What's your perspective of desires?

3 posts in this topic

When you have a strong desire to do something, do you see it as something you must actualise or a distraction?

Without actualising your desires, your quality of life decreases, which makes the spiritual path unbearable at times. But Desires never end, we always want more, so in a way if you follow your desires you'll end up not getting anywhere at the end of your life.

Can you be more specific about what a desire is. Is it a desire to get up in the night and have a glass of water, a desire to buy a sports car?
