Sleep apnea

4 posts in this topic

Just a quick question for people here. Does anyone else here have sleep apnea, and if so, do y'all know any ways to help with the brain fog. I want to continue doing this work, but the brain fog is so bad sometimes where I'll just zone out for 10 to 20 minutes at a time with no memory of what just happened, especially with this type of work, which can be grueling sometimes. Just looking for some advice.

Thank you!

Diet, stress, emotional support, physical activity, purpose/meaning?

i used to have sleep issues linked with these areas...mindful eating, meditation, deep breathing, baths, connecting/expressing (art), openness have been very helpful in producing restful sleep, dissolving unsuitable neurotic thought patterns

Being overweight or obese is the most common cause worldwide for sleep apnea. But looking at your picture, I suppose that's not an issue so further investigation in the sleep-clinic should be done. Sleep apnea is no fun so start by working with the professional institution and ensure there is nothing else going on.

Have you had any investigation whether it is the obstructive or central one? The later could be neuroological, or related to ongoing cardiovascular disease or respiratory condition. Best get that all investigated.

Hi, fixing the root cause is the way to go but I think mouth taping is the best short-cut. I've been taping my mouth for like a year and works wonders, it also prevents you from mouth breathing when you're asleep.
