Its a perspective. I dont find it very useful, I dont really believe anything matters, but that doesnt mean Im a nihilist, nihilism is very dark and I dont see the point in moping around all day, create a happy life for yourself instead.

But thats just society in general, like I said, noone is forcing you to wear pants, there is nothing morally wrong with being naked, yet you put on your pants in the morning without even thinking about it. Perhaps Hijab is no different, they just think that is so obvious that women should wear it, it feels weird not to, and then they make up excuses as to why women who dont wear hijab are sexualised immoral brainwashed westerners.

I have been mulling over this questions for an hour... I also think it had alot to do with the Sahara desert, societies grow by trading with eachother, going to war and pillaging. If you look at a map of the world you can see that the civilizations that have developed most strongly were the ones that could connect with eachother without obstruction, you can see a long belt of civilization from Spain, Rome, Middle-East all the way to India and China. Unfortunately the Sahara is so huge that nobody could trek over it (or felt the need to) to see whats on the other side and hence the Sub-Saharan African people never got to trade etc with the rest of the world and so they had no reason to develop much.

Its important to be nuanced about that I think, you dont know a muslim womans story so you shouldnt think off the bat that she is being oppressed, some people are just deeply religious. Personally I dont like that women have to cover their beautiful faces but thats none of my fucking business.

Its not necessarily fake news, Its also how they paint a situation and what they leave out of the story, and how much of their own opinion they put into it. I definitely wouldnt call CNN fake news, fake news is more like Breitbart and Infowars, you can tell just by visiting the front page on Breitbart that they have a far-right agenda.

Theyre decent I guess but I dont watch them, I dont need to, there are much better news sites out there. But if I want to get a gist of a situation theyre okay, for in depth analysis? No.

Depends on which media. For example I wouldn't trust Fox News because theyre heavily biased but I would trust Reuters because theyre very objective. But it depends on what I want, sometimes Im in an angry anti-corporate mood then I will want some pretty leftist media.
