You are not your thoughts. You are not your mind. You are consciousness. -
Thanks. I like the stuff. Have watched about 4 videos so far.

To beat laziness, you just have to take note of your ego and ignore it.

Some people feel that they are very strong in emotional control but deep down, they are still repressing their feelings. So one bad day, they may suddenly burst out all their repressed feelings and did something really bad. It's like saving money. Some people who scrim and save every day suddenly feel like spending a lot maybe $500,000 on an 'investment' or $1 mil on a condo because they feel they deserved it or because they can no longer control themselves. Just an example. Or course, there are many counter examples as well.

@Fran11 Thank you. That was very helpful.

How do you project an animal you want to represent in order to get more masculine energy? For example, I went to buy a pair of 'Puma' sneakers but I only feel a little stronger and faster. Also, there are many days I don't wear the sneakers due to work. How to imagine myself as a strong warrior if I still don't feel like one?

Why care so much about enlightenment? You are still going to die physically very soon in this dash of life. -

I interpret as the former by holding on to their possessions and worldly success will lose their happy life while the latter who let go will lead a happy life. -

God consciousness is to realise everyone of us is God's child. So always be loving and good to everyone and everything because we are all connected. -

Spongebob is real...around 4 min mark! -
Most of the stuff he posted on his channel are just book summaries or some mind stuff by another author. He's still in the acquiring stages of personal development. I even think he had fallen too deeply into mind stuff. They are so many other things than the mind imo. Like consciousnesses, heart and the body. His videos are long winded now and not very action oriented. Forget it and just watch another channel imo.

Sorry I didn't watch enough to be able to comment.

Oh okay. I am not buddhist though. If you check, I do post stuff from Christianity but overall, I don't care about awakening. Do what brings you joy. -

I don't know whether I am in the right path but all along, i never care about enlightenment or awakening. You can check this out: Enlightenment is about realizing that there's nothing to realize https://www.reddit.com/r/Buddhism/comments/vb0ln/enlightenment_is_about_realizing_that_theres/ or this During his enlightenment, the Buddha found the answer to these questions. He discovered three great truths. He explained these truths in a simple way so that everyone could understand them. 1. Nothing is lost in the universe The first truth is that nothing is lost in the universe. Matter turns into energy, energy turns into matter. A dead leaf turns into soil. A seed sprouts and becomes a new plant. Old solar systems disintegrate and turn into cosmic rays. We are born of our parents, our children are born of us. We are the same as plants, as trees, as other people, as the rain that falls. We consist of that which is around us, we are the same as everything. If we destroy something around us, we destroy ourselves. If we cheat another, we cheat ourselves. Understanding this truth, the Buddha and his disciples never killed any animal. 2. Everything Changes The second universal truth of the Buddha is that everything is continuously changing. Life is like a river flowing on and on, ever-changing. Sometimes it flows slowly and sometimes swiftly. It is smooth and gentle in some places, but later on snags and rocks crop up out of nowhere. As soon as we think we are safe, something unexpected happens. Once dinosaurs, mammoths, and saber-toothed tigers roamed this earth. They all died out, yet this was not the end of life. Other life forms like smaller mammals appeared, and eventually humans, too. Now we can even see the Earth from space and understand the changes that have taken place on this planet. Our ideas about life also change. People once believed that the world was flat, but now we know that it is round. 3. Law of Cause and Effect The third universal truth explained by the Buddha is that there is continuous changes due to the law of cause and effect. This is the same law of cause and effect found in every modern science textbook. In this way, science and Buddhism are alike. The law of cause and effect is known as karma. Nothing ever happens to us unless we deserves it. We receive exactly what we earn, whether it is good or bad. We are the way we are now due to the things we have done in the past. Our thoughts and actions determine the kind of life we can have. If we do good things, in the future good things will happen to us. If we do bad things, in the future bad things will happen to us. Every moment we create new karma by what we say, do, and think. If we understand this, we do not need to fear karma. It becomes our friend. It teaches us to create a bright future. The Buddha said, "The kind of seed sown will produce that kind of fruit. Those who do good will reap good results. Those who do evil will reap evil results. If you carefully plant a good seed, You will joyfully gather good fruit." Dhammapada Source: http://online.sfsu.edu/rone/Buddhism/footsteps.htm -

Can we add Covid-19 to the list too since God is everything. -
I can't believe I am saying this but maybe the book 'Power vs Force' will help. It talks about how force works: when you force yourself to move up from apathy to anger to action etc. And then it talks about having real power and motivations to doing things when it just feels natural to be doing what you like.

There's proof of it online. https://proofwiki.org/wiki/Divisibility_by_9 Example: 27 27 / 9 = 3 27 = 2(10) + 7 = 2(9+1)+7= 2(9)+2+7 = 2+7 (mod 9) -
Ok I will be out of here. I am still struggling financially atm and I am still asking my traditional God for Str, love and guidance. I do not have the time to ponder over these. Have fun talking to yourself.
-
That depends on what you think. I don't think of myself as a God because I did not know what's on your mind and what you will write later. I know I am energy, just like everyone else and that we are connected. But I don't see myself as a God. If you like to see yourself as a God, that's up to you. If you see everything as a God, then you will also see me as a God. I cannot control what you think or say about me because I am not God. Or you can give me penalty points or something and I cannot control that.
-
Ok anyway I am out. I am interested in achieving self-actualization but not interested in why people are not interested in self-actualization.
-
Not true. Most people in my opinion are interested in self actualization. They just could not do it due to various reasons or obstacles or resistance. Your friend probably has super low consciousness or super high resistance.

There is no need to reply because Thread starter has no consciousness. -
That's why it is dangerous to step into the octagon. You may be the friendly guy who wants to win by skills but your opponent is out to kill.
