Fix the root of the problem, antidepressants do not balance brain chemistry long-term. Start with probiotics and gut health, all of the serotonin in the brain is produced by the gut microbiome. Look for causes of the imbalance and work with a functional medical practitioner to figure this out. Traditional western doctor do not have knowledge of this or the answers that will help you, use them as a tool to take tests.

never take antidepressants it's a misguided treatment. Why addict people to a drug that will have no effect in six months and there forced to continue taking it Or else experience hell. don't look for easy solutions from a pill.

have you watched Leo's series on how to get laid?

I understand how you feel. The issue is you guys are actually speaking past each other. He means no ill will, its a matter of world views clashing. I've been trying to help bridge the gap for him. -

if we imagine beliefs like a pyramid where at the bottom are simple beliefs like colours and shapes and then those beliefs support more complex beliefs on top of it. Foundational beliefs at the first level and then on the second layler are more complex beliefs that only exist if we assume the first layer of beliefs are true, and then the third layer can only exist if the second layer is true. so in this analogy all our beliefs are built on top of each other. and if we remove or prove wrong one of the foundational beliefs at the bottom, the entire pyramid collapses and we need to put everything into question. it's a knowledge graph or it's a dependency graph. The person that was constructed by its environment biologically and ideologically created foundational beliefs unconsciously without questioning them. these beliefs were put there by culture and by parenting and by life experiences and by genetics. each stage in spiral dynamics is a complete change in the first layer foundational beliefs. and so they are constructing a completely different pyramid. can't we also say that the fact that he is offended tells us that he is certain of its existence? and so we can't use his emotional state to make any conclusions it's still ambiguous. it's unfortunate that he took what you said personally because your intention was not personal you were simply stating the possibilities. maybe there was a way to phrase things a little differently. One of the issues is that you revealed your worldview and your position by making statements like "99% certainty". The default position really shouldn't be there for a clean strategy to figure this out, the default position isn't The foundation or the bottom, it's actually the top of the pyramid. Yes it could be a higher dimensional entity representing itself in etherial human form. The word ghost or spirit is being used here but I think he knows that those words are just placeholders and it could be interchangeable with anything else. He's not claiming that he understands this fully he's just genuinely communicating his experience. He's not being ideological. A thought experiment, what if the things a schizophrenic person is experiencing Is real. they simply have access to higher or different senses that the average human doesn't, they can go beyond the five senses. why are we assuming that this human biological form and the input is receiving is the whole universe? why assume that the technology humans have invented that gives insight into other senses or parts of reality is representing all of reality? If this is true how can we sit in a position waiting for evidence to present it self to us, when the evidence we are looking for comes from limited tools. 5 sense. What other ways are there of knowing something? Directly experiencing it! -

Have you looked into getting energy work done? -
Is there anything dangerous about taking 200mg of tryptophan daily? ive noticed the effects are fantastic for entering flow states, body awareness, reducing stress and mental chatter. Taking it daily for a month i believe helps in making slow rewiring of cognitive habits.

@ZenAlex The idea and the person are not separate. Its deeply intertangled. The way we think about things is influenced by the environment we grew up in, the very thing that is doing the thinking is what we need to put under the microscope. The person is as much there ideas, I'm truly giving you the answer your looking for but it looks to foreign, im also not attacking you, judging you, or dismissing your ideas, I'm answering the question you asked, but you'll only know this from experience, i understand that now and will adjust. I also realize that I might of been stressing you out, it could be experienced negatively and that always sucks to deal with, if so I apologize. True, it very well could be. How do we know? How do we find out? -
There are a lot of issue with using studies to paint a picture and pervasive cultural myths(like cholesterol = bad) and the health care industry. Not going to get into all that now, just that iron is a cultural kneejerk reaction every time a woman is dizzy. Its possible, get a check up. Also iron issues are a symptom not the root of the issue. Its so dangerous for her to go down the low iron path doctors prescribe because its misguided, they need to fix the absorption and the supplements are poisonous. Its one of does snow ball issues, when people go down this path the issues start building and building, and more misguided treatment methods are introduced, its a downward spiral that the health care industry does not recognise yet. They believe the the downward spiral is normal, instead of questioning there methods.

Your not truly open yet. "Most likely" is your paradigm and bais evaluating something to one side. Its not open mindedness. It is doe from your perspective. Open-mindedness is not to take a position and dive into it head first. The experimental and experiential method. Your blindly regurgitating your upbringing. The logic and rational mind that you see the world is what you've been fed to believe. Its the same as a religious person blindly believing what's in a book, just with most sophistication. Einstein and all the great scientists challenged there paradigms. They did not think linear rationally, they thought highly intuitively. Leo has a 3 part serious of the issues with science and rationalism: Deconstructing The Myth Of Science, this is where your journey should begin. -
Its possible there is more to it then that. I'm not going to link anything doe, the general idea is its a essential amino acid that plays a major role in hundreds of processes in the body. While 5-htp only purpose is serotonin it seems, its one path out of hundreds?

