@spicy_pickles Who do you mean when you say "certain people"? Are these friends, family, spouse, coworkers, schoolmates? What is your age? If you want better advice, be specific about your situation.

@Serotoninluv The "technique" is being committed to walking this entire path of truth and growth for the sake of pure understanding. If you have that as your core intent, then everything else will fall into place. You will naturally trip consistently, you will naturally seek out the right teachings, you will naturally experiment with diverse substances, you will naturally inquire, you will naturally sacrifice ego for truth, you will naturally return for more even after a bad trip or some backsliding, you will naturally take time to integrate your experiences, you will naturally not break protocol.

@KPAVLOV It takes a lot of consistent tripping over a long period of time to make sense of things. One or two high-dose trips is not gonna fly. You're asking the mind the make sense of things which are way beyond it. It's possible, but only with consistent inquiry and more tripping on less powerful psychedelics. When you take yourself too far too fast, bad trips become likely because your mind is totally overwhelmed. Smoked 5-MeO is too fast and too powerful for good understanding. LSD or AL-LAD is better for that. Or at least snorted 5-MeO. Smoked 5-MeO trips do not last 60 minutes. They last about 5-15 minutes. Snorted lasts 45 mins tops. The less consciousness work, the less existential thinking you've done, the less you're gonna be able to make sense of a 5 minute DMT trip. Sounds like in that trip you went up against what I call the insanity threshold -- that point when you realize that if you go any further it will turn into literal insanity. That's a difficult one for the mind to stomach. But past that threshold is the best stuff. In future trips you can learn to surrender to it and go deeper.

That's an illusion which is your job to overcome. See, right now, you're not even remotely conscious of just how dishonest you are in your interactions. So much so, that if you ever start to become conscious, your mind's first line of defense is: "Pfffft... well, that level of honestly is just impossible in the real world." That's an excuse! It only seems so impossible because right now your entire life is house of lies. Very authentic interaction is possible, but you're gonna have to really work for it. It won't be easy given all the habits of manipulation and lying that we're all conditioned with in this society. Which is NOT the say that you should go around telling everyone all the intimate details of your life or spouting off everything that enters your monkey mind. @How to be wise Modern science (quantum mechanics and general relativity) already says that all conventional notions of reality are untenable. Science has shown that reality doesn't really exist. But it doesn't matter. To the ego that's all theory. Even if science perfectly explained enlightenment, that alone wouldn't enlighten people. Enlightenment isn't hard. The hard part about is it is that no one wants it. If you give a magic pill to someone who doesn't want it, it will just freak them out and make them demonize the magic pill. Which is happened in the 60's with the psychedelic revolution. Society wasn't ready for it. Reforms are needed at all level of society: pop culture, religion, economy, government, education, law, etc.

@AlexB If you're young and ambitious, I would keep your options open and not tie yourself down with a mortgage. Yes, the rent is a bit wasteful, but it's worth flexibility. Once you get a house, you tend to get stuck. That's why I've avoided buying a house, even though I could.

@Slade Have you considered stand-up comedy? That might be right up alley. You could definitely make a successful niche in spiritual/enlightenment + stand-up. That would bring a new twist to an otherwise low-consciousness field.

@Hardkill Sounds like you should do it. It will grow you enormously, even if you end up utterly failing. Being dependent on your parents at 29 is lame. You're capable of much more than that. You can't listen to parents who you work for whether you should stop working for them. Talk about conflict of interest. Of course they want to keep you under their thumb. They've grown very comfortable with that arrangement. Working with your family is problematic. It's incestuous. You're not getting enough diversity of perspective there. Go actualize your life purpose. Working for your parents is NOT your LP. That's just your comfort zone.

@Serotoninluv Yeah, the territory is singular and undefinable. It has no name and no value-judgments say anything true about it. It just is. It's unknown what it is. It is itself. To see this requires dropping as many ideas about it as possible. The more ideas you have about it, the more distorted your perception of it.

@aniss Look around, see what everyone else is doing, and do the exact opposite.

You're more likely to catch an STD there than getting enlightened. It's a giant party. Which is not to say it's bad or that you shouldn't go. But enlightened it will not make you.

1) Nothing stops him. He's totally free. What stops you from sticking your finger in your butt? Nothing 2) There are no who's.

@egoless 1) It's not possible to be alive and not kill. Doesn't matter how enlightened you get. You're gonna kill lots of stuff. The nature of reality is ever-flux. It must feed upon itself. An enlightened person can do everything an unenlightened person can do. In fact, there is zero difference between them. Enlightenment is not about becoming "good". It's about becoming aware of what reality is. Just because you learn that 5+5=10, doesn't mean you won't murder someone. See? Awareness of Truth doesn't constrain action. 2) No, no-free-will means that there is no one who's in control of your body's actions. If you sit in a chair for the rest of your life, that will not be your choice. And if you climb Mt Everest every year, that will not be your choice. No matter what happens, it's not your choice. Because "YOU" are a concept. Like Santa Claus. Santa Claus does not cause Christmas presents to be distributed to kids. See? Because Santa Claus is a conceptual fabrication. 3) This is impossible to comprehend at your current level of consciousness. You must do self-inquiry if you want to grasp it.

I have read reports of people taking Jeffery's course and benefiting a lot from it. If you seek the most efficient spiritual technology in existence, you need look no further than 5-MeO-DMT. It's a veritable spiritual nuclear weapon. But be careful what you wish for Truth is not for the faint of heart.

Of course. You were literally Hitler. The only reason you have any knowledge of Hitler is because you are him. Consciousness happens through BEing. You cannot be conscious of a thing without being it. Literally. Ego denies this of course. That's what it means to create the self/other boundary. Nonduality = no boundaries When you can look Hitler in the eye and love him as much as you'd love your child, in that moment you will vanquish all evil in the world. But note: he might still throw you into a gas chamber. But you'll be at peace about it. You will understand why it is necessary.
