  1. @SpyAquamarine You can make the ultimate journal with a commonplace book:
  2. @Leo Gura When you say infinity, does this mean the concept of infinity in say calculus?
  3. @doucey24 Makes a lot of sense, the physical must be balanced with the spiritual. Taking a hit of ayahuasca without meditating or self-inquiring will be like the video said, just a very strong and profound experience that one wouldn't really benefit. Makes me wonder a lot, actualized.org itself only isn't the best resource. The hermetic principles, and many other resources are out there. I found this video from him: I really like it, I hate Leo in his video when he acts like some egotistical person, this is because I am egotistical. ( I think he does this to appeal to his viewers or connect with them somehow)
  4. @Bill Eichman Hi Bill, I used this technique from Leos Practical guide to enlightenment: I used Exercise 2 Noticing Space As Unitive "Sit comfortably and quietly, still your mind, and become aware of direct experience. Locate a distant object in your visual field. Any object will do, like a tree, a car, a sofa, a lamp, a book. Now ask yourself, "What is separating ME from this object?" Notice that the space or air in the room is actually unifying you and the object, rather than separating you two. Notice that EVERY object you see is unified into one field of awareness. The space or air connects "you" to everything. Become directly conscious of this until you can feel it." I am not sure of the origin of the method, Leo may know. I was just using objects to find unity, I am blindly following these techniques with no prior background or enlightenment work except for a Do Nothing Meditation schedule (20 minutes a day) from Shinzen Young. Intellectualy I think I can understand what nothingness is but I have not experienced it. I am thinking of it as conciousness without an object.
  5. "Sit comfortably and quietly, still your mind, and become aware of direct experience. Become directly conscious of this until you can feel it." I did self-inquiry and did a exercise similar to this. I discovered that I was unified with said object, and that it wasn't air that was dividing us. I asked myself what is between me and the object and answered "air" and that asked myself other than the air what is between the object and answered nothingness and since nothingness has no shape size weight or attributes that I must be connected to the object and then had a small bit of awareness then I lost it. How do I get it back? Now when I think about it and look at my keyboard I think " Connected? How are we connected that thing is not a part of you" and there are all these ego and mind barriers, what do I do? If all we have is perception and reality is perception this must mean we are reality, but I can't experience any of this in real-time? None of this makes any logical sense. I'm trying to find enlightenment but can't find it. How do you experience nothingness if there is nothing to experience? Maybe I am confused. For fellow actualizers who have become enlightened how long did it take? What steps and processes did you use? Are there more advanced stages of enlightenment?
  6. Hey pluto, I did some self-inquiry from the neti neti method and I just ended up depressed. I looked for everything I could be, but just ended up finding nothing and then Leo said that nothingness is enlightenment and that I am nothingness. That just got me bummed out because isn't enlightenment life-changing? Maybe I didn't do the technique right but this was the video:
  7. @White Isn't that blue that you are telling him this since he is a higher authority? What are you trying to get out of pointing this out? ( I got triggered, this must mean I am in a certain stage)
  8. @Staples Yeah, I just heard about Osho from my Dad. Strange someone with high degrees of consciousness would make a cult out and do amoral things for money. Isn't that orange? But I also think Mooji is turquoise.(My end goal is to escape the matrix and just do lots of consciousness work) I live in Canada, and the material world is great, with all the orange and some green, but it has its limitations. Yes there is green here, with social justice and such but it has it's limits. I'm thinking these yogis must know a lot. There are a lot of fakers, but I like to follow Leo because he is hard nosed and pragmatic making all these structured themes of videos with all the research he does. Like someone who has ascended through the stages.
  9. This is more new-agey but astrology says that certain events happen at certain times and that most things are pre-determined. But is astrology BS, or a set of beliefs? This is for you to decide. ( To me, it is a more occult thing) I guess you have programming too. Honestly I don't know
  10. Another question is if you become enlightened, do you automatically jump to turquoise?
  11. I'm thinking yogis like Sadhguru, Osho. Also, the Kumbh mela festival has many Yogis who know much about spiritual disciplines.
  12. The early self-help industry is just pure orange.
  13. I sit for 30 minutes and ask myself "who am I ? " and I answer, perception. Then have another thought that is just another perception of reality. Who am I? A mind/body..? The thought of being a mind/body is just a perception of reality, but who is perceiving that this question is a perception of reality? Myself ? (Back to square one) But who is perceiving that I am myself? My brain? The brain is just another perception. But who is perceiving that the brain is another perception? My mind/body? I am trying to think myself into enlightenment and find some kind of process, this is some exciting but confusing work.
  14. @White how do you become conciousness
