I interpretate that, to be mature, is to be functional, but to be functional and adaptive, system has to have dysfunction and errors, which is imaturity

godel's incompleteness thereom, a system has to always have error or open to be adaptive, a system can not be closed and perfect

same as, being mature, there has to be always not-knowing and being child, playing, in order to continously adapt.
