A relationship can be of the past, an ex-relationship, an old relationship, a dead relationship

Love is happening right now in this moment

 

A relationship is between several people, usually two, sometimes more

Love is all that there is right now

 

You can work on a relationship, make it better, or worse, abandon it, save it

Love is now, in this moment, right here
