  1. Well I use quite some mantras and find them really good. I probably underestimated the power of them quite a bit before having much experience with it. Sri Kaleshwar is a good guy to Google if you're interested in it. You can even chant mantras all day. Like really, doing it literally all day. It will pull in good energy and also takes your mind away from other thoughts. I've been chanting it more and more throughout the day, with the intent to eventually just chant them basically constantly lol
  2. It's been pretty great in my experience too. It can move me to a rather deep state of peace, which I found pleasantly suprising
  3. jee, what a bunch of bullshit people often sling to each other on this forum lol. It often gets into a back and forth of mental gymnastics, trying to disprove others using a rather arbitrary point of view
  4. Yea I've felt the same for quite some years. Not feeling like that anymore though. I live in Noord-Brabant now, but I suppose that's still a little far for meeting up with someone so now and then.
  5. Well, I'm all for following your passion. Why aren't you doing that?
  6. @Himanshu That's wonderful! Many thanks to you good sir Just playing is fine
  7. @Andrey_U Good stuff man! Wishing you all the best
  8. Well, but thinking of yourself as weak will create the experience of feeling and thinking like someone weak. Change your thought, and you'll change your experience. Perhaps you've been using your rather unrecognized big power, to only make it look like you're weak? Okay, I'm out of here. Take care buddy
  9. @Elshaddai Yes I've also been very bad at being vulnerable. I'm doing much better now since having done quite some healing work and also by slowly being more and more open. Like I would be afraid of having sex, so I would then I would call a sexline and have phone sex lol. It was just to push my boundaries, and served as an in-between stage to be more comfortable around the idea of having actual sex with someone. I was quite nervous the first time I called, second time was reasonably fine already and so didn't call more after that. You'll probably have trauma from people who have shunned you or laughed at you or something like this (from this or previous life(s)). Is it true that you think of yourself as weak, or are at least afraid that you might be? Are you?
  10. @Himanshu Where do you have this from? Is there something written about this? I find these sort of things interesting:-)
  11. A part from the book 'Healing and Evolving the Emotional Body' on habits: All the habits and appetites that man has had and enjoyed, for the most part, have been judged against as harmful to Spiritual development. Lists of things to avoid have included alcohol, sugar, red meat, drugs, caffeine, marijuana, tobacco, sex and extremes of any kind. The understanding is needed that the problem is not the substances themselves but the habit patterns and the extremes often associated with these substances. The substances have been thought to be causal, but it is consciousness that is causal and nothing else. For example, eating meat, especially red meat, has long been thought to make men too dense to receive Spiritual illumination and yet it is not causal here. The desire to eat meat has accompanied the consciousness needing it. Nourishment must match the vibration of the consciousness taking it in. All habits drop away when the consciousness is released from the need for them. In not understanding what was causal here, many have tried to break out of habits, giving up meat for example, by using discipline and control. This approach only causes the pattern of habit to change its form. The reason for the habit pattern needs to be found, and then accepted and understood, not condemned and disciplined away.
  12. my thoughts: I think that perhaps you could say that spiral development is just raising your energy through the chakras. The higher your state of being, the better you will function. Like if you're happy, don't you function better then when you're depressed?
  13. Oh I see. I can relate actually, as I've had and still have to some degree the same fear. I'd be afraid that I would suck very hard at sex and wouldn't know what to do, or would come very fast. Or I would be concerned what other people (like my family) would think of her if I would end up in a relationship with a specific girl. In the end, the best thing is just to go through it anyway. You can take it slow and make it gentle for yourself right? Maybe even let her know you're a little worried about being with a woman, that you haven't done that before. Maybe you'll find she'll respond way more understanding and friendly than you feared and will take it easier for you. When there is something I have to do and feel fearful about it, I tend to just make it one step at a time, and take some time to relax and be with the fear. Once that fear settles a bit I feel okay to take it a small step further. Okay, I think everyone can relate to some degree to that, although you might have it more than most. When your mind gets hyperactive, what do you do? You try anything to calm yourself? For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5m6tMjcF8k is one of the techniques you could use. It's normal that your mind does these things. Your mind tries to maintain the identity/how you see yourself and so will put up fear and whatever it can in order to hold on to whatever belief or viewpoint. I like to just take a small step further and then be with the fear, small step further, be/work with the fear. I find it quite doable like that. Sorry, I can't do better than this. Hope you'll move past it buddy, you can do it
  14. You can read the book "Journey of Souls", it will explain what happens after 'death' from the experiences a guy had over the many years of giving past life regression sessions. Edit: okay I see you mean more like death of the person/self. Ignore message above
  15. Yes but then what is the exact reason for the fear? Because you're having a certain definition/viewpoint that is creating that fear. Are you taking it personally when you're 'screwing up'? Do you feel inadequate or have embarrassment about it? Or is it because, you're for example, afraid of being alone? If you look into what you're actually believing there that is causing the fear, you might find something that isn't really true, and then you'd let it go. Of course, there are many other ways to deal with these sort of things. Oh well. Nail both of em and see what you like best lol Well about those other problems. People can't help you if you don't give more detail as to what is causing the failure, you silly ? All the best
  16. What are you believing that is the reason for the fear? Is the weird or autistic thing you do that fucks it up, done by accident, or is it done (subconsciously) for a reason, for example, because you fear if the relationship continues she'll leave you?
