Should I screen girls before the approach?

If I see a girl who is in a bad state should I just avoid her because if I approach her, she will just end up negatively affecting me. Seems much wiser to approach girls who are at your level of energy or higher.

If you have enough girls to approach after screening to enter into state/flow, sure. 
If it's just not to approach - approach instead.

@onacloudynight Yes you can, but you also need to be self-aware and honest about your motivations.

If you truly just don’t want to talk to her because she looks like she is having a bad night, you can do that. You obviously don’t have to talk to anyone.

But also be aware if that’s just an excuse.

In practice, it’s usually better for guys who are afraid to approach women to eliminate as many excuses as possible.
