New scientific frontier!

I wanted to share the article with you beacuse it is quite interesting. Let's hope that developments like this one will convince the public that psychedelics are a proper tool to treat psychological malfunctions.

It is amusing that they consider hallucinations unwanted "side-effects".

It's a feature, not a bug.

True haha :D

I wonder what an overdose would feel like. Without hallucinations one could probably be quite functional in daily life, despite from akward social interactions because of random laughing flashs etc. But for psychonautic endavors psychedlics without hallucinations and probably even more important the loss of memory and the ability of contingent linear thinking could really be a next step of evolution. Maybe the latter could be compensated through other nootropics etc. So one could crank up a trip to next level extremes.

It will never fly, it has way too high of an effective dose. If so much ergot was produced, to facilitate production of this compund, then the world would be flooded with illegal lsd for cents, because of how easily source material would become available on the grey market. Chemists that for now can't would start synthing it.

250 mg per single dose of Br-LSD, that's 2500 x 100 mcg LSD doses.
