Loving everything easy in theory so hard in practice

8 posts in this topic

It's a hard pill to swallow/bullet to bite to "love everything". I know that we are god/infinite etc. but, there are some things that when I think about them it makes my skin crawl/churns my stomach. My mind goes to these dark places from time to time. I remember when I accepted this job to sell phones to low income people and I was so shocked and disgusted at what I saw. We went to these areas of South LA that were just so depressing and dilapidated with people who were just such undesirables. every corner a liquor store, a bail bonds place, and a payday loan. Then a lady on the street with a crack pipe. I was so grossed out and disgusted at what I saw. Then there was a mentally ill lunatic who was talking to himself and to the cars passing by incoherently and he got a fruit and threw it onto the street. It was funny and depressing at the same time. I couldn't imagine actually having to live in a place like that and not feeling a sense of hopelessness, depression, and loneliness everyday it was so gross. When I came back home as much as I get a little frustrated that my life hardly feels like I'm moving forward and I'm stuck I was just so so so happy to be home on that day and understand that my situation is so much better and I've kind of taken it for granted. I don't know sitting here at my desk in front of my computer but, being in the thick of the things I consider the ugliness is something else. I not only think about that but, I think about redneck culture too and hillbillies and how I can't see myself being happy with that stuff around me. Then I think to myself hey I'm everything experienced but, what about if everything also includes slipping into a pile of shit that infested with cockroaches... that's gross. I remember reading about medieval European torture devices like when I went to the London Dungeon experience but, the thing is that it was fun but, the fact is that life was really that depressing and scary back in those days and people acted like violent barbarians and had their organs pulled out while they were still alive. Thinking about all that stuff is so fucking depressing and hopeless yet, everything that exists is a part of me so would it include all of that. How the fuck can someone ever comes to terms with that it just seems so counter intuitive and tough.

This is the downside to somebody telling you about something that you're supposed to find yourself.

And what I'm referring to is the concept that you think you have to love everything.

It's a great sales pitch to get followers but love is a spell that's man made it is not what God is made out of it is not with pure conscious awareness is made out of it's a sales tactic of the New Age movement. Instead what you should be searching for is understanding because understanding will solve everything for you love will just get you child support a flat tire some court fees and a bunch of grandkids and maybe a war or two.

So @Leo Gura is this whole love everything pitch some kind of pyramid scheme to get us to be taken advantage of? lol.

No, leo simply recounts his experiences of the absolute and tells us like it is. The problem here is that you're being given a glimpse of the endgoal before you've even remotely gotten there. Divine love is something you slowly and gradually learn how to do and it is genuinely born of understanding. Instead of trying to force yourself to love everything (which won't work), try to acquire understanding of the absolute because that will naturally result in the blossoming forth of unconditional love. Leo essentially got there many times and so he's simply letting us know what's there.

This has got to be some form of circular reasoning fallacy I just can't think of term for it.

Love is the movement of the Infinite god through you.

God love himself and hate himself.

God isn't perfect. God want to be perfect.

For me at list. It seams like god is a growing

You are free to hate or love. But choices create your reality