  17. Sure, I'll mention some things that I've done myself, found useful and what gives you a bit of a sense of different approaches. There's so much more, of course. - Sri Kaleshwar is quite a G and has brought some good systems where you chant mantras. The 5 elements system is likely the best system of his to start with. You can learn it for free here: https://learn.divinelineage.org/ . You could try out the earth 1 channel. You might find it's quite powerful and pleasant to do. The more you do it the more you'll charge it and the more powerful it gets. I got to know Sri Kaleshwars systems about 8/9 months ago and still do them daily, sometimes hours of it a day. If you're serious you could get an initiation and it would boost your practice a little (I could give it). Even without it, it's still very powerful and a very holistic approach. - A suggestion on how to quiet the voice in the mind (I see your question above). Just follow this question 'What am I thinking about right now?'. This curious introspection to your thoughts is really good in quieting down thought. It's good, but if you're only going to try out one thing and could use some excitement, then better to start out with another one from the list. - go to http://liberationunleashed.com/ and ask for a guide that helps you to see there isn't a self/person. It's quite a good start to have on this journey. You'll experience one or more shifts while going through this, which is and nice and corrects your understanding of how things work a bit. Afterwards you could use the same approach to explore deeper things. - Holotropic breathwork and also holographic breathwork. - https://www.ascensionlibrary.org/. This approach makes use of light language. You listen to encoded audio files. It's very powerful though even though it can look very new agey to people. There are some things you could listen to for free, others are paid. Some programs I downloaded so you could get those. - here something different again: http://iawaketechnologies.com/ you could use it while meditating. Lot's of the programs can be torrented. To spice things up even further, you could also add a little bit of mushrooms to this:D - Isha foundation. Some good yoga and meditation things there. Whatever you end up doing, I hope you come out healed and get to know higher and higher dimensions of life/yourself
  18. I watched 80%. I think it's a good video for people who are seeing Leo as a hero. In my view, the perceptions given in the video are about half right. I think many people on the forum know that Leo can overblow it here and there and put too much significance on certain things. Some of the things Leo said in his video's, Leo probably wouldn't say again. But then the understanding of the guy in the video doesn't seem quite as deep as Leo. Of course, the guy has his own biases and judges Leo with that too.
  19. I've heard from various high sources, that I trust, stories of what he did and so on. So yea, it seems real and all the miracles too. Even better, a lot of channelers channel him (Yeshua). You can find out about that pretty easy if you Google for his channeled messages probably.
  20. You don't have to do meditation, there are so many ways you can have a go at this. There are literally thousands of methods that all work fine. It's not just the technique your using, but also how you feel while doing it. Just try things out that speak to you. If you find something else on the go that seems more exciting, go do that.
  21. Why aren't you doing what you love doing? Throw these ideas of 'I have to do x and x in order to get x' out of the window. It's garbage What you do is what you become. And what you do and think is a statement always to the universe and it will support whatever you're saying to it. When you're grinding at doing 'consciousness' work, which you actually don't want to do in the way you do it, otherwise you wouldn't post the above, you're becoming someone who is struggling, and signing to the life that that's what you are and it will reflect that. If you do what you love most at any moment (could be taking a walk or whatever), you're transforming yourself into your full potential. Your unique way of being! You doing what you love at any moment is a statement to the universe and it'll support you. Of course, this can't go any other way than you living your most fulfilled and actualized life.
  22. The title of the topic and this sentence is too simplistic and not true. However looking at a candle can do all sort of good things. You could for example chant certain mantras while looking at a candle and it aids to shed karma. There was also a nice meditation given in 'Conversations with God' for seeing the Truth. The process there is looking at a candle for a while, letting them close naturally while staring at it. Then when eyes close, focusing on the inbreath for a bit and then staring at the third eye (area).
  23. Lol I've been finding it annoying lately too. At first I thought it was really cool, until it started to become irritating in a sense as it can feel like I can't shake it off. I never see the numbers when I look for them, only when I'm off guard and not looking. Didn't expect that I could feel that way about it, and thought it was silly behavior so tried relaxing instead of feeling a sense of irritation. Funny to see you've felt the same.
  24. Sure, I'll just give a ramble about what I understood from various sources. Upon death you as the soul leaves the body, or rather the soul detaches itself from the body. Lots of souls here might be a little flabbergasted that there aren't dead, and notice that they can move around or teleport with intent. They get slightly pulled into this light tunnel then and at the other side they might meet up with their guide. They enter a review about their past life and maybe discuss it with another guide. Afterwards, they go to this vast (infinite?) space with other souls and go to a space/zone/'house' where a group of souls (between about 5-25) of like development and awareness are. These souls in this zone know each other from many past lives. Here these souls go to a 'school' (can look any way that's comfortable to the soul, and there is a more developed being/teacher here to assist), where they can evaluate their past lives and the choices they made in them, or go have some fun elsewhere. Okay from here to planning the next incarnation I don't know in detail. But it seems the souls will plan their next life (together with their guide) based on what they want to learn, etc.
  25. @Someone here Who cares that you can't literally say that something reincarnates. There is no self to reincarnate.. so what.. doesn't mean reincarnation doesn't point to a 'process' that's all too real. You say there is zero evidence for it. Actually there is tons of evidence for it if you care to look into it. The internet is just full of it.
