I think my dentist didn't removed mercury amalgam fillings correctly

4 posts in this topic

So I had dentist appointment today and she removed amalgam fillings in a way that bunch of small gray/black pieces fall down to my mouth and then I needed just to spit it and rinse out my mouths with water. I removed amalgam fillings from 5 teeth and talking with her she didn't seem to be worried about anything, she even said that there are no any research proving that those fillings are dangerous.

I trusted her a lot before but now I am not sure anymore although for now I don't have any side effects.

Any advice what to do now? Just continue with my life or there are some steps I can do for mitigation of mercury toxicity from that procedure today. Being healthy and having sharp mind is really important for me and for my career.

Explicitly stating I have absolutely zero knowledge about any type of poisoning or metals.

However, if it was me, I would trust my body to take care of the small amount of foreign object that has entered the system. In this instance I will trust it will eradicate it in due course. Although I could be completely wrong but I am not the type of person to googling shit to scare myself, unless say I accidently drank shit loads of citric acid as I did 3 weeks ago ? even then the body sorted it out.

@Monkey_in_suit There are specialists that are specifically trained to do this procedure because most dentists have a very material understanding on how oral healthcare works you would need t find a more holistic dentist
