Meaninglessness vs Implications

4 posts in this topic

@Leo Gura You talk about that there is no meaning apart from self created meaning. However you also say that in truth there are “Radical Implications”.

What am I to make of this. If all meaning is self created that’s the end, there are no implications at all because meaninglessness = Reality has total freedom.

Please elaborate if you will Don Leo.

You are right. From the absolute perspective there are no implications. But from the relative perspective there are.

The whole enl work is deeply paradoxic. Take every sentence skeptically, knowing that there's some exception or given the right circumstances, the exact opposite is true.

There has to be a grasping that there is nothing to grasp, this is the paradox. How does one grasp non-grasping? The ego won't let this happen very easily, it is grounded in bealiving there is something it needs to grasp, to know, to manipulate. The nothing to grasp is something, it is everything, one must have the discipline to decern what is, cutting threw the process of identification until it dissolves.

All knowledge, memory, is an impression about the thing and not the thing itself, Reality is indistinct & infinite, therefor cannot be squished into a model or idea. This doesn't mean that you should't attempt to create a map to help you navigate life, it is just to realize what is, is so, and not what some self conceptualizes about it.

The how is what you build, the why is in your heart.
