  1. "first Leo´s teachings" insert biblical meme.
  2. What i like about obsidian is the custom made plugins that change the UI itself. Meaning a developer can make any changes to the software vai a plugin. Onenote also has plugins but freedom is limited, but it does have more big company integrations.
  3. Cheap solution, only thing i would change is to make the air pass trow a hepa filter first, then the carbon. It will clear out mustard gas lmao, that house is going to be prepped and ready for WW3.
  4. Get a quiet one with a big activated charcoal bed (thick or multiple). Should do the trick. The DIY ones are very cheap to make, but in my experience i couldn't find a way to make them quiet.
  5. Hepa air purifiers with activated charcoal.
  6. Was in a similar situation, solutions. 1) He needs to have a emotional realization that what hes doing is hurting other people. "Omg what have i been doing to my family...." a depression kind of insight, where hes kicking himself. No idea how to make this happen. You need to love him into changing. This is honestly the only realistic way. 2) Move out. 3) install multiple air exchangers around the house (swapping indoor and our door air) or buy a industrial air purified with multiple activated charcoal beds (noize and expensive) or keep windows opened at all times if possible 4) Convince him to switch to E-cigs, really sell it, make sure he knows about all the amazing flavours and options... 5) Convince him to smoke in the garage or out a window or in the kitchen exhaust ventilators (fan above the stove) All aggression basically doesn't work for any reason, its just fighting, they will double down, it strengthens their position. In my situation i opened every window in the house every time they smoked, dead of winter. I made sure if i was being poisoned by inhaling there smoke, then they where going to freeze as i cleared it out of the house. They of course didn't see the fairness of it. Its all about them, they dont see how second hand smoke is poisonous, completely blind to it. Its unconscious devilry. If your allowed to smoke in the house then i should be allowed to clear it out? Simple logic? Not for smokers. If your doing something to me that i dont like, then i should be able to do something to you that you dont like? Fairness? If you try this with your dad, he will probably say something like "its my house, i make the rules, when you get your own house you c an do wtv you want" "if you dont like it move out". This is basicly how fighting plays out in the end.
  7. @SirVladimir Any examples of this happening? From what i can tell every enlightened guru still retains their born strengths and weaknesses. It just manifests in a different way.
  8. Focus on having normal confident conversations with people not sweeping them off their feat into a fantasy romance. If there is chemistry it will naturally evolve into something more as long as you have some sense to move it along from there. This is assuming the strategy is not pick up, thats a very different game. Might also be worth doing.
  9. @Max_V Hey, as an autistic who got his first gf later in life then most people do, i can say you just need some experience to boost your confidence. Once you rip the bandade off it gets alot easier. In my situation major social anxiety and fears that caused me to second guess if a girl was flirting with me, kept me a virgin. The only thing that got me out of it was a girl basically forced herself onto me. The reason this even happened in the first place was because i had been focusing all my energy on self development and with that built up my body to an athletic level (it matters) as well as posture confidence, body coordination and tonal voice confidence (even if faked). If you have insurmountable anxiety it might make sense to focus on the things you can control. Knowing how to stand and speak confidently and building a strong athletic body makes it basically impossible to be single for long. Best part is it can be practiced everyday and improvement comes quickly.
  10. @Hansu What mattress would you recommend?
  11. 1) Why is it stressful on the body? Is it possible to keep taking it for months? 2) Sounds like the moment the chelator is not available the remaining heavy metals will be redistributed? Is there a proper way to end a round? Would it makes sense when intentionally stopping a round to first stop the ALA intake, but continue DMSA and DMPS, then slowly reduce the dosage? Is this safer? 3) Would it make sense to use a IV? The solution would contain, ala, dmsa, zinc, molybdenum in the right dosages for constant steady supply. Avoiding the need to wake up in the middle of the night, or worrying about /missing a dosage? 4) Does a mercury dialysis machines exist? So to filter the blood only of the released toxins and leave the other nutrients as is? 5) Ala: https://shopvibrantlife.com/products/alpha-lipoic-acid-ala-100mg?_pos=1&_sid=6248804e5&_ss=r DMSA: https://www.supersmart.com/en/shop/liver-detoxification/dmsa-supplement-0248 Are these products good? Any oversights here? 6) 12.5mg ALA 12.5mg DSMA 8mg zinc 200mcg molybdenum Taken every 3 hours together. Is this a effective method? Am i missing anything potential dangerous? Also thanks for the help, really helpful!
  12. @The0Self Why take DMSA and DMPS then? is the problem taking to much ala at one time? What causes the redistribution? Slow bowel movement reabsorption?