@Razard86 Making good points, masculine containment looks very different depending on the stage they are at in there health and values. Acting in the best interest of your partner takes a long while to develop.

Such a interesting perspective. Memes are a living entity evolving and replicating. This is an eco system of memes. I love practical tools: Its a tool to evaluate and craft memes for effective replication.

LMFAOO dont make me put a little something in that fish bread, youll be sure to come around. Jokes aside I was explaining what a business minded person would do with out regulations. I wouldn't scheme to addict people. Not that we already aren't doing that legally with msg. Imagine dumping millions of litters of psychedelics into the ocean like they did with mercury in unregulated countries. We would be ingesting some amount of it with everything we eat. How twisted can a green business get? If my arrogance was a few notches higher i could see myself believing i know what's best for the entire world and push a twisted green business agenda.

No im not saying he needs a girlfriend to complete him, im saying he needs to have does life experiences on his own to learn from. Explaining to him your experiences is not the same quality of a teaching as having does experiences yourself. Relationships are an amazing tool for rapid growth, on the issue of responsibility and leadership that comes with it, this is a part of masculine containment a important relationship principle that he can only learn from experience. Not having these experiences is a major issue that will come back to effect his life when hes older. Masculine containment can also be very fulfilling for some, men that don't want or cant handle these leadership and responsibilities are missing a part of there development.

Yes, what kind of hole was it?
-
Where your tires punctured? Where was the puncture? If someone is going to puncture a tire they do it with a knife on the side not on the rolling part and they might stab it more then once. So you'll know if a person did it by where the hole is.

@Carl-Richard Maybe we can set up an AI that does not have external sources to plagiarize from and ask it to introspect and differentiate all the components of its mind and explain them. This way we know the source of its knowledge is by learning from its own experiences observing its own mind. Then we can make a comparison based on its findings and our own?

It depends the drug. Silicon value is experimenting with micro dosing LSD for enhanced creativity. Full edibles at full strength yes the general population would avoid it. Micro-dosing and micro-micro-dosing is a new domain that will attract the masses. No one dies from micros and it wont be linked back to the product just like cigarettes causing death doesn't implicate the cigarette companies. Nicotine is a powerful nootropic. Oh we have forgotten the world of nootropics. Taking your morning drink of psychedelic or tryptophan will be as culturally accepted as coffee. A daily thing that "enhances" the day. What I'm talking about is what is going to happen and where the world is moving to right now. Edibles are in there infancy, it has only begun. Coffee and Nicotine where the first 2.

Ah there's a misunderstanding people will want to buy it like they want to buy Marijuana edibles. It also depends on what drugs are put in the food and the reason. If the reason is to addict people to my product with out them knowing then most people will avoid that. They will willingly choose to have there food reinforced with vitamins, minerals, supplements and drugs. Its a super Food revolution!

Cigarettes are a multi trillion dollar business, killing is not a deterrent. lol I'm also talking about micro-micro-dosage.
-
What are edibles? lol Can we have a grocery store dedicated to edibles? Can we micro-dose does edibles? Where is the line? Would people buy micro-dosed groceries? The branding and culture behind it would be something like: Elevation Food. But i was explaining a world where there where no regulations. There was no indication in the question about what "all drugs legalized" meant. It would have to be legal and regulated of course. Organized crime still needs to be managed while the substance is legal. Legal cocaine would come in a doctors prescription like it did in the past and not a cartel.

They already are, prescription medication is every unhealthy garbage legalized and backed by bullshit studies. The reason some medication have been made illegal is because they became too popular in unregulated circles and used for recreational use. they had to control the unregulated businesses built on those drugs exploiting people for profit and addicting them. but cigarettes and alcohol those are fine! lol What's the difference between a antidepressant and microdosing daily with mdma? They're essentially the same thing. what's the difference between heroin and morphine? Non besides cultural stigma. Micro dosing with psychedelics is now on the rise and will soon be made legalized and prescribable by doctors. The cultural view is changing and THC and things like it are legalized with it. GHB what a shame that it became to popular out side of regulation, its useful. we need a better way to deal with recreational use, it made no sense that they removed it from prescription because people abused it. Why aren't people abusing morphine like they do heroin? Because it's regulated. Maybe it's harder to manufacture morphine than it does heroin. if all drugs became unregulated and legal I would put it in all the food that I manufacture and sell at the grocery store and addicted people to my food, exactly what cigarettes do with their product. True freedom is regulated, naïve freedom is anarchy.
