Correcting posture during strong determination sitting?

5 posts in this topic

I'll be trying to do a strong determination sit and my back starts out straight but it starts to slouch without me noticing. Should I just refrain from correcting? Something I've often done is that ill inhale very deeply as much as I can so as to force my back to be straighter without using my other muscles as much as possible (since in a strong determination sit there should be minimal movement of muscles besides the ones needed for breathing).

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

I’m not a fan of SDS, but anyway ideally it should be done with a posture you can maintain “comfortably” for the whole session.

Alright, thanks.

@lmfao I do the inhale thing like you do. I'd possibly just stick with that? It's the most natural way I suppose?
