Ok, so I want to remove my addictions permanently, but also I want to get enlightened. Will Hard determination sitting fulfil both of my needs?

yes and no.

yes because it will help a lot.
no because it's not enough.

what we call "addictions" are just habits that we judge as being harmful for us and/or for people around us. you have to go further. you have to fill your life with habits that you judge as being healthy for you and/or for people around you.

meditation is just one habit, but you cannot live by sitting forever.

this section may be useful for you. if you feel like doing it, let us know of your transformation. use your determination to inspire.

here's a little secret for you:

that ME needs to be questioned

not whatever comes after.

Do you have a body? What says so?

can an addiction exist without a body?

do you have a free will?

can you do stuff?

where do thoughts come from?

;)

just look !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Aamir King There are MANY tools to accomplish both. SDS is ONE such tool. But like a good carpenter, you wouldn't want to limit yourself to just one tool. You want a toolbox.

Can you imagine a young carpenter on the carpenter's forum asking the question:

"I want to build a cabinet and a deck. Will a hammer fulfill both my needs?"

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
