How to find a retreat

I was wondering if anyone could share a spiritual retreat they have been on and recommend it. I am still a beginner and I am not quite sure what to look at and how to find a retreat. I like very much the teachings of E Tolle, however he organizes only 1 retreat per year and it is already sold out.

Just go to a Zen temple, it's not that pricy, and if you don't have enough money they either cut down the price or let you come for free.

Facebook is useful, but very random at the same time. It's a reason why it sometimes give you golden-nuggets you wouldn't find in any other way.

Local websites and sites like OLX or craigslist list events, including retreats.
