Feeling powerless to get what you want (How to get over it)

6 posts in this topic

I feel like the biggest roadblock that we face when we're trying to create an extraordinary life is the feeling of utter powerlessness to get what we want. Our dreams feels like reaching the top of a high mountain. We know it's possible to get there, but we don't have the helicopter. We, as human, are so afraid of disappointment so we seek comfort and certainty by choosing a normal life.

I'm in a position where I have completely committed to achieving my dreams because living a normal life is far worse than death to me. However, I don't know how to get there or whether it is even possible for me to get there. I heard about the law of attraction and stuff and it really gave me a hope, but still there is an aspect of me that is afraid of disappointment. I'm also afraid of being stuck in this uncertainty. So I don't know what kind of advises I'm looking for, but I'd like to know what @Leo or anyone who wants give me their opinion about how we could get over this feeling of powerlessness and uncertainty.

(Sorry for my poor english, btw)

I am going to give you an advice that is life changing, it changed my life and it changed many of my friends

This will be the single best tool you will ever need and that's if you apply it ofc

First you take a stick and you hit yourself on the head 20 times every day for 3 months and after that time you will see great results

The only way to fail is to not do it

@Temuka

Start by getting small wins. Set a realistic goal and then actually go and execute on it instead of fantasizing. Slowly your mind will open up to more and more possibilities as your self-image and confidence changes.
