looking for info about communism

i would like to study communism but having a hard time finding a good source for leraning about it from.. 
somebody has maybe an intresting film/documentary/in depth article about communism and about the soviet union?
what im intrested in are these questions:
*how was life actually under communism? 
*how did the education system operated?
*pro's and con's of communism
*examples of corruption in communism
*how did the soviet union collapse and why?

@Husseinisdoingfine Great job listing and categorising these works in adequate scientific disciplines. I am just dipping my toe with Lenin's Imperialism the last stage of Capitalism for a Marxist literary online reading club I joined.

@NoN-RaTiOnAL I would also add the works that @Nak Khid reccomendended from Rick Wolff, as basic contemporary introductions to Marxism and Socialist variations in ideas generally through history and today etc. 

1.Understanding Marxism by Richard Wolff from 2018

2. Understanding Socialism by Richard Wolff from 2019

You can find these books in pdf form by typing them in the libgen.org free library archive.
