Yes, and even after recognizing that there really is huge potential it's easy to use them very superficially for self-development purposes. They have the tendency though to be unpredictable for the sole purpose of escapement, as they bring buried issues to the surface and shatter the ego and thus are seldom the drug-of-choice for escaping mind.
