  1. Yeah I watched that video a while back. Great video. I recommend people to check out his work
  2. Stage Blue version of "but I have a boyfriend"
  3. Great job! Your early twenties are the time to start to seperate yourself from your parents and become your own individual.
  4. 100% Worth it. If you haven't learnt to cook yet, you will (and I highly recommend that you get into a habit of cooking healthy meals for yourself.) Less of a barrier in inviting friends Loneliness just forces you to either focus more deeply on non-social things that are important to you or to go out and socialize more. Loneliness won't exist if you have no time to think about it because so you're deeply engaged with life.
  5. I usually take either 1/4 or 1/8 of a tablet (150 mg). So that's either 37.5 mg or 18.75 mg on a given day. Mostly I use it once or twice a week. Rarely I will use it day on/day off when writing my thesis for example.
  6. I guess. However on a personal level you can become a lot more sensitive and aware by just "eating junkfood with more consciousness." This is actually a good method to learn how to quit because you become aware of all the ways in which it destroys your body and mind (and makes you less conscious). So I don't think it's an unreasonable theory that people who don't need higher levels of consciousness to function, will have minds and bodies that "accept" such bad habits more.
  7. "Some people live more in 1 year than some in 100." I don't remember where I got the quote from. But what's most important is to live as fully as possible.
  8. @Mahyar Armodafinil has been amazing for me too. I've been able to work more than full-time (job, business, and work towards my life purpose). Rarely it will make me feel really anxious or extremely horny and it makes it hard to get thing done, though. I haven't been able to figure out why it has a negative effect sometimes.
  9. This is insane: https://edition.cnn.com/2022/02/04/business/jeff-bezos-rotterdam-yacht/index.html "Rotterdam may dismantle historic bridge for superyacht reportedly owned by Jeff Bezos"
  10. Your website looks neat. But well you'd have to market it. If you're okay at writing you could try writing about your creative experiences on Medium for example and build up a following. Or write tutorials etc. And then write those same stories on a blog on your own site. It could also help you grow your email list and drive more traffic. Example: https://uxdesign.cc/how-to-fix-dragging-animation-in-ui-with-simple-math-4bbc10deccf7 People have quite some success writing tutorials on how to solve technical problems everyone faces. Anyway this is just some random idea on how to market your site. Try out different things and test for what works. Other than that just continue to challenge yourself with creative projects and showcase a lot of your work for free as well.
  11. Haha my guess was way off... Either way I wouldn't go even if it were free
  12. Lol. Since you're making a thread about this I expect it to be high. My guess: $1500
  13. Perhaps you could research possibilities such as working part-time or with a flexible contract (I personally got a unique job at a tech startup for 2-3 days a week) Now if you add up income from a part-time job and you focus on increasing your online income streams, move out to a small apartment, and keep your living expenses low, then you might still have enough time left to do what you need to do to advance your creative career.
  14. Before you get yourself involved with NFTs, wactch this video: I know NFTs are very interesting to creators/artists and to some of you here. And there might be real value to at least the idea of a non fungible token. But most of what is being sold regarding NFTs right now does seem very scammy. So watch out and do your research.
  15. Here's an interesting list of "Happiest Countries In The World:" https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/happiest-countries-in-the-world Note that the countries at the top are places where most people have their basic survival needs met, are actually closest to Spiral Dynamics Stage Green, and have the least corrupt goverments. So it looks like the "average person" in those countries is relatively happy. I also think that it helps not to have to worry about basic survival needs as much because it will free up your time and energy to focus on other things in life. Personally my awareness of who I could be and what my life could be like have not always made me happier. But it has given me something better. I feel more alive and engaged with life. Like I'm less of an NPC going through life like a "happy" but lifeless robot. I think that living life like a warrior gives you a deeper satisfaction than "happiness."
  16. Take it in the morning and take very little. And maybe use armodafinil instead. And try using it only once a week or so to get some important work done.
  17. In the Netherlands it's 16. I guess it's fine if it's 15-16-year-olds experimenting/exploring with eachother and not with older people. As long as they do it safely...
  18. Others have already given great advise. But I'll share some of my own thoughts too. I summarized some important points: Realistically you need to become financially independent from your parents to move out. Set this goal for yourself for 2022. I understand you say you have no time now. You need to set some things straight in the short term and it's really hard. But once you improve your situation you can start to focus more on long-term goals and experiment. And even fail. It's all necessary. I also recommend working on many diverse artsy projects (Small Bets concept in Leo's course if you bought that) once you are able. You can set goals for this too. Such projects can help you learn where your passions and talents are, and eventually perhaps help you earn some money too. What would you ideally want to study in university or a school? If you already know it then set that as a goal (even if it takes a few years until you can do it). That might not be possible where you live or in Morroco. I don't know. But I personally know people from India and China who study in the Netherlands or Germany. Of course a lack of money is the biggest obstacle here. Although some people can get a scholarship. Maybe you can work towards getting one? I know ''Holland Scholarship"' (govt program) can give non-EU students about €5000. Maybe you can gain some experience by taking an internship or job related to graphic design/illustration? Is that possible where you live? Maybe you can find some opportunities online? And maybe you can find a mentor or someone who was in a similar situation as you. Maybe you can find such a person online. Don't spend years in university stuyding something you're not interested in. You will have less time for everything important. It's natural to seek approval from your parents. To feel their love. But don't feel ashamed of yourself because of how they view you. It's also fine not to focus on your passion in the short-term to make money. But it's better to frame this as a nessecary step towards finally being able to pursue your passion. Might help motivate you. Anyway I understand your frustration. Your situation doesn't sound that easy. But keep up your spirit and don't give up!
  19. It can be. But at the same time I don't recommend it. I tried edible weed a couple of times and realized the potential for addiction would be worse for me than alcohol. Started with the intention to do personal and spiritual work and ended up using it because the music and porn is 10x better...
  20. I think another part of the problem is that psychedelics can bring to the surface certain problems that you hid away deep inside yourself. They key would be to focus on those things and fix up your life. But for some it might be too much to handle and then drugs offer temporary relief. I only ever microdosed on LSD and experimented with edible weed. And in a sense I'm still working through my first, mild LSD trip. Had to do some painful work on myself and work towards some specific goals for about a year. I think an incremental approach to psychedelics might be best for most.
  21. Yes this seems to be the only realistic exit strategy at the moment (that I'm aware of). We don't know too much about Omicron yet. Let's hope it's not as lethal as other variants.
