I’m also not trying to belittle you or adjust awakening to my own experience.

As I’ve said I’ve been where you are, I’ve had the No Self awakening and seeing the world as an illusion, but 1 awakening often isn’t the final truth, while any sort of Non Dual awakening is incredible of course, it does go deeper than No Self.

It gets to the point where THIS is literally it, and guess what? THIS includes dirty old duality, meaning this very world is also it, as is literally EVERYTHING, THIS has to include everything as The Self is everything.

Yes we are definitely going around in circles.

I think it can all be chalked up to just sharing different opinions.

No need to even call it a disagreement there's a kernel of Truth and everything. Let's just leave it at that ❤

I am still your friend and I'm always here to chat ... These good deep conversations is really when the best learning takes place?

  2. @LfcCharlie4  Im sure that some of their material can be helpful.

I've listened to several of their videos including their Enlightenment video.

It really sounds like they're trying to repackage spiritual self-help material and sell it as a process of Awakening.

When I watched their Enlightenment video... I was really surprised at how hesitant they seemed to even discuss the topic. In my observation they appeared to just dance around any meaningful discussions about what enlightenment actually is. I couldn't even finish the video it was ridiculous.

Now obviously Enlightenment is a tough topic to discuss but that would play right into their benefit of assisting people to awaken when they're not even really sure what it consists of.

They seem very loving and authentic... I can tell they truly care about helping people.

I'm here to help as well, which is why I share some of my thoughts and opinions...

    (Update)

I just watched their video again..

Now they discussed recognizing the true self as the absolute.. but they completely left out recognizing Maya the illusion of the self (most important part in my opinion).. and how the egoic self agenda will keep you running on the hamster wheel seeking outside of yourself to feel complete. Basically the understanding that your mind is controlling you.

See without having this experience( completely seeing through the illusion) you would just tack on the knowledge that you are the absolute and can become a very bad spiritual ego.

To not mention that in an Enlightenment discussion would be a major red flag in my opinion and a clear misunderstanding of the whole picture of Awakening or enlightenment.

Now I'm not saying they don't understand this or mention it elsewhere I'm just saying what I noticed from watching their basic videos ❤

I wonder if anyone has experienced this level of samadhi ?

I think a lot of the surprise Factor depends on your level of attachment to the self image, and of course how clearly the illusion is seen through.

In my own experience it was more of a shock like WTF. Gradual Awakenings are even a little dull sometimes because of the belief that something was radically going to happen... sometimes it's instant sometimes it's a gradual recognition. Each has its ups and downs that's for sure.

@VeganAwake Interesting. I watched from 32:00-37:40. It matches my own experience with this. The subconscious is (at least) involved in the decision making and the I-thought likes to take credit for being the chooser. :DO.o

Yes exactly. The "I" thought loves to take credit for anything perceived as good and then blame someone else if it's perceived as bad..lol

They say God loves you 70x more than your own mother.

Yet everything is God's infinite love at play. At all the times.

So relatively while a mother's love maybe conditional/egoic to a degree... There are moments of sacrifice wherein that is total embodiment of God's infinite love.

A mother giving up her life to protect her children. Many videos about animals doing this and real life examples of mother saving children by giving up their own life.

This is none other than God's infinite love shining forth in the relative way of looking at the world.

Another example is that of forgiveness... But again, relatively speaking, not an ordinary forgiveness... But that of a father/mother forgiving the killer of their child. That is none other than God himself at play...

Imagine the impact of the killer after such an event...

God love is every present. But in moments like this it shines forth like a million suns.

    Yes..Unconditional love and forgiveness ❤

This is a very powerful story of how a woman forgave her son's murder.. she describes unforgiveness as a cancer that eats you from the inside out.

@VeganAwake Perhaps you need to work on your joke delivery or the punch line or say, "just kidding". It's not coming across as joking.

The material on this forum is rather serious, usually, wouldn't you say? So, the reader isn't going to assume you are kidding or joking.

Anyways, I love Robin Williams and that's a funny scene.

Trying to get on my good side? I don't have one... Lol. Jk

Those are good ideas and advice thank you ❤

  7. And what lies are those my friend. I'm pretty sure I can quit well backup everything I've ever discussed on this forum. Why do you think I'm acting or playing?

That last post was a joke to try to get some laughs. I apologize if it sounded like I was trying to be a jerk it was out of fun.. guess it was bad timing... I was trying to lighten the mood ❤

I use videos that I've watched and listened to because I do not need to reinvent the wheel and spend an hour typing a message... a lot of times the videos I post are describing exactly that of my own experience.

I do not discuss anything on here that I have not personally experienced.
