@Emerald I agree, another theory that I have is that he, himself did it because he knew they were going to kill him and he preferred to do it himself before others do it. But, I think your theory is more plausible.

For me it sucks that is so difficult to try some drug for spiritual purposes. I really didn't do it because I don't know anything about how to get them. That's why I am stuck in blue/orange stage.

IMO you create everything, so I suppose that if you are not really awakened it can be quite scary to be, just be without ego. I tell you because I had an experience where I didn't know who I was when I was waking up from bed, and it was really scary for me. At that moment I wasn't doing any practice. Now that I know it is different, I think that is you are very deluded you can be in that state for a long time and that would be (I think) what Christians call it "hell". In fact, you are doing it to yourself.

This is how it ends when the person is so deluded that he want's more challenges, more craziness, more money, ego at full potential asking for more more more until it goes completely crazy and it ends in jail, suicidal and in a total loss of connection with the true self (himself). So sad.

@SoonHei In my case I didn't lose completely awareness, I saw everything that was happening but I didn't have any control of what I was saying and doing. I began to jump all over the place and yell to my wife and daughter that I love them, but it was like yelling very loud... hehehe... Then I remember I told them that we were going to become Gods and stuff like that. I lot of things that I said were really true, but it was like the devil twisted them to make it seem bad. Like I said that when I talked God was talking at the same time as I was. I become aware of the truth, but it was like the ego reacted that way because it couldn't accept it. Really what helped me the most was finding Leo's videos. They shocked me but they finally put me on the right track. Now the ego is still in control but I am much more aware of my own delusions and everyday I had more insights and my false self is falling apart, it's a slow process now, but it is happening. Maybe @Ibn Sina you have to watch this TED talk, I think it can bring some light about what you are asking

@SoonHei I had some psychotic episodes and my wife told me that my face and voice sounded like I was the devil. I didn't want to do any harm, but I was talking like crazy. IMO the ego when is totally disconnected with the true self it behaves like that, like a devil. I found this too. On a Buddhist forum: Milarepa a very devoted person to the dharma was in solitary retreat for many years. At one point he was beset by a demoness who refused to leave his cave. This is what she said... "Unless your dualisstic thought manifests itself as your enemy Due to your own inner delusion, How can this cave demoness become your enemy? Besides, this demoness of your hidden delusion Originates from your own mind. Unless you realize the mind's intrinsic nature I shall not leave just because you asked me to." It is stated....All one's mental clinging to the concept of malicious spirits is but the manifestation of one's own mind. Milarepa of course shortly after that did realize his intrinsic nature and the demoness of course disappeared.

Everything is a manifestation of your own mind...

Just sit and meditate and while you do it observe those thoughts that say "I want to go to twitter, or youtube or watch TV"... just observe those tendencies or thoughts and continue meditating. I know it's hard, you will feel sometimes that you can't do it but that's also a thought. Be aware of everything, even those thoughts and focus on your breathing. If you can try to do a guided meditation on youtube, it will help to focus in the practice instead of your thoughts and tendencies.

I never listened to him, not sure why but I feel like some rejection to what he says. But I don't really know too much about him. Something inside me rejects him or what he has to say.

This is what happens @Schahin There's two points of view, the relative and the absolute. From the relative POV you are a person, limited, etc. So, from the POV of the person, you have no free will. In fact, the problem is that you are identifying with the person, that's why the teachings say "you don't have free will". You think you have no free will because of your identification with the body/mind/person. You are in a low consciousness place. (Like I am too). But now, you are confused. Because you are getting awake to the fact that you are God. And if you are God then why you don't have free will? You see???? what you are doing? You are god, and you ask why you don't have free will. That "you" who doesn't have free will is the person, the ego. God always had free will. And you are it. But because of the identification with the person, you think you don't have it. Why? Because when you identify with the person or the ego you want things that God doesn't. Because God has free will he does what is better for "you" to become awakened. But maybe you feel that this that you are doing for your good, to become awakened, because you are in the ego Perspective, you think is bad and that you don't have free will and blah blah blah... If you see it from the Absolute POV you have free will, if you think you are a person, so you see it from the relative POV you have no free will. Both are truth.

Awesome advice Natasha. Same thing is happening to me, so it is normal @inFlow don't worry too much. Now I think of it like "before sex controlled me, now I have control over sex". You will enjoy it much more than before, you will see.

The problem with that people is that they go so far into the darkness that is very difficult for them to come back, they need something big to happen to them to come back to what they really are.
