Are verbal thoughts always under visual thought?

What's primary, verbal or visual thought?

 

Can you think visually without verbal noise underneath?

 

Or are they one?

Yes, you can think with out language or sound entirely, with only images.

Or you can think with out images or language and just work with the raw intuition of knowing what your thinking about with out a symbolic representation.

Try to think with out subvocalizing, it helps when your in a calm state to practice this like late at night.
