  1. It's crazy how quickly and out-of-control the advancement and detrimental effects of the improvised explosive devices have became when they get into the wrong hands. Now they have drones with incredible accuracy dropping missiles and bombs. It's going to be interesting to see what will arise from artificial intelligence. But just like with any new technologically advanced threat comes technologically advanced counter-terrorism and combative measures.
  2. Sorry I had to ? Prof Stephen Hawking, one of Britain's pre-eminent scientists, has said that efforts to create thinking machines pose a threat to our very existence. He told the BBC: "The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race."
  3. These are just simply different definitions of the meaning of enlightenment... One person thinks it's when you become aware of the fact that you are God. Another beliefs it's an infinite Awakening process unfolding with no end. Who is right maybe no one and everyone ? They're just words pointing to something... and we all know the words are not the thing. My definition of enlightenment is when the illusion of the separate self falls away and it's recognized the separation never occurred, it was just Maya or the self illusion, Oneness was always the case. There is a disentangling from social conditioning and a snapping out of The Matrix. Life carries on as usual but without the egoic self agenda and pathological conditioned thought patterns running the show. Before Enlightenment chop wood and carry water after Enlightenment chop wood and carry water. What has changed is the resistance to what is. A great thing to recognize is it doesn't matter either way its just a show...? ❤
  4. @GreenWoods I understand what you're saying good stuff... Here's a possibility... The Boundless Energy of everything is free and unconditioned until it takes form... once the Big Bang occurred and physical form appeared the conditioning started... Your great great great grandmother conditioned your great-great-grandmother your great-great grandmother conditioned your great-grandmother who then conditioned your grandmother who then conditioned your mom who probably conditioned You... of course along with all of society's conditioning as well or you could say the environments conditioning. So whenever an action is made the human body is reacting according to its conditioning and there is a false sense of self that is claiming it is the one making these decisions. Even if it appears random the human body is still making a decision as fast as possible and the false self is claiming that it made the decision. So do you think it's possible that Free Will and choice is an absolute illusion... very interesting right? ❤
  5. Hehe I'm just kidding around buddy...❤ I had to remove my mustache picture that thing looked hideous lol..
  6. I've been rereading your response for an hour trying to make sense of it. I think I got it... you are saying you love my red mustache and I should grow a beard to accompany it. ? Is this accurate?
  7. Great post brother!! I think one of the easiest ways to identify whether something is ego-driven or from an awakened heart is to watch the feelings that arise when this motivated action is NOT carried out. If feelings of guilt or the diminishment of one's sense of self worth arises, it was most likely an egoic motivation tied to social conditioning. For example my wife gave a homeless man a cheeseburger and told me later that it made her day and made her feel good. Now its true this is a win-win situation as in my wife felt better and the homeless man got a meal. But if you look deep into the actual motivation behind her action you will find something quite startling... I will leave that for another discussion. Before awakening I remember walking past a homeless man asking for change one time. I just continued walking and the guilt got so bad that I actually turned around and gave him like five bucks or something. I remember feeling like an uncompassionate human and my sense of self-worth felt diminished in that moment. When your sense of self-worth depends on a certain outcome, action or inaction, you're tied to social conditioning and caught in The Matrix as I like to describe it. True self Love or Unconditional Love has no conditions. When this Unconditional Love is fully embodied and the ego has fallen away, a sort of disentangling from social conditioning occurs and it's recognized that actually nothing needs to be done... but why not do something? The paradoxical nature of existence reflects perfection on every level... but then a question arises within THIS perfection. But why not make the world a better place? See you simply cannot go wrong in whatever THIS IS. ❤ Great post brother I thoroughly enjoyed reading have a good day my friend ?
  8. Awakening could be described as becoming aware of what is true.(the bottom of the bucket has fallen out and it can never hold water again... it's just a matter of time) there can still be an oscillating period... falling back asleep and waking up over and over again. Enlightenment or liberation could be described as living fully embodied in this Truth. The oscillation has ended and only Being remains. I really enjoy his videos ❤
  9. I know this isn't anything new but I wanted to share anyways. I was laying on my couch feeling so free, so light, so wonderful, so at peace...I questioned where did this feeling come from or what caused it. Then the word EMPTY popped into my mind....I felt Empty. But not the bad or lacking Empty that most would typically associate Empty with. This is like an Empty Fullness, a Pregnant Nothingness, an Everything and Nothing Emptiness. It's not having any belief systems, attachments or idea's of the way anything should be.... it's the Wayless Way...or No Way. I realized, I don't believe in anything except BEING. And anything and everything is welcomed in BEING. I would describe it as in natural surrender to what being reveals. ❤
  10. I'm just confused... somebody said my mustache was ugly today but it sounded like they were giving me a complement!! This is my first mustache so I haven't learned the mustache lingo yet. Can somebody help me with this?
  11. Yellow: so how is it up there? Turquoise: feels pretty good thanks for asking!!
  12. I really like that....? Here is a clip from Samadhi part 2 (it's not what you think): "When you realize the center that is everywhere and nowhere, duality breaks down, form and emptiness time and the timeless. One could call it a dynamic stillness or a pregnant emptiness, within the center of absolute darkness. The Taoist teacher Lao Tse said "Darkness within darkness the gateway to all understanding."
