Would you agree with Bernardo that accurate models can be intuited because the model making itself is part of the oneness? Or do you see it as a totally separate human-centric process?

Is bullshit not part of Oneness?

Or do you suppose there is this orb of Oneness, and then a heaping pile of bullshit sitting right outside of it?

Every model is like a finite 2D cross-sectional slice through an infinite-dimensional watermelon. It captures some aspect of the watermelon, but it's far shy of depicting the watermelon as a whole.

Hitler's view of the world is also partially valid, just like any scientific model. The problem is when people mistake that partiality for being something more than the limited thing that it is.

But aren't there degrees of bullshit? Like flat-earth theory compared to quantum mechanics. One of these models is far more accurate at modelling the real thing. Or would you put them all on the same playing field?

@Phyllis Wagner Like I already told you: the better the model the bigger the problem.

You're not getting it.

And which one is better?

Realize that the real thing, as directly experienced, is vastly different from both of these examples.

Maybe we should shove the culmination of multi-millennia old insight up our asses instead.
