began to regard concentration as very important. If you don't do the OBE Visualizations and go for the WILD instead, I would also recommend that you work on your focus skills with a concentration practice AND the energy techniques from the Magnum Opus. If you want to have Astral Projections or lucid dreams as quickly as possible, I would recommend you look into WILD, DEILD and FILD. - EDIT: I once wrote not to interact with your environment when you are not in the Grey Zone in order to not mix the Grey Zone with actual physical reality so that you will start to perceive physical reality more quickly. Currently I don't care so much about that, therefore I do many of my visualizations in actual places and I interact with them (thus I'm in the Grey Zone). Because memories of actual places are more vivid than an imagined place (like one I wrote some weeks ago), even if you have spent many hours there. Therefore it is easier to get absorbed and enter sleep paralysis when you are in actual places. I guess doing E's APs and the inner feeling sense practise will help to perceive the actual environment (in case you are interested in that). -

Entering SLEEP PARALYSIS with the Double Body Visualizations Once you can get into sleep paralysis with your double body visualizations, you can have full-blown OBEs whenever you want. Once in sleep paralysis, it should be as real and vivid as a dream or a normal astral projection. So at this point, you have finally made it - Energy/Attention Sleep paralysis will only set in if you are completely focused on your double body visualization and forgot about your organic body. So it's all about your ability to focus. "[...] it's about developing a laser-like and unwavering focus in the new location." - John Kreiter, in his OBE book page 96,97 John Kreiter's book The Magnum Opus is all about energy/attention. The book contains some powerful excercises how to absorb and re-absorb (from the past) energy and to store it. This is one of the most important books one can read because energy is fundamental to anything. Whether you want to learn for an exam in school or try OBEs, your level of energy is crucial for how successful you are. Energy can be somewhat equated with attention. Here some quotes on energy on page 115: "Everything is fundamentally about how much extra energy you have, because the only way to perform what some would call miracles is to have enough energy to actually do it." "[...] it is seldom mentioned that what is most important in waking up in dreams or in being able to induce trance states is personal energy." "[...] you may be successful to some degree depending on the amount of energy at your disposal at the time, but you will never have the consistency or power that you want until you have absorbed, re-absorbed, and stored enough energy." The more I do the double body visualizations, the more I realize how important this energy/attention is. If I had a lot of stored energy, I could probably easily enter sleep paralysis. Therfore I think that his energy techniques are very important. So I think that a big factor determining whether you can enter sleep paralysis with the double body visualizations is your level of energy/focus. Here are 2 other factors: 1. Vividness of your Visualization The more vivid your visualizations, the more real this other reality becomes, the more you shift into it. I would guess that the realness roughly depends on: Seeing: 36% Movement and feeling your body: 29% Hearing: 17% Touching: 14% Smell: 4% (I find taste to be counterproductive because it draws my attention to my organic mouth) The more of them you can do at once, the more immersive it gets: Seeing: always see something Movement and feeling your body: Always try to internally feel your body and to move (limbs or the whole body) as often as possible Hearing: Try to make sounds as often as possible. If you are advanced, you might be able to have a constant background sound Touching: Touch things as often as possible. And be as often as possible aware of how your feet are touching the ground. Smell: Try to smell something as often as possible. 2. Engaging Environment The less boring your environment, the easier it is to stay focused and to forget about your organic body. I would say there are 2 places where you can do your visualizations: On earth. Upside: You can go to places which are very familiar (like your house) and therefore you have a good memory of them which ensures a constant seeing. Downside: you can't interact with it. In the Grey Zone (where dreams happen). Upside: You can interact and create engaging scenarios. Downside: you need to consciously create something which requires effort and might be distracting, thus it's easier to lose focus. I choose the second. In order to deal with the downside, I plan to create an engaging environment (which takes many hours). Then I will have a place that is engaging and I don't need to spend any time/focus on creating more. So the plan is to create an environment where you can be in for at least an hour without getting too bored and which is engaging. I am creating a house with many rooms which enable things to do. - Rooms: living room, bath room, etc. A shelther for many different animals Terrace, balcony Giant aquarium with big fish Playground with a swing, sliding board, etc Cellar, workshop kitchen with a blender, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, mixer,... Bowling alley, climbing wall, swimming pool, jumping castle, gym A shop garden with plants Try to programme every room with a particular smell. - Tasks: cooking, baking cleaning (washing up the dishes, sweeping,...) sports (skateboard, surfing, skiing, boxing, working out, biking, tennis, basketball, paddling,....) . At my current stage, I find that when I do sports, my organic body often slightly twitches or tenses up so If you want to get into sleep paralysis then avoid stark movements. making fire writing (you can make use of that time by writing affirmations), painting playing instruments, watching tv shopping gardening, growing your plants and harvesting them feeding the many animals and mucking out screwing, sawing sword combat getting dressed, showering doing the laundry For example if you want to cook something, you first need to get eggs and milk from the animals and harvest plants in your garden, thus you are engaged for some time without worrying what to do next. But I would recommend to first make your visualizations more vivid and then work on creating an engaging environment. And then I would try not to spend to much time in that environment or it will get too boring but also not to spend too little or it will lack details. I do almost all my visualizations while lying and usually try not to move. - Entering Sleep Paralysis without Double Body Visualizations It is definitely easier and quicker to enter sleep paralysis with the normal method and WILD. But I think that after many many hours, the double body visualizations will outbeat the WILD technique. If you want to have lucid dreams and astral projections every now and then, then I would recommend you do the WILD technique and not waste your time with the double body visualizations. But if you want total control and are interested in all of the benefits of OBEs I mentioned on the last page, then I would recommend the double body visualizations (and the Explorer's Astral Projection as well, depending on what you want). -

@Thomas_VH @Bryanbrax That's great! Seems like you are particularly sensitive to these influences (like the moon). And yes, WBTBs noticably increase the chances of DILDs.