  13. 70% of Rich Families Lose Their Wealth by the Second Generation Why does this happen? How does it happen? "Indeed, 70% of wealthy families lose their wealth by the second generation, and a stunning 90% by the third, according to the Williams Group wealth consultancy"
  14. Found it, the absolute Holy grail yellow video. Tell me when you get it :).
  15. From the rational reductionist point of you.
  16. @Gesundheit hmm it seems your reducing everything to social systems. Yes if there are no opportunities and the system is designed to make sure you can never succeed, then mindset plays a limited role, but in first world countries with opportunities, its about mindset. Mindset???????
  17. "What do you do for a living?" -> "Im homeless" sitting in supercar... how?
  18. I would be equally frustrated by that mattress, if possible return it and go for a non-toxic eco-friendly mattresses. Your all ready doing research on this, so keep going, there are some good companies out there that know about this problem. The wife seems like the go with the flow agreeable type, a good one, but terrible at making these kind of decisions. You know whats best.
  19. @Gesundheit It seems i didn't think this one through enough. What your saying makes sense. Poverty as a mind set is still a thing doe, just not the way i tried to point it out. As in if we take a rich person strip them of everything, they will bounce back as long as they are in a first world country with opportunities. The bottom comment explains abit more. They are educated. While poor people in rich countries are poor because they know nothing. Life conditions.
  20. @Zeitgeist Seems we are talking from different perspectives here. "i" perspective: mindset "systems" perspective: circumstance I agree with what your saying. It seems what your describing is a extreme condition of circumstance. Theres a spectrum from very unfavourable to very favourable. Mindset is the same way.
  21. Thats true, there are some circumstances that are pretty bad. but we still have poor people in first world countries. Even given opportunity a poor person remains poor. If we gave a million dollars to everyone here, we will quickly realize that its not so simple to hold on to it. Rich first world capitalist systems are not built to help you magically grow your wealth, they are built to take every dollar you have as quickly as possible. People that earned that million know how its made, they know how to keep it and how to grow it. They know how to make money.
  22. If we take any millionaire or billionaire, strip them of all their money and contacts and trow them into a 3rd world country with 1.90$ a day to survive on. They will come out of it as millionaires in a few years. Because they know exactly how to be rich. yeee, not saying poverty is their fault, im saying in the end their poor because they had no opportunities to learn how not to be. Their tuck at lower levels of development do to circumstance.
  23. Trying to make better sense of Vision Logic. Been thinking of how it would look like if applied to chess. Normally playing chess involves switching between 2 modes of thought. 1) Detailed View Calculation: linear logic, zoomed in, Step by step future visualization, solve tactical outcomes, goal is to prove that what you believe to be a good move is true. 2) Big Picture View Intuition: Exploring ideas, plans, strategies, memory, stress, time, practicality... Big picture Intuition is used to reveal candidate moves, does moves are then calculated into the future to prove it, avoid mistakes. After detailed calculation, resurface to big picture view with new insights that then reveal more candidate moves. Repeat, circular. Understanding of the position grows with each iteration. The longer you look at it the more you see basically lol... Im excluding alot of detail here but thats generally what the experience of the chess player is like, at least for me. -------------------- So the question is, how can Vision Logic be used here and what would it look like? Ideally id like use chess as a instrument to practice Vision Logic and maybe make a meta-map of it? Looking for any insights into this. My guess is calculation linear logic is replaced with a form of intuitive logic. Exploring the future is no longer linear. Maybe exploring the future is no longer needed, can it all be done on the surface? ------------------- "The cognitive stage necessary to support integral consciousness. Typically subdivided into early, middle, and late vision-logic. Early vision-logic differentiates reality into relativistic systems, while middle and late vision-logic add up and integrate those perspectives into systems of systems. Vision-logic is often referred to as the first “postformal” stage of cognitive development since it is immediately beyond or “after” formal operational cognition. However, it is not yet “transrational,” but rather the limit of rational thought. Vision-logic is, in a sense, the bridge between the mental and the transmental." ------------------ Give me some of that trasmental chess please...
  24. Alot of answer here, but maybe the most obvious one was omitted. Poverty is a mind set. Beyond all the circumstances that made them poor and kept them poor, they remain poor because they know nothing about accumulating wealth. When a poor person wins the lottery or inherits they squander it. Rich get richer because they know how to be rich. Poor people dont.
  25. I remember Alexander Alekhine blind fold chess was amazing, he described it as not seeing any image of the board in his head, he just knew where the pieces where. Thats very different then what most people would discribe as "visualizing".
