  1. Yes the mind starts to function more and more mechanically (conditioned). Once we become aware of the conditioning patterns and see how they feed off each other we are no longer bound by mind ...yeah sounds like you need to let yourself go to sleep
  2. @StrikrI hear ya dude. What’s your question? (How to stop thoughts?) i have experimented a lot with flow states too...love it. There’s definitely an unattachment/disidentificafion/absorption taking place and not sure how much “practice” is necessary after learning fundamentals
  3. @Seedfor you and anyone else who may be interested in observing the self
  4. To see this in direct experience = holistic insight @robdl@Jack Riveryou guys express it so well! Awesome
  5. There is no controlling the flow of the river. When we see we are not separate from the river it ceases to continue
  6. To take this for granted is to assume truth, as in an idea of what is, without seeing the fact this would be the true breakthrough to understand where and why fear comes about and see the whole conditioning in of itself as one movement
  7. Great share! Just reading this touched me deep inside. You know better than any of us how and what this means... The therapist helped you face yourself and see the self imposed limitations you were unknowingly bound by. You brought the fear to the surface and for a time you were completely free EXCELLENT!
  8. @Joseph MaynorIf anything King may have an internal struggle in the form of regret or what not, but it is definitely not revealed...he just might be a little out of his "element" you could say In any interpretation it seems there's projection/judgement which is unnecessary
  9. @Strikrthank you ? appreciate your description not sure how accurate you are but it was a good idea non the less. You’re humorous dude ?
  10. Yes maybe. Tolle does not waste any energy psychologically @Jack Riverspot on!
  11. Interesting. But to me it doesn’t say or mean much...maybe he could sense some “ego” in tolle and was becoming critical, or maybe he feels threatened as he sees truth but wants to deny it. Whatever the case...he’s human and not enlightened therefore very natural reaction/response
  12. For those not familiar with this such as myself...how would you describe it. Like throw away all the concepts which cannot be understood without going into that practice/interpretation
  13. Hmm interesting. Honestly I didn’t finish it all but do you imagine he’s just trying to please someone? @Joseph Maynor
  14. You’re saying they can’t walk the walk but they can talk the talk? is egoic enlightenment always unknown to be fake? Is it really a trap or does one simply take this path because of conditioning and may still bring about freedom without resistance?
  15. @Gligorijewhat does it mean to you to be mindful? Imagine if nearly every moment was a flow state for you. So much creativity, love, compassion, authenticity...
  16. Larry king comes off as Larry king Oh and Tolle is the MAN how do you think Larry came off? @Joseph Maynor
  17. @Hellspeedwait you just explained enlightenment...how about egoic??? Using an idea of enlightenment to conceptualize exactly that which should be but can’t be known what is it which we seek so illusory until realized is nothing at all carry those who’s minds claim to be that which cannot be but believe it is so...
  18. Well said! The identifying/judging the relationship then comes avoidance to what is further perpetuating it, never seeing it all as one movement bringing about the limited thinking/being
  19. Makes sense ? Ahh yes like an unidentifiable alertness I like how you put this. A mindful harmony giving clarity
  20. @Jack Riverwhy do we desipher Intelligence from intellect?
  21. @Jack RiverHow could you not like the games? As children we had wicked imaginations so it was only natural to use whatever we learned to have fun unfortunately even as kids things were often taken too seriously