  13. I like that...yes THIS is all-encompassing and literally can't exclude anything. It's what's happening. With that being said, one can point out that although it's all included, does not mean it will produce the same outcome. For example: Some people enjoy seeking. And for others it becomes a vicious taskmaster that causes pain and suffering. (satsang after satsang, the constant running on the hamster wheel which only perpetuates that there's something that can be found) So different interpretations of being can produce different outcomes. Good material...
  14. Yeah this is a pretty interesting topic. Some believe free will and choice is an illusion. They're saying the conditioned human body/mind makes a decision and then the separate self claims that it was the one that made the decision. It's also recognized upon awakening that this separate self is also an illusion. So essentially they're saying everything; feelings thoughts ideas perceptions beliefs arise out of nothing and fall back into nothing... with no real meaning purpose or value for anything. The infinite communicating to the infinite.
  15. Hi, Being is the opposite of seeking. Being is what is left when it is recognized there's nowhere to go nothing to do and no one to be.. Being is what is already the case, but it's what's recognized after the illusory sense of self crumbles away and THIS is all that remains. The egoic self agenda is eliminated. Being = THIS THIS = Being Being is all there is, everything else is unknowable ❤
  16. Haha we are funny... I'm seriously trying to transition back to a whole food vegan diet. I've gained like 25 lb eating vegan junk food... here in California they have the Beyond burger at Carl's jr, and now Beyond sausage biscuit. Del Taco has the beyond meat for all of their burritos and tacos now and they have a delicious California epic burrito with french fries in it and guacamole. And then of course Burger King down the street has the impossible Burger and I can pretty much order anything vegetarian from Taco Bell. Help lol ?
  17. You should change your forum name to Instigator7 lol... Life purpose is to live.. I never mentioned once about not helping people... it's just whether it's egoically driven or not. I value truth over being liked on the Forum...
  18. Yeah no problem at all I have social anxiety also. I don't think there's any real exact answer with this one... some people Force themselves to do public speaking and to be more social in general... using A build-up approach. I have found what works best for me is not thinking about it or identifying with it at all. It's the emotions come up they come up if not they don't... just simply don't claim them. Just ideas of course ?
  19. There is no relative and absolute that's dualistic perception. There is only THIS or Being. If one needs a car to drive to work to make money to survive and pay rent.. that's what's happening. Basic survival. It's all THIS (not relative and absolute) it's just what's happening. As I've mentioned before, there isn't anything inherently wrong with doing anything or not doing anything... If a desired action is ego-driven, there's usually an accompanying feeling of guilt, lack or diminishment if the action isn't carried out or completed according to the ego's standards. The Seeker always feels like there's something that needs to be done because the Seeker itself is Separation and lack. The Seeker does actually want to feel complete, but it also subconsciously knows that finding completion will be its demise. This Seeking energy knows that if there's nothing to seek it will be out of a job and it will have to fall way. This message feels foreign to you because you're simply not liberated bud I've been trying to explain this to you. You may have had a glimpse, mystical experience or partial awakening and shaken the ego a bit but the ego can reconstruct itself quickly... it will see it's being attacked... send in the reinforcements and come back as a strong spiritual ego... the new higher self or true self most call it... this new found spiritual ego is a real tough one to tackle because it thinks it's God or something lol... it magically knows what needs to be done because it's now super spiritual. You are an intelligent dude that is very good with your words and have done your homework I can tell... unfortunately knowing the material intellectually isn't what Awakening or Liberation actually is... True Liberation is an energetic shift and the complete Falling Away of the separate self or egoic structure, leaving only BEING or THIS. The egoic self agenda is completely seen for what it is and dropped. Feelings like there's something 'I' need to do to make the world a better place or 'I' need to find my life purpose are eliminated because there is no longer an 'I' or egoic self agenda driving the train sort of speak. The Hampster wheel has been stepped off of. As I said before this egoic drive is easy to spot because I used to be one. Ps the term spiritual bypassing is rendered irrelevant when it's recognized there is no meaning purpose or value to anything and nothing matters. I love you bud sure we will be talking soon enough haha ❤
  20. You might think this answer is a little strange. It's yes and no... Nervous and anxious feelings can still arise but they are not owned by anyone. There is still a conditioned human body that will react according to its conditioning. But these feelings that arise are not taken personal anymore, they're just what's happening. So basically if you get caught up in the story that its ME with these nervous and anxious feelings, there will be suffering. If Liberation or Enlightenment has occurred, there is no longer a ME to get tangled or caught up in the story... the personalization is no longer a part of the picture. You don't get lost or caught up in the story any longer. So simply put: If you are identified as the body/mind suffering can occur. If you are not the feelings are almost negligible.
  21. Yeah I thought that's what vegan was, I just pass on the animal products at night and eat whatever I want during the day... Is this not vegan? ?
  22. Haha yes I probably could... At this point after being vegan for over three years I'm more concerned eating meat or dairy will cause me to have the shits or a bowel obstruction or something unfortunate like that...lol ?
  23. Hey Brother welcome back... I don't think I'm sure or right about anything... It was just an apparent response.
